Hello! My name is Makaishea or Mak! I am a trauma informed birth and postpartum doula here on the unceded traditional territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil- Waututh Nations (Lower Mainland, BC more precisely the Tri-Cities). I come from mixed Caribbean, Indigenous, and European heritage. Specifically, Jamaican and Matsqui First Nations, we are one of the 11 tribes that make up the Sto:lo Nation here locally in the Sumas Prairie (Abbotsford). I am proud to be dedicated to improving maternal and newborn care/support within my communities and beyond. I am a mother of 2 beautiful children. A wife to my amazing and supportive husband. A sister, daughter, godmother, and friend. I enjoy learning, growing and staying connected to what matters most. My spirituality is very important to me and helps guide my values, mindset, and daily life. I am a strong believer in "humour is one of life's best tools" In my spare time, I enjoy reading, weightlifting, hiking, traveling, spending time outdoors, laughing with friends and family, and a good caramel latte ♡ I look forward to meeting you!

Working with Mak has honestly been one of the best decisions we’ve made during this pregnancy. From the very first consultation, she was so kind, genuine, and informative. She came to my home, sat down with me, walked me through what her role as a doula would look like, answered all my questions, and instantly made me feel comfortable. I never felt pressured or “sold to” at all. If anything, she gave me the information and confidence I needed to make the best decision for myself. What stood out to me most was how empowering she was. She reminded me that I was fully capable of having a beautiful birth experience with or without a doula, which I really respected. In the end, I chose to move forward with her because I could tell her focus was truly on supporting both me and my partner throughout the experience. She also checks in often just to see how I’m doing and how pregnancy is going, and she always congratulates me with each passing week. It may seem small, but it’s been so encouraging and reassuring during this season, especially after 4 previous miscarriages. Our first official appointment together was amazing too. My partner was there and had such a great experience with her as well. She’s very hands-on in such a comforting and supportive way. She guided us through different exercises and learning activities without it ever feeling overwhelming. She brought dolls to teach diaper changing, diapers, a medicine ball, handouts for birth prep, interactive card games around birth preferences and important conversations, and so many other thoughtful tools. You can tell she really knows her stuff and genuinely cares about the families she works with. The heart she brings into her work is really special and has made this experience even more magical than it already always was!

Peace starts at birth — and every parent deserves to feel supported, informed, and deeply cared for throughout their journey into parenthood. Hi, I’m Trinity, a birth and postpartum doula passionate about supporting growing families through pregnancy, birth, postpartum recovery, and the emotional transitions that come with becoming a parent. Whether you’re preparing for your first baby, navigating postpartum emotions, struggling with breastfeeding or pumping, adjusting to sleepless nights, or learning how to care for yourself while caring for a newborn, you do not have to go through it alone. I offer a calm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space for parents — especially mothers who may be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, emotionally exhausted, or unsure in their new role. My goal is to help you feel grounded, empowered, and supported every step of the way. I have experience supporting both medicated and unmedicated births and offer personalized support tailored to your unique goals and needs. For families interested in a natural, low-intervention birth experience, I also offer hypnobirthing guidance, breathing techniques, visualization exercises, and guided meditations to help prepare your mind and body for birth in a peaceful and intentional way. Some of the ways I can support you include: • Birth planning and emotional preparation • Postpartum emotional support and adjustment • Breastfeeding and pumping support • Sleep and newborn routine guidance • Introducing older siblings to a new baby • Couples transitioning into parenthood together • Guided meditation and breathing sessions • Postpartum recovery and gentle core-strengthening support • Healthy meal prep and nurturing household support • Creating calming environments for birth and postpartum recovery • Ongoing encouragement, education, and compassionate care I believe every birth journey deserves gentleness, respect, and support — no matter what path your birth takes. I currently offer a free 15-minute consultation call so we can connect, discuss your needs, and see if we’re a good fit. After that, support sessions are available for $30 per 45-minute session. If you’re looking for someone to walk beside you during this transformative chapter with warmth, patience, and genuine care, I would be honoured to support you. Hey my name is Santaya, I am a Birth doula.I work as a pregnancy coach while also being a personal trainer for delivery. I work with families to help them achieve their goals for birth. This means i meet with patients (and families) twice during pregnancy to go over needs and goals for clients birth plans. During my clients pregnancy i visit them every trimester to do a check up. In these visits i go over what to expect within that trimester and answer any of the patients questions. I also track the pregnancy in a book that i give to the patient after delivery. I offer business hours on call support to my clients. This means i will be available from 9 am-5pm for physical support, emotional support and informational support via text or call. I help assist/coach my clients with delivery at the hospital however long that may be.I don't have to do shift change. I am present during labor till a few hours after.I help support clients that decide on natural birth, epidural or C section. Postpartum clients usually feel they no longer need men after a couple hours. Most times this is natural for the family unit to adjust and adapt to normal everyday life. However, I also offer packages for postpartum newborn aftercare where I can assist with breastfeeding and overnight care of the newborn. My passion in life is the celebration of mothers. Working with women and helping women build their families THIER way. Thank you for taking the time to read this. If you feel you are in need of a doula please reach out. I offer 1hr consultations in person for $25 dollars.Or free 15 minute consultation over the phone. You can contact me via email @ taya.prodoula@gmail.com. Please contact me with any questions about services or to book consultation
