I’m Sherilee Peters, the owner and founder of Baby Nest Birth Services. For over 18 years, I have been supporting parents in having empowering birth and postpartum experiences. Growing up on a recreational farm in Canada, I watched animals give birth from a young age, which gave me my first realization of how natural the birth process could be. I am a mother of two, a Birth & Postpartum Doula, a Bradley Method Birth instructor, and a certified placenta specialist serving the Vancouver, WA, and Portland, OR areas.

Maria is a labor and postpartum doula. She is from Mexico and the postpartum care that she provides is rooted in her traditional culture. She is also a nurse graduated in her natal country. When I first started in the business of helping people I worked as an alcohol and drug counselor at a residential treatment facility. I worked with and guided people from very diverse backgrounds. That work has directly applied to my ability to effectively communicate with and support others. After my time as a counselor I co-founded and currently co-own a personal training business that specializes in training folks who are pregnant and postpartum. Becoming a doula seemed like a natural next step as an extension of what I'm already passionate about doing: helping and empowering people.

As a professional Doula, my philosophy is to provide unbiased support to ALL family dynamics that hire me for support. I meet families exactly where they are at with evidence based education, and create space for my clients to be their own advocates. I've served hundreds of families over the course of my career and enjoy teaching childbirth education, infant feeding support, supporting high risk/high anxiety clients, and VBAC birth support. Hello, my name is Breanna Calder and I am a certified Birth and Postpartum Doula as well as Reiki Master located in south Keizer, OR. My interest in birth work started when my own children were born and I have been enamored with the magic that is childbirth ever since. It is my highest purpose to serve and uplift others. Hello everyone, my name is Jennifer and I am a birth doula and Childbirth educator. I am also a bodywork specialist who does energy work. I am trained in Reiki and reflexology and while I was in massage school I took classes in pregnancy massage and labor massage. As a birth worker my passion is to help in the bonding of the family no matter what your family looks like if it is just mother and baby, partner, spouse, or even a family member I am there to help you find your voice and ease your journey as it plays out. Sometimes we want to think we can control what our birth will look like but the little bundle inside doesn't always listen and so I want to be there to help everyone involved reach the goal. My main passion is in continuous care. I left the nursing world after seeing the effects it had on laboring women and families having to build that rapport with the care team each appointment, shift changes and I did not like that. I want to be there with your family from start to finish, one less thing to worry about and one more thing to gain comfort in.

I am a trauma-informed and gender affirming birth worker in Marion County, Oregon, providing a range of parenting support packages. I am a firm believer in parenting intuition and that each of us already holds many of the answers that we need. In May of 2022 Camille became a certified Labor Doula and then added a certification in Postpartum and Infant Care in February of 2023. My love of childbirth was ignited after the birth of my first daughter.  I was blessed with continuous support during my own birth experience and knowing the difference it made for me, I was inspired to be a part of a community of women helping each other through the most transformative and empowering moment of their lives.  My journey began focused on midwifery; however, after learning of doula work and the direct, personal impact it can have on a woman’s birth story, I knew this path was a better fit for me.  As a student of Mother Tree Birth Services, I completed a DONA approved birth doula training in 2014, followed by a 6-month intensive birth doula internship. I support all types of birth in all settings. I’m trained in Hypnobirth, the Mongan Method as well as traditional natural birth methods in addition to planned epidural birth. Hello, friend! My name is Josie and I have been a Birth Doula since 2019. My goal as your Doula is to help you have the most satisfying birth experience possible by supporting you physically, emotionally, and educationally. As your Doula I will help you advocate for yourself so that you feel both seen and heard by the medical staff, I will help support you physically as you progress in labor, and I will be there as an encouragement and champion for you and your partner throughout your journey. I love pampering women in labor, but I'm also there to be a Doula to the partner/spouse because we all know it's a team effort. My goal is never to replace your labor support, but rather add to, direct, and encourage them. I love to craft, make jokes, cuddle my toddler when he lets me, read books, and wander throughout Oregon’s woods and coastlines.
