Cari Walters

6 years of experience

Thank you for taking a minute to learn more about me! My name is Cari Walters. After an eight year battle with infertility, including a full year of testing, medications, and numerous hospital visits, I started my own mom Journey. My husband was deployed to Iraq for the birth of our first child. I would have been all alone if it wasn’t for the close-knit military wives (and occasionally my mom who lived out of state) that encircled me during this precious time. If it wasn’t for these women loving on me and advising me before, during, and after my birth, I know it would not have been such a positive experience. I knew at once that I wanted to support and love other moms in the same manner. I started out supporting new moms by being a part of a group called MOPS. My husband returned from war and shortly after we were blessed with a second baby without all the fertility trials. I continued working with moms through the MOPS organization as we moved across the country to Colorado. It was there that I met a beautiful friend and fellow MOPS mentor who introduced me to being a doula. In 2020, after taking the 200hr course with 75hrs of clinical work I began my journey as a full spectrum doula. I absolutely love birth and postpartum work but quickly learned that I really shined on the postpartum side of birth work. I concentrated on obtaining my Newborn Care Specialist certification and Sleep Guide Certification to improve and round out my skills as a postpartum doula.

Cari has been wonderful to work with. Highly recommend. She is very professional, supportive & knowledgeable. She always arrives on time, maybe even a little early. I appreciate that she always leaves a note recapping the night with how much the LO ate, diapers & any comments on sleep or suggestions. My animals also loved Cari and the extra late night pets!

Sidni Keaton

12 years of experience

Hi, I’m Sidni! 🤍 I’m a Certified Newborn Care Specialist and professional childcare provider with over 12 years of experience caring for babies and young children, with a special focus on newborn and infant care. I provide overnight newborn care for families who want to rest and recover while knowing their baby is being cared for by an experienced, dependable professional. Whether you’re preparing to welcome your first baby, adjusting to life with multiples, or simply realizing that functioning on very little sleep isn’t sustainable, I’m here to make those early weeks a little easier. During overnight care, I can assist with: • Feeding and burping • Diapering and soothing • Breastmilk and bottle-feeding support • Washing and preparing bottles • Baby laundry and other infant-related tasks • Newborn logs and tracking feeds, sleep, and diapers • Establishing developmentally appropriate routines • Safe sleep practices • Overnight care for singletons and twins My approach is warm, calm, and judgment-free. I understand that every baby—and every family—is different, so I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to newborn care. I work alongside parents and follow their preferences while bringing professional newborn knowledge and hands-on experience into the home. One of my favorite parts of this work is walking into a home with exhausted new parents and being able to say, “I’ve got the baby tonight. Go get some sleep.” 🤍 I am Newborn Care Specialist certified and Pediatric CPR/First Aid certified, and I bring extensive professional childcare experience into every contract. I’m currently accepting 2027 overnight newborn care contracts and would love to hear about your family, your due date, and the kind of support you’re looking for. Send me a message and tell me a little about your growing family—I’d love to see if we’re a good fit! Sidni Keaton Care LLC Supporting families from the very first night.

I was overall impressed not only by the fact that she is very attentive with my child but she actually cares as well. She has a certificate as a newborn specialist and I have learned so much from her. She’s very reliable and I love the fact that she’s never on her phone. (Our last sitter was always on her phone) The only reason she is available is because I’m moving. If not, I would never have let her go!!

Hi friend! I am one of the co-founders of The Village Doulas, a group of birth work and child care experts. We aim to create a village around all parents to help them thrive. My background is in Pediatric Nursing and special education, ranging from wellness pediatric care to a specialized ventilator unit, I have seen a lot! I have known for a long time it is my calling and blessing to help others raise their babies. I believe all of my experiences led me to be doing that as a doula today! I can't wait to get to know you!

I started thinking about hiring a night nurse or nanny before I even got pregnant again, but never in a million years did I think I would actually meet someone I felt like I could truly trust with my baby (especially after suffering severe postpartum anxiety with my first) - that was until I met with Kinsey. I immediately felt a connection with her and after chatting for a bit, knew without a doubt I could count on her to care for my baby. Not only did she have the right background, but hearing her “why” behind starting this business helped seal the deal for me. Kinsey truly has a passion for not only caring for babies, but us mamas as well. After Kinsey left our interview, my husband and I decided to sign a 6 week contract with her. During those 6 weeks, she was unavailable for 2 of them due to traveling (this was disclosed ahead of time during our meeting). She let me know she had a couple other options for us to cover for her during that time, although she was the only pediatric RN. Kinsey knew how much this put me at ease, and she even asked if I wanted to meet one of her colleagues at her doctors office to cover for her, which I thought was very thoughtful! However, I decided I would still like to meet her business partner, Kati and see how I felt. Fast forward to my meeting with Kati, and once again, the moment I met her I felt an instant trust and connection. It was within minutes that I knew I could count on her to cover for Kinsey while she was out of town. 6 weeks later, our contract was up and we decided to renew with Kinsey for an additional month. Of course, shortly after signing, our little guy decided he wanted to pretty much sleep through the night (which I also attribute to Kinsey helping with)! While this was amazing for us, it was also a little frustrating as we juuuust extended our contract. However, Kinsey made sure we were still benefitting from her services at this time. She was not only flexible when it came to days/times, but she helped me with so many projects on my to-do list that I just could never get to caring for a toddler and a newborn - and she put genuine effort and thought into the help too! She helped me with an amazing toy rotation/organization system for my toddler, meal prepped quick and easy meals and snacks for her that I could freeze, and even helped me update all of our photo frames in the living room. Whether she was doing overnight sleep care or something else for us, she truly wanted to make sure she was helping to make this postpartum period as stress free as possible for us as a family. I truly believe that because of Kinsey (and Kati), I escaped postpartum anxiety fueled by lack of sleep this time around. I was able to truly enjoy the newborn stage as a well rested mom without feeling utterly exhausted for months on end like I did the first time around. I was able to wake up feeling refreshed and ready to actually enjoy the day with both my newborn and my 2 year old. My husband and I weren’t snapping on each other from being so tired and waking up all night with a fussy baby. While I know it is a bit of a luxury to be able to hire this kind of help, it is worth every.single.penny. Whether you already have the funds to do it or you have to make certain sacrifices to do it, I’d recommend Kinsey and her services a MILLION times over. You just can’t put a price on rest and mental health (especially during those first few months) and having someone you can truly trust to care for your baby is priceless. 10/10 would recommend Kinsey and The Village Doulas.

Jasmine is a wonderful Midwife. I’ve worked with her on mini homebirths. She really takes the mother’s medical care to heart. She listens to the mother’s concerns questions and requests and meets them how she can. I recommend Jasmine Wagster as a homebirth Midwife for a safe and healthy delivery.
