Hi! Im Chrystal. Thank you for being here! I’m a DONA-certified Birth and Postpartum doula dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to families throughout their birthing journey. Based in Littleton, I share my home with my husband and our beloved Springer Spaniel, Fisher. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Regis University and previously worked as a nurse aide and a midwife’s assistant, experiences that shaped my deep respect for both clinical care and the natural wisdom of birth. I began working as a doula in 2022, earned my certification in 2023, and have since had the honor of supporting more than 100 families. I have attended births of all varieties including home births, VBACs, cesarean, unmedicated, assisted, and more. Outside of birth work, I love spending time outdoors; identifying plants, hiking, camping, or simply walking with Fisher. I love the warmth from the sun and the sound of birds, they give me life! You’ll often find me enjoying a cup of tea with a good book, exploring creative outlets, or spending an afternoon wandering through Barnes&Noble or World Market. My guilty pleasure is rewatching media I’ve already seen and love, or rereading old books that I can’t forget. I like to think of my role as a consultant, advocate, and fairy godmother all in one. I support you in achieving your dream birth by offering continuous physical and emotional care, helping you maintain informed consent, and empowering your instincts while holding space for this incredible experience. I also work closely with your partner, giving them the confidence and tools to provide meaningful emotional and physical comfort. I value organization, timely communication, and nonjudgmental care. My goal for my clients is a labor that feels peaceful, informed, and joyful. In the labor room, my focus is always on my client’s comfort and their overall goals for birth. I prioritize finding the balance between letting labor unfold naturally and offering suggestions when they can truly make a positive difference. I often joke that just because I know Spinning Babies doesn’t mean I’m going to “flip you like a pancake”—those tools are there when they’re needed, not as a default. To me, your intuition is VIP, and medicine is a powerful tool we can use when it supports your safety and your vision. Past clients have mentioned my calm, reassuring presence and my soothing voice helping to ground them in intense moments. When helping families get acclimated at home in the first few weeks, my focus is on ensuring that my clients get off on the right foot. I prioritize guiding both parents and baby through the new life they are adjusting to, helping build structure and workflows that work for each individual family. My top two favorite parts of attending births are feeling like I have helped, and the look on your face when you realize; “I DID IT!” Thanks again for being here and congratulations!

Upon our first meeting with Chrystal she instantly entered our hearts. You can truly feel her care and compassion for this field. Chrystal was with us before the baby, during the delivery, and has continued to stay in contact. She stayed flexible and attentive during the birthing process. We felt very supported the whole way. We would could not recommend anyone more than Chrystal, and would love for her to be a part of our next birth story!

Lisa Popp

Hi! I'm Lisa! I'm a Christian Doula and Childbirth Educator in SE Aurora, CO. Right now I'm offering birth support in all birth settings (as long as you have a midwife or OB), and Childbirth Education in my home or your home! My faith is the foundation for my life, and most of my clients find and choose me because I stand strong in Biblical truth and moral values. I am a mom of 5, and wife to a husband who is a systems engineer, so I have great perspective as a mother and can relate well to new dads that might be more analytical and logic-minded. Music, art, reading, and all things creative are my hobbies, and I love to spend time in nature. I have experience supporting families with every kind of birth plan, from natural home birth, to hospital epidural birth, to planned cesarean. My favorite kind of birth to support is YOURS. I truly believe that you know what's best for your body and your baby, and I'm here for it!

Lisa provided me support and guidance while I was pregnant with my first child. Working with Lisa was a huge boost to my physical, emotional, and mental well-being. As a first-time mom, I had a lot of concerns and anxiety. I appreciated being able to ask Lisa questions and hear about her experiences as a doula. It gave me an idea of what I could expect at the hospital where I was planning to deliver. She assisted me in formulating a Birth Plan. (Ultimately, we didn’t end up using this, but the process of writing it made me consider some important issues such as whether I wanted a medicated or unmedicated birth.) The biggest benefit from working with Lisa was learning how to help my body during pregnancy. I am a very go-go-go type of person and as a result, I was twisting my back in all sorts of bad ways. Lisa assisted me in doing pregnancy-safe stretches to help ease the discomfort and eventually referred me to a local, trusted chiropractor who did absolute WONDERS to relieve the pain I was experiencing. I am thankful for Lisa’s service and have fond memories of being her client.

Hi, I’m Kristin (she/her)! As a certified Birth and Postpartum doula and a mother of five, I bring a wealth of experience and expertise to my role. Supporting my sister through her three births and serving as a surrogate for a loving family deepened my love of all things birthy! I recognize the vital role of partners in the birthing process and strive to foster a supportive and unified atmosphere throughout pregnancy and birth. I purchased a birth doula package from Kristin. We had the free consultation (video call) and two prenatal visits and one post partum visit in my home. My husband (which was also my support person) attended the visits, too. It was important to her to include my husband in the conversations because she wanted the three of us to be a team, which I think is great! Kristin provided us detailed information about the labor process, gave us handouts to refer to and she also showed me stretches/workouts that I can do to prepare for labor. She answered all of our questions and provided resources. She went through a detailed questionnaire with me which helps to create a birth plan and also prepares you to think about the ‚what if situations‘. My water broke at home and my labor progressed very quickly. Kristin arrived very fast at my home. She helped my husband pack up the car (incl. our toddler) and she was with me in the car and helped me stay calm and focused on laboring during the 20-30min drive. I was so thankful to have her with me. I would have panicked but she convinced me that we are making it to the hospital - and we did. While I was birthing, there were lots of questions and voices from different nurses and doctors. But Kristin was next to me and she would repeat what they said and I only focused on her voice. Kristin took photos once the baby was born and I am so thankful for them. She stayed with us for a bit and then checked with us when it was ok for her to leave. Throughout the pregnancy and post partum Kristin checked in with me or I could ask her a question and she would give me resources. My husband and I are thankful that we found Kristin and we would totally work with her again! I highly recommend her!

¡Hola! My name is Karen and I am a fierce advocate for reproductive justice. I love Sistersong’s definition of reproductive justice, which is, “the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have children, not have children, and parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities.” Therefore, I seek to support people within their journey, honoring their bodily autonomy and rights, which is why it is important for me to support birthing people, those seeking to release their pregnancy, and parents wanting to create safe and nurturing environments. I am a Spanish-speaking birth and postpartum doula who is passionate about making sure the birthing person is feeling empowered, liberated, and heard throughout their pregnancy, labor and birth, and postpartum. I am a medicaid-approved birth doula. I am also an abortion companion and will provide you with unbiased, nonjudgemental support and unconditional love. I believe wholeheartedly that your body knows how and what to do, and that you know YOUR body the best, so I will support you in whatever YOU feel is best for you. I know you have a voice and I value that, so I will advocate WITH you. Birth and the transition to parenthood, as well as the postpartum after birth or an abortion (spontaneous or medical) is a mental, physical, and spiritual shift, so I approach my work with clients in a holistic and trauma-informed way. To be a part of your journey is an honor and a privilege and I will treat it as such when you let me hear your story, enter your home, meet your family, and be a part of a transformational moment in your life.
