Hey! I'm Nandi, and supporting families during their birthing journeys is not just my profession—it’s my calling. My passion for birth work stems from witnessing the strength and resilience of birthing people and my desire to create spaces where everyone feels seen, heard, and empowered. I’ve had the honor of working as a doula in various settings, from hospitals like Wellstar to community-based programs like Healthy Mothers, Healthy Babies. Each experience has deepened my commitment to providing compassionate, personalized care that honors each family’s unique story. Here’s what you can expect when we work together: - Connection: I take the time to get to know you and your family, so I can support your physical, emotional, and informational needs. - Advocacy: Whether it's navigating hospital policies or exploring comfort techniques, I ensure you feel confident and supported every step of the way. - Holistic Care: As a certified yoga instructor specializing in prenatal yoga, I incorporate movement and mindfulness to help you feel calm and prepared. One of my most meaningful experiences was supporting women in recovery through Motherhood Beyond Bars, where I saw how vital nurturing care and a nonjudgmental presence can be. That philosophy guides me every day. I am trained as a Full Spectrum and Abortion Doula, so I can support you through any reproductive health journey with respect and compassion. Birth is unpredictable, but my goal is always the same: to help you feel empowered, informed, and cared for, no matter what. If you’re looking for a doula who will listen deeply, support you fully, and celebrate your strength, I’d love to connect with you.

I love Nandi so much!!! Nandi joined my pregnancy support team kinda late (my fault) but she helped me and my partner to feel confident going into labor & delivery. Even though everything didn’t go as planned, she was there by my side to ask questions and to make sure I received the best care at the hospital. Thank you 💗

I’m a Mother of 5 and have been a Birth and Postpartum Doula since 2005. I believe informed, supported families make confident decisions and that emotional safety matters just as much as physical care. My approach is calm, judgment-free, and deeply client-centered. I support families through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period with hands-on education, advocacy, and compassionate emotional support. I’m especially mindful of how past experiences, expectations, and birth trauma can shape the way someone moves through pregnancy and birth, and I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I don’t believe there’s one “right” way to give birth. My role is to meet you where you are, help you understand your options, and support you in making decisions that feel aligned with your values. Whether you’re planning a low-intervention birth, navigating medical care, or processing a previous experience, I’m here to walk alongside you. When I’m not supporting families, you can usually find me staying active in the gym, learning more about holistic health, or soaking up time with my own family.

She was truly a lifesaver for us. We hired her as both our birth doula and postpartum doula, and she consistently went above and beyond. She answered my questions at all hours, day and night, and always provided knowledgeable, thoughtful responses. If she didn’t know an answer, she took the time to research it thoroughly and followed up with well-informed guidance. Her communication was incredibly prompt, which made her extremely reliable. She is also remarkably proactive—I never had to tell her what needed to be done. She continuously looked for ways to help and always thought about how to make our lives easier. We initially planned to hire her for just the first month, but we quickly decided to extend her time with us because of how exceptionally helpful and caring she was with our newborn. She taught us many practical, realistic tips for caring for our baby and was always patient and observant. It was truly a pleasure to work with her, and we are so grateful to have had her support.

An Incredibly Positive and Blessed Experience with Abbie! As a first time mom, I cannot speak highly enough about the support and care I received from Abbie. From our very first meeting, it was clear that she was not only knowledgeable and experienced but also deeply compassionate. She took the time to get to know our preferences, answer all of our questions, and make sure we felt comfortable and supported throughout my entire pregnancy journey. She was great with communication and provided us with resources throughout pregnancy for birth prep. When labor came, Abbie was calm, present, and prepared. She gave us reassurance and confidence in our birth plan/decisions throughout, while respecting the space and prioritizing baby's health. She was present throughout all of labor (A LONG TIME) and was able to help me try different positions, offer hands on support and holistic pain relief strategies, prayer, Bible verses, positive affirmations and encouraged me to eat & drink. Her presence made all the difference—I felt empowered and confident knowing she was there advocating for me and my baby. What truly stands out about Abbie is her ability to create a warm, non-judgmental space, no matter what the circumstances, and her shared faith which allowed me to open up and feel comfortable having her at my birth. She was prepared during the labor process and helped my husband and I feel confident. Thanks to her support and expertise, I felt so much more prepared for the challenges of labor and postpartum. I couldn’t have asked for a better doula, and I highly recommend her to anyone. I also want to share that I originally was skeptical of having a doula, but after many prayers I am so grateful we found Abbie and had her support during my unmedicated birth. God is good! Thank you, Abbie, for being such a vital part of our birth story and for helping us bring our baby girl into this world!

I want to introduce myself. My name is Olivia Gooden, CD(DONA)and I am the owner of Another Mother's Touch Doula Services. I became a mother 33 years ago with my first child. I remember being in that delivery room alone. Even though my mom and baby dad was on the outside in the waiting room. I was alone. I felt alone. Things happened so fast. Some of those things are still a blurry to this day. About 27 years ago, I witnessed my first child being born outside of my own two and it was amazing and since then I've witnessed or supported about 12 others and this was before I got my official doula training. It came so natural to coach, encourage, inspire these mothers through and after seeing those miracles being born over and over that I wanted to do this. Back then, at first, there wasn't a name for what I found myself loving to do. Then eventually I heard them calling it a birth coach but there wasn't anyone close by to train and certify me, which I found out as time went on that I didn't have to be certify just to support another mother. If we go back in history there were midwives and other women and mothers supporting the laboring mother but somewhere along time, we got a way from that but I wanted to be that support. As time went on I began to hear the word, Doula. Doula is a geek word that mean " woman's servant." It is also define as a trained companion who is not a healthcare professional and who supports another person through a significant health-related experience, such as childbirth, miscarriage, induced abortion or stillbirth, or non-reproductive experiences such as dying. (I don't support abortion). Types: There are a few types of doulas: birth doulas, postpartum doulas, and antepartum doulas. A birth doula provides assistance to another woman before and during labor and childbirth; a postpartum doula provides assistance to new parents after their baby is born (though some doulas offer both services). Once again there was no one close around me that had ever heard the word, doula. It began as a desire in my heart over 25 years ago. June 2020, during the pandemic I had the opportunity to go through doula training. Even though I don't have to get certified and dont have to have the training, I wanted the benefits that would come along with having both. Not only would I be a blessing to mothers and fathers but I could benefit from what the industry will be in the future. As a mother, it feels good knowing that you have the support of another mother and/or woman by your side along with any other supporting person while you are bringing a precious gift in the world while you are at your vulnerable state. November 14, 2022 i became a certified Birth Dona (CD) through DONA International. Another Mother's Touch is here to support you.One mother supporting another mother. Trained and Certified. Olivia Gooden CD(DONA) Owner of Another Mother's Touch LLC. Doula Services Trained and Certified *CD means Certified Doula

Growing up in a household that valued holistic health, I learned early on about the importance of caring for our bodies and staying active. My personal journey through health challenges in early adulthood emphasized the need to look beyond symptoms and find the root cause of issues. This experience also highlighted the significance of advocating for one's own health and finding medical professionals who truly listen. With a longstanding passion for helping others and sharing knowledge, I realized my true calling when I took a childbirth education class. This revelation led me to the world of doulas, where I discovered a profound need for support during the birthing journey. The term "Doula," which means "a woman who serves" in Greek, perfectly encapsulates my mission to empower families in their birthing experiences and health choices. My passion for photography beautifully complements my doula work, capturing precious moments during birth that families will treasure forever. This unique combination provides families with both emotional support and lasting memories of their birthing journey. In addition to my doula services, I offer childbirth education classes that guide and empower families. My goal is to help families find their voices and stand firm in their beliefs throughout the birthing process, instilling confidence and a sense of control. When I'm not busy supporting families or teaching classes, I enjoy spending time with my husband, George, and our adventurous cat, Grayson. Together, we explore the great outdoors, whether kayaking, hitting the beach, or hiking. If you are seeking a dedicated professional to make your birthing experience empowering and memorable, you've come to the right place. With me by your side, you can trust that your birth plan and needs will be fully supported throughout your journey.

As a first-time dad, I thought my main job during labor was to not pass out. Turns out, with Savannah by our side, I got to be an actual support system instead of just a nervous wreck holding a granola bar. From the first meeting, Savannah made both of us feel completely at ease. She answered every question, even my ridiculous ones like, “is there a wrong way to hold a leg during pushing?”. She helped us create a birth plan, and more importantly, she made sure we felt confident when things didn’t go exactly according to that plan. When labor started on a Tuesday at 2 AM, she was the first to text back ,faster than my mom, which is saying something. Lol. By Wednesday afternoon, after countless counter-pressure techniques, words of encouragement, and somehow keeping my wife calm through contractions that could bend steel, she was still going strong. I, on the other hand, was running on fumes and hospital vending machine coffee. She even reminded me to eat so I didn’t become the patient instead of the support partner. Then came the magic moment. As my wife was delivering our little one on Wednesday night, Savannah coached me through every step. She knew exactly what we needed even when we didn’t but she always asked before stepping in to make us feel comfortable. This whole experience was a blessing. Thank you Savannah for taking care of my wife and helping welcome our new addition to our family.

My name is Janis Adams, I am a certified Labor Doula and I live near Atlanta. My background is in early childhood education. I am a mother of six and a grandmother of twelve.. I have worked in public school and currently hold a brokers license in Real Estate. Years ago, I went through labor and delivery with a couple I knew when they had their third child. Afterward both mom and dad thanked me for being the extra hands they needed! A week or so later T said, " You should think about becoming a Doula," you were so helpful! I thought to myself, "What's a Doula?" I have been involved with and supported many births over the years; The first time was with my best friend 42 years ago while I myself was a week away from delivering my own first child. I have also been at the births of most of my grandchildren to assist, encourage and support my daughters as they went through the birth experience for the first time. It was during the Pandemic that I enrolled and took courses to be come a labor doula. During that time , the number of people that could be in the labor and delivery process was limited to just the mom and the dad unless you had a doula. One of my daughters and her husband were having their first child and they wanted me to be there. My daughter called and said to me that I had to become a doula! She gave me no choice! The things I do to relax are reading, gardening, sailing and traveling. Also, I have started a homeschool group and teach several students since the pandemic. In all, I have come full circle back to education but this time with adults and children!
