I can't say enough good things about Lindzee! I hired her as a postpartum doula after I had a bad experience with my birth doula who never even followed up for my postpartum care. Lindzee was like a little fairy doula. Every time I turned around my water cup was refilled or something was done I didn't even think to ask her to do. It was amazing. She did day and night shifts in the first month. She was extremely helpful. I even used her again for one night when my daughter was 5 months old and went through a sleep regression. It was so refreshing and helpful compared to my bad doula experience. I highly recommend her!

I have 3 years of experience under my belt as a doula and lactation peer counselor. I have supported hospital, birth center, and home births. I attended the first annual Returning from the Stars conference hosted by the Center for Indigenous Midwifery and completed their Indigenous doula training. I also began a part time position aiding Spokane Tribal Network in supporting local Indigenous doulas, such as myself. We loved our experience with Sierra! From the first meeting her demeanor was warm and friendly, we were able to meet at a local coffee place and just chat initially and she really made it a comfortable experience. From answering late night texts and phone calls about general pregnancy symptoms, to birthing positions, to helping me with breast feeding postpartum, her knowledge and expertise has been priceless. She was very present for my labor and helped reexplain things the doctors were saying when I couldn’t quite process during contractions. It was wonderful to have another support other than my husband during labor, as well as someone willing to take photos so my husband could just focus on me. If you’re on the fence about having a doula I couldn’t recommend it enough! If we were ever to have another child in the future we wouldn’t hesitate to reach out to Sierra again.

My experience with Bridgette was fantastic. My main reason for using a doula was I wanted someone in the birth room to be a fierce advocate while I was medicated and in pain and unable to advocate for myself. She was that and so much more. I had to push for 4 hours to get my little one out after already being in labor for 18 hours. The doctor said I was close to needing the vacuum to get her out and I credit Bridgette's knowledge, encouragement of frequent position changes while pushing and encouragement to keep hydrated and nourished with clear liquids to why I was able to get my little one out without the vacuum. Another thing that was a great help was giving my overwhelmed partner guidance on the best ways of helping me and keeping him calm and involved in a stressful situation. In addition to that she got the BEST pictures of the delivery while respecting the fact I didn't want any from the angle you could see my more intimate areas. I'll cherish those pictures forever. My birth was a beautiful wonderful experience. I have to credit part of it to luck but the majority of it to Bridgette.
