Hi! I am planning on giving birth on Overlake Hospital on Bellevue. We do not have a set birth plan, would love someone who can speak spanish. This is my first pregnancy.
Hi! I’m currently looking for a doula and wanted to share a bit about what I’m hoping for. As a first-time mom, I’m looking for someone with strong labor and delivery experience who can help guide both me and my partner through the process. I’m planning for a likely medicated birth, so I’d love a doula who is supportive of that approach and can help me navigate my options while still advocating for my preferences. It’s really important to me to have someone who can provide both emotional and physical support during labor, as well as offer solid education leading up to delivery so we feel prepared and confident.
I hope to give birth in a birth center (still looking into one), out of pocket budget for a doula and potentially chiropractor/pelvic floor specialist is ideally no more than $2-4k. Would love a certified doula who has multiple years of experience (as well as certified chiropractor and pelvic floor specialist if my budget/insurance allows), English as primary language. This is my second pregnancy and I am 20 weeks, I am late in the game to look for these specialists because I am just now deciding against a hospital birth this time around. I am 25 years old, mother to a 14 month old, and a devoted Christian (would love a Christian doula). I am not seeking any other help besides a birth doula and other physical specialists if feasible.
-hospital -still deciding -unknown budget at this time
I would love to do a home birth but there is a lot of controversy and doubt so I am undecided. My husband is a general surgeon at Samaritan hospital in Moses lake, WA. I am establishing care with an OB locally. I have no idea what a reasonable budget is but it would be great to find someone who is covered by our insurance which is Aetna. I would love to find someone who is experienced in both home and hospital births but especially orgasmic or pleasurable birth.
A birth doula a child birth educator
I am giving birth at Foothills Midwifery. My official due date is August 4, 2026, but I have always been early by 10-15 days. I need my insurance plan accepted which is the Community Health Plan of Washington. I want a holistic approach and full support during labor and delivery and for some time afterwards as well. I would like my spouse and 3 other children to be involved as well if possible.
