My name is Anya Lawrence. I am a Doula in Training located in Rocky Mount, NC. Different birth practices are becoming more welcome within our community here, I want to be apart of normalizing healthy birth practices as well. My inspiration stems from my own birthing journey and also my hypnobirthing teacher. I am getting my certification with New Beginnings Doula Training online. I would love to help women feel empowered to be knowledgeable about every choice that they are making with their body, labor, and birth. I believe that birth does not have to be scary as reflected on tv, worrisome as reflected by many bad experiences we may hear from others, or deadly as the statistic rates prove.
