My path has been anything but straight, but every turn taught me something I now bring to the families I support. I’ve done it all: built a career in sales and operations, raised four kids on my own, survived chaos, career shake-ups, and hot flashes … and came out stronger (and funnier) for it. Somewhere between climbing ladders and late-night feedings, I realized what truly fills me up: helping women feel capable, calm, and confident in their own transitions. Now, as a certified labor, delivery, and postpartum doula, I use science, intuition, and lived experience to support families through birth and beyond. Hello, my name is Jane Boyakjon, and I am a birth doula based in Highland, Michigan. I’ve been interested in birth and working with mothers since my internship with a local pregnancy center in high school. I considered being a doula for several years during college before getting my training in September of 2024. I am passionate about helping pregnant women release fear associated with birth, and help them prepare for it as much as possible.
