Eloise was worth her weight in gold during a difficult birth that didn't go to plan. My hope was to labor at home as long as possible and to have an unmedicated water birth. However, I unfortunately developed preeclampsia with severe features, which necessitated an emergency induction at 37 weeks and being confined to the bed on a magnesium drip for the duration of the multi-day labor. I called in Eloise for support during a very low point in my labor, when my epidural had failed and dilation had not progressed for hours. Eloise immediately created a peaceful environment with candles, essential oils, and gentle music, and employed massage, heat therapy, and a TENS unit to promote relaxation. In the first three hours after Eloise's arrival, my dilation suddenly advanced from five to over nine centimeters, a fact which I absolutely attribute to the deep sense of safety she provided. When it came time to deliver my son, I was struggling with feeling weak and depleted after a long, overwhelming labor. Eloise calmly encouraged me through each and every contraction during three hours of pushing. I truly believe that there's no way I would have been able to fulfill my goal of having a vaginal birth if not for her steady presence and her guidance on how to make my pushing more effective. In the weeks following the birth, I ended up suffering from a painful and persistent uterine infection. I had not purchased a postpartum package from Eloise, but she continued to check in with me nonetheless, a testament to the genuine care she has for her clients. Having Eloise as my doula was an extraordinary silver lining of a challenging birth experience. My husband and I are so grateful for Eloise and would unreservedly recommend her to anyone.

I am Karee' (car)REE, ya' homegirl who just so happens to be, a full spectrum doula, energy healer, Level II Reiki Practitioner, and Womb Wellness practitioner. Also known as The Original Coochie Gangster of The OCG Collective. I've been blessed to do the work of the women—whether that's helping a woman reconnect to her womb through ceremony, supporting a mother and family through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, termination, and/or the grand transition we know as death. My mission is to hold a sacred space where I can support and empower individuals through the divinely guided transitions they choose to share with me.

Recent review

Karee is the kind of doula who will go the extra mile to support you. I found her just two weeks before I gave birth, and she immediately made sure everything was ready for a safe and positive birth experience. Karee provided gentle, skilled massages before, during, and after birth, which made a world of difference in my comfort and recovery. She also included yoni steaming at no extra cost, such a generous and nurturing touch. I felt supported physically, mentally and emotionally by her. Leading up to birth, she helped me feel prepared and confident. During labor, she stayed right by my side, encouraging me and ensuring I was coping well. Karee held space for all of it, the pain, the overwhelming changes, and the flood of feelings that come with becoming a mother. She truly recognized what I was going through and provide words of wisdom. I have said enough so Karee is the one.

Hello! My name is Laura Rayford and I am a DONA certified birth doula in the Bay Area. I am passionate about guiding birthing people with nurturing and empowering support; working together towards your ideal birthing experience. I have completed two birth doula trainings. One through Hospital Friendly Doulas (which has allowed me to work as a volunteer doula at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley, CA) and the other with Sierra Birth Institute (a training approved by DONA). Both provided me with invaluable information and numerous tools which allow me to confidently support birthing people and their families.Prior to working as a doula, I worked as a nanny for 15+ years. I have always been drawn to working closely with families and giving children the best possible care. For me, this naturally led me to doula work, helping new little people be brought into the world by their capable, brave and extraordinary birthing parent. I am excited and passionate about this work and deeply appreciate your considering inviting me into such a personal and powerful chapter of your life.

Recent review

Laura was an outstanding doula both during the prepartum phase and the delivery. She was very responsive and attentive to our needs. She has shown extreme dedication and passion for the process of delivery, and has provided useful education, all the way through birth. We are so thankful she was there to help us, and has made our delivery as stress free as possible.

Congratulations! My name is Alyssa. I've been a doula since 2013. I became a doula shortly after the birth of my first born when I experienced a tremendous lack of support. I felt alone and isolated and overwhelmed with the contradicting information online. After connecting with other moms within the community, I learned that I wasn't an outlier and this experience was far too common. I studied with Penny Lyon and Ann Pollack in 2013 and became certified with DONA shortly after. Later in 2013, I began working at a local birth center as a midwife assistant to further my medical training. It reaffirmed that I was meant to be a doula serving families within my community. As a certified yoga instructor since 2006, I started integrating Prenatal yoga and doula work. It truly felt like the most comprehensive way to support families by bringing them affective and age old tools to cope with labor pains. Since 2013, I've proudly served over 1000 families. I'm the co-founder of In Joy Birth, a doula training company/agency located in Orlando, Florida. In 2023, I moved my family to the greater Denver area to be close to the mountains where I am currently serving families. I'm passionate about continuing education and am currently working on finishing my Pediatric Sleep Consulting certification. I'm also BLS/CPR certified, and Carrot approved. I work with only one family at a time so that I can provide individualized care to each one of my families.

Recent review

Alyssa was a part of my dream team for all 3 births of my boys. My husband and I knew we wanted a small intimate birth in a hospital with only our doula, Dr/midwife and the nurses on shift. Each birth, Alyssa supported my husband by telling him how to help me so I was able to stay focused on my labor. I truly feel because of Alyssa and my other dream team members I was able to have 3 beautiful, unmedicated births and recover with no complications. I'm forever grateful for Alyssa's love and support during my birth process as well as support after each birth! She is amazing and you will be so glad to have her by your side during such a vulnerable time.

Hi, I’m Liz Derry Cox, CPM, LM. I’ve been a nurse since 1997 and a licensed midwife and DONA trained doula since 2010, and it has been one of the greatest privileges of my life to walk alongside women and families during pregnancy, birth, and the early postpartum period. I believe pregnancy and birth are normal, healthy life events, and that women deserve care that is both evidence-based and deeply personal. Every family has a unique story, and I strive to make sure each client feels heard, respected, informed, and supported every step of the way. My approach combines the wisdom of midwifery with years of clinical experience. I take time to truly listen, answer questions thoroughly, and help families make informed decisions that align with their values. Whether you’re planning your first baby or have given birth before, my goal is to provide compassionate, individualized care that builds confidence rather than fear. I believe that when women are supported physically, emotionally, and educationally, they are more likely to experience a healthier pregnancy, a positive birth, and a smoother transition into parenthood. It is an honor to be trusted with such an important season of life, and I look forward to supporting your family on that journey. I intentionally limit the total number of families I serve each month across all of my services—including midwifery, doula support, and pregnancy coaching. This allows me to provide unhurried, relationship-based care, be readily available when questions arise, and truly get to know each family I have the privilege of serving. My goal is for you to never feel like just another client, but to feel known, supported, and genuinely cared for throughout your journey.

Liz was absolutely amazing as my midwife during the birth of my first child. Her calm presence and genuine care made the entire experience feel safe and supported. I’ve reached out to her many times since then for guidance on pregnancy, postpartum, nutrition, etc., and she always offers her wisdom with warmth and honesty. In this world where mothers often struggle to feel heard, she has created a special space of comfort, understanding, and compassion ❤️

Hi! Im Chrystal. Thank you for being here! I’m a DONA-certified Birth and Postpartum doula dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to families throughout their birthing journey. Based in Littleton, I share my home with my husband and our beloved Springer Spaniel, Fisher. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Regis University and previously worked as a nurse aide and a midwife’s assistant, experiences that shaped my deep respect for both clinical care and the natural wisdom of birth. I began working as a doula in 2022, earned my certification in 2023, and have since had the honor of supporting more than 100 families. I have attended births of all varieties including home births, VBACs, cesarean, unmedicated, assisted, and more. Outside of birth work, I love spending time outdoors; identifying plants, hiking, camping, or simply walking with Fisher. I love the warmth from the sun and the sound of birds, they give me life! You’ll often find me enjoying a cup of tea with a good book, exploring creative outlets, or spending an afternoon wandering through Barnes&Noble or World Market. My guilty pleasure is rewatching media I’ve already seen and love, or rereading old books that I can’t forget. I like to think of my role as a consultant, advocate, and fairy godmother all in one. I support you in achieving your dream birth by offering continuous physical and emotional care, helping you maintain informed consent, and empowering your instincts while holding space for this incredible experience. I also work closely with your partner, giving them the confidence and tools to provide meaningful emotional and physical comfort. I value organization, timely communication, and nonjudgmental care. My goal for my clients is a labor that feels peaceful, informed, and joyful. In the labor room, my focus is always on my client’s comfort and their overall goals for birth. I prioritize finding the balance between letting labor unfold naturally and offering suggestions when they can truly make a positive difference. I often joke that just because I know Spinning Babies doesn’t mean I’m going to “flip you like a pancake”—those tools are there when they’re needed, not as a default. To me, your intuition is VIP, and medicine is a powerful tool we can use when it supports your safety and your vision. Past clients have mentioned my calm, reassuring presence and my soothing voice helping to ground them in intense moments. When helping families get acclimated at home in the first few weeks, my focus is on ensuring that my clients get off on the right foot. I prioritize guiding both parents and baby through the new life they are adjusting to, helping build structure and workflows that work for each individual family. My top two favorite parts of attending births are feeling like I have helped, and the look on your face when you realize; “I DID IT!” Thanks again for being here and congratulations!

In November 2025 my beautiful daughter Amanda came into the world and the whole pregnancy I asked God to allow me to have a non-medicated, respected and as physiological birth as possible. Thanks to the support that Chrystal gave me from my third trimester I was able to reposition my baby in the uterus for a vaginal delivery and learn to breathe correctly, a resource that changed the game during my delivery. During labor Chrystal assisted me with pain management techniques and I was able to have my baby without the need to use an epidural as I longed for. She made my husband and me a team, she made us feel safer and more accompanied. He also took photos of us that I will treasure forever, very beautiful. If I have another child I will want to count on her again. Do not hesitate to contact her.

Hello everyone, my name is Jenn. I'm a certified birth and postpartum doula serving the Denver metro area. I have always been drawn to birth work and I've chosen to practice as a doula because I believe every person deserves to feel heard, respected, and prepared throughout their birthing journey, regardless of what life path you're on. I'm committed to empowering you to advocate for yourself and your baby, encourage you to attain the birthing experience you want and be there every step of the way to empathize and validate your emotional journey.

Discovering I was pregnant at the young age of 19 in January of 2023 was a daunting realization, as it wasn't part of my immediate plans. Uncertainty clouded my thoughts, but I knew I needed guidance regardless of the decision my partner and I made. That's when Jenn stepped in. From the onset of my pregnancy journey, Jenn provided unwavering support, extending beyond childbirth. She offered exceptional advice on nutrition, prepared me for the birthing process, and most importantly, empathized with my emotional journey, understanding my desires for both myself and my child. During labor, Jenn remained a constant presence, offering guidance through every step. From walking the hospital corridors to assisting with pain relief methods and ensuring optimal posture through breathing techniques. Her swift response to my hospital admission due to preeclampsia exemplified her dedication. After 11 hours of labor and 14 minutes of pushing, my beautiful daughter entered the world, and any apprehensions about being a young, first-time mother faded in that moment of pure connection. Jenn's reassuring words were a beacon of strength throughout, reminding me of my capabilities even in moments of doubt. Reflecting on my birthing experience, I am filled with gratitude for Jenn's support. I wholeheartedly endorse her as an exceptional doula, and I am grateful for the opportunity to relive that transformative journey in my mind because of her.

Greetings! I'm Karisa Totah, a certified birth doula and postpartum doula (through DONA International). I'm also Spinning Babies trained and a Body Ready Method certified Pro. I live in Littleton, CO with my husband, near my best friend and her babies. I serve the Denver Metro area, usually within 25 miles of my home. Birth, babies, and parenting have been a life-long fascination of mine, even since I was little. I nerd-out over the smallest baby and birth details and absolutely adore helping and learning from each new family I meet. I firmly believe that both the research and my experience support the idea that doulas reduce anxiety. The birthing year can be such a stressful one if you don't know what to expect, don't have the support you need, and don't have people watching out for you. I love filling in the gap to educate and empower, support and love, encourage and help you find joy in this journey. My motto is: "Replacing anxiety with courage, fear with knowledge, discouragement with hope, and overwhelm with joy."

I want to take a moment to share just how grateful we are for our doula, Karisa someone who has become one of the most important people in our entire journey to becoming parents. From the very beginning, she showed a level of patience, compassion, and understanding that is rare to find in this world. During my wife’s pregnancy, my father was dying, and I spent a lot of time out of state. By the time he passed, I had only two months to prepare myself to become a dad emotionally, mentally, and practically. It was one of the hardest periods of my life, and Karisa stepped in with the kind of guidance and support I didn’t even know I needed. She taught me everything I needed to know with kindness and positivity. She motivated me, encouraged me, and made me feel capable at a time when I was overwhelmed. She didn’t just show up as a doula she showed up as a leader, a teacher, and someone who genuinely cared about our family. When the day finally came for our son to be born, Karisa was absolutely incredible. She was on point from the first moment, bringing calm, clarity, reassurance, and real hands-on expertise. She made every part of the birth easier, more comforting, and more understandable. I truly cannot imagine going through that experience without her. She played such a big part in making the birth of our son a beautiful, positive, and empowering moment. And her support didn’t end there. After our son arrived, she stayed with us for many hours, helping, teaching, explaining, and making sure mama was taken care of. Her presence brought so much peace and confidence during a time where everything was brand new and overwhelming. Karisa didn’t just help with a pregnancy and a birth — she helped shape one of the most important chapters of our lives. She kept everything on track from the very beginning, helped us grow into our roles, and gave us the tools and support we needed when we needed them most. We are forever grateful for her. She truly is the best. 💙

Having Carson as my doula had a massively positive effect on my pregnancy and delivery experiences. She provided me with educational resources and was always available to answer my questions and to calm my fears. I started my pregnancy not having the confidence to give birth unmedicated, but she continually supported me and helped me realize that I could do it. She was instrumental in helping me have a positive labor and delivery experience. I felt more in control with her there, since I knew she would make sure my wishes were being followed even when I couldn’t speak for myself. She also checked in with me after I gave birth to see if I had any questions or needed any help navigating life as a new mom. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is pregnant. Carson is a truly gifted doula.

First, I am a Christian; a follower of Jesus, and I believe in the miracle of life and the privilege of pregnancy, birth and motherhood as a natural and normal process. I am a certified birth doula through DONA International. My experience has been on the labor & delivery floor at Denver Health as a volunteer and staff doula, and I have supported 6 private births in the past year. I am looking to gain more experience as a private doula, specifically in the birth center and home birth settings, that is why I do not list hospital births as an option. In my private business I'm interested in working with women and their families that want to put in the work required to have an empowering and positive natural childbirth experience when there is no option for an epidural. By that I mean those who have taken classes such as Lamaze, Birthing from Within, Hypnobirthing and Hypnobabies or watched videos on natural childbirth from sources like Bridget Teyler or Mama Natural on YouTube. In addition , those that are committed to the regular exercises, routines and preparations that I believe are necessary for a birthing experience that won't leave you feeling traumatized. That's not to say a woman cannot decide on a natural experience, do no prep work and still have a positive birth without an epidural, because I've seen it happen, but it's rare. If you want to put in the work for a pregnancy and birth that will change how you understand yourself, your health inside and out, and give you a life long dose of empowering confidence that only the miracle of life can provide than please consider me as your doula to support that journey. I am happy to support families with multiple prenatal visits, birth, and a postpartum visit at the time of your choosing. Thank you for your consideration and congratulations!

I truly can't imagine my birth without Ali. One of my favorite memories is when she first arrived at our house in early labor. I had already been laboring on my own for a few hours and was in the bathtub when she walked in carrying tea light candles and a lavender diffuser. She looked around, smiled, and said, "Wow, this is gorgeous." It seems like such a small moment, but it immediately made me feel like I was exactly where I needed to be. Her calm, grounding presence changed the whole atmosphere. She stayed with me through every contraction for about five hours at home, helping me find my rhythm and guiding me so gently that I completely lost track of time. She timed contractions, offered comfort measures at just the right moments, and helped us know when it was time to head to the birth center. My labor ended up lasting 24 hours and took several unexpected turns—from home, to the birth center, and eventually the hospital for pain relief and support with a prolonged labor. Through every transition, Ali was a steady, reassuring presence. One moment I'll never forget was when plans changed at the hospital. We'd hear what the doctor had to say, and then I'd instinctively lock eyes with Ali and my partner, looking for reassurance that we were making the right decision. Just meeting her eyes gave me so much peace. The nurses and medical staff clearly enjoyed working with her, and she helped us feel like a true team. She also came to our home a couple of weeks after the birth to process the experience together, which meant so much. Looking back, I feel incredibly satisfied with my birth experience, and I know Ali played a huge role in that. I truly feel bonded with her forever and will always be grateful for her compassion, wisdom, and unwavering support. Hiring her was one of the best decisions we made.

I'm a licensed homebirth midwife serving Boulder, Longmont, the Peak-to-Peak and Northern Colorado. I've been attending births since 2001 and launched my midwifery practice in 2009. I'm an Enneagram 3; Capricorn Sun, Libra Moon & Libra Rising; and Empress Tarot archetype. When I work with families in the perinatal time, we engage in a soul-level contract together. I love holding space as women go deeply within and are transformed by the sacred space of birth. I value informed decision-making, critical thinking, connection, and hugs. Learning and sharing knowledge brings me joy. I'm trained in several Bodywork modalities: craniosacral and myofascial release, and the Arvigo techniques of Maya abdominal therapy. It's a great honor to teach at birth conferences and lead classes & workshops in my community. I bring extensive knowledge of herbs, homeopathy, flower essences and nutritional supplements. Being truly holistic, I also use conventional medicine when indicated. I'm a married mother of two home-birthed and naturally raised children. I'm also an herbalist, gardener, hiker and rollerblader.

Adrienne is an incredible human and midwife -- we are eternally grateful we found her! She is supportive, warm, wise, funny, relatable, patient, knowledgable, and grounded. We had a dream water birth at home! And a great start with our newborn baby boy. We used a different midwife with our daughter and the difference was so vast -- Adrienne made me feel so supported and safe, and I know that helped us have the birth we desired. I also loved all the little touches Adrienne did, like postpartum snack mixes for digestion, the "closing the bones" ceremony at 6 weeks, and the placenta art just to name a few. I wish we were having another baby and that we could work with Adrienne again!
