It was during my third birth, with the help of a doula, that I witnessed firsthand the power of continuous, compassionate care — not just for me, but for my husband, who was able to show up as the hero of our story. I am a 25 year old mother of two, and my journey into becoming a doula is deeply rooted in my own birth experiences. I’ve had both a hospital birth and two unassisted, natural home births, which gave me a well-rounded perspective on how powerful and capable women are when they feel supported, safe, and heard.
