I have always been drawn to newborns, infants, children of all ages, and their families. There is a richness in family life that always brings about such a great sense of wonder and awe. There is a way a baby or toddler looks back at you and you know they don’t care what color your hair is, how many wrinkles you have, if you are overweight, underweight, or have zero sense of style. They just know how to LOVE. It is that unconditional love and trust in a baby’s eyes that instilled a strong desire in my heart to protect this innocence and trust by providing families with care providers they could trust. Care that is always gentle, loving, slowly paced, curious, and joyful. We want to bring this into your home.

It is her desire to help families understand their rights and options so they feel empowered to advocate for themselves. "Most of us did not learn when we were young that our capacity to be self-loving would be shaped by the work we do and whether that work enhances our well-being." – bell hooks. This is a quote that has stuck with me as I explore my career path. Becoming a doula is something I did not follow through with until the murder of George Floyd. Seeing the striking images of pregnant Black mothers protesting around the country ignited the fire in me to finally complete my training to become a certified perinatal educator - meaning I can provide childbirth education, prenatal support, labor and delivery support, lactation support, and newborn care support. But my calling to birth work started on the day I was born with my mother being hospitalized for 2 months postpartum from an avoidable mistake during an emergency c-section. I value empathy, collaboration, and being open minded. As a doula, I am intentional about serving my clients in a way that supports self-empowerment, so they feel they have all the information they feel they need to make the best decision for them and their baby/babies. I do not shy away from vulnerability, and I believe this allows me to have relationships with my clients built on trust.

South Saint Paul, Minnesota
I’m Paige and I’m a mom of 3. I spent most of my young adult life working with people with developmental disabilities. After that, I received my Sign Language Interpreting degree from Saint Paul College and worked with Deaf/Hard of Hearing folks before becoming a stay-at-home mom. I have spent the last several years raising my kids. It hasn’t always been easy, but it’s my favorite job yet! Now it’s time for me to do what I really love: postpartum work! I have always been passionate about families, pregnancy, birth, babies, and postpartum. Parents deserve so much more support and education as they are growing their families. Many people tend to focus only on pregnancy and preparing for birth, but they don’t spend time preparing for postpartum. My goal is to help families be more prepared and supported for all that comes when adding a new baby to the family. I want families to have a smoother and more peaceful postpartum experience. I am based out of South Saint Paul, Minnesota and am currently serving the greater Twin Cities area.

Hello and Congratulations on your new arrival! I've been a birth doula since 2018 through the organization DONA. Every birth I have assisted with has been a beautiful and a learning experience for me. I feel blessed to be a part of this special moment in the lives of my clients. My practice provides you and your partner with continuous emotional and physical support. You are in charge, but a doula can assist with you staying in charge, especially in a hospital setting. Doula's are skilled at helping to alleviate the fear factor of giving birth. Every mother deserves a doula, and I hope you would consider me to be yours. Best wishes! Rhonda

Hi! I'm Bria. I'm a wife and a mama to three little humans, foodie, traveler, and outdoors-lover. I'm also a birth doula and Lamaze childbirth educator. My interest in birth work began after my second baby was born. My passion is in supporting people in their journey to parenthood. Everyone wants to hold the baby.... I'm here to hold the parent[s]! After hearing countless testimonies from birthing people who wish they'd known more before giving birth, I decided to become a doula. My goal is to INFORM, ASSIST, and EMPOWER pregnant people, so that they go into their birth feeling confident and supported. As a doula, I support all birth. Whether you're planning a home birth in a tub, or a C-section in a hospital, I'm here for it. The most important thing to me is that we develop mutual trust, and that you feel comfortable with me by your side. My personality is pretty type-A, and I love numbers and evidence. One of my goals as a doula and childbirth educator is to make sure my clients always know their options, and understand the risks/benefits of the decisions they make. My childbirth ed course is designed to teach you ALL of your birthing options - not just your hospital's "policies". I'm excited to connect with you, and work with you during this lifechanging time!
At Lullaby Nest, we believe that the first five years of a child’s life are fundamentally important for their development so we work closely with families to provide guidance and education while also being respectful and understanding of diverse parenting styles and comfort levels around the sleep training process. We use a holistic approach as we learn about the whole child in order to create unique and appropriate plans. We then walk closely alongside each family until they’ve reached their sleep goals." ~Lullaby Nest Team
