Pregnancy, birth, and babies...I love it all! I see the birth process as a huge opportunity for growth and healing. This is an opportunity for the birthing person to communicate with their body and find their own intuitive & unique way of birthing. This is not just a mother experience but a parent experience, I love getting the partners involved. I am also a massage therapists and birth photographer. Massage during labor can be so helpful and amazing and I love capturing the sweet moments between a couple and meeting your baby! One of my more recent educational experiences is Cranial Sacral Therapy for Infants. I love working with the babies!

Let me start by saying that I NEVER leave reviews unless I was really moved by something. Joleen is such an incredible doula, words can't express enough how much support she provided during my birth experience. She actually cares about her clients and the outcome they desire. I highly recommend having a doula who is also a massage therapist-- a damn good one at that-- I had extreme back labor and needed counter pressure every single contraction. She was with me for 9 or 10 hours and never gave up! She had me move into countless different positions to get my baby to move down and out, and I never felt like we ran out of things to try. My husband was skeptical of hiring a doula at first, but was so thankful that we had her help and that it wasn't all on him after it was all said and done. šŸ˜‰ I attribute my going natural 100% on the team of people I had with me that day; I would have caved and got an epidural if it was just me and the hubby. My midwife was even complimenting her on how much she was doing to help me! Joleen's gentle guidance was everything. I highly recommend her to anyone who is going to give birth, but especially those who want to have a natural birth!! Having that extra support could really make or break your experience. ā¤

I have hands-on experience from caring for infants as young as 6 weeks old to supporting school-aged kids up to 12 years old. My background includes working in a daycare setting as well as providing personalized care as a nanny, which has given me a strong foundation in nurturing, supporting, and engaging children of all ages. I’m also currently working toward my doula certification, which reflects my passion for supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My goal is to bring both professional knowledge and compassionate care to the families I work with. I look forward to connecting and supporting families in a way that makes them feel seen, supported, and cared for.

In my experience, working with Bre was wonderful! She is kind, patient and hardworking! She works really well with kids of all ages, but especially the age range of 0-2. I noticed she really builds a bond and connection with them. She is very reliable, as well. I would recommend her 10 times out of 10! She has extensive knowledge about babies and toddlers, and even helped me to learn new parenting techniques to try with my children! Our family loves and misses her dearly.

I believe everyone deserves and needs physical and emotional support during birth and I’d be honored to be a tool in helping you achieve the labor you deserve.

I just delivered a baby as a gestational carrier on Feb 4, 2024 and I may be biased, but my wife Brianna was an amazing doula! This was her second delivery and she provided me with tools to help me with pain management and techniques to help get labor going. This was my first unmedicated delivery and I believe Brianna helped to prep my mind and body for a smooth natural birth. I used some of those techniques to naturally induce my labor and I went into labor with 48 hrs. I believe the teas and other techniques helped me have a quick labor that only lasted 4 hours from start to finish and those teas, stretches, dates, etc helped so that I did not tear. She had given me tips to try and prevent tearing and to naturally induce labor that worked perfectly and I had my best and easiest labor even with it being my first unmedicated delivery.

Having trained as a Doula and Prenatal Yoga Instructor in Washington, D.C., I gained valuable experience supporting mothers in fast-paced medical settings where advocacy and informed decisions are essential. Now based in Utah, I use these skills to create calm and positive birth environments where mothers feel heard, supported, and empowered to create the birth experience of their dreams.

Recent review

Mary Alice was with me every step of the way: in my pregnancy, during labor, and postpartum. I came to our first meeting a bit nervous about my upcoming labor. She was able to quell my fears and support me in putting together a birth plan that I felt comfortable with. My husband and I left the meeting feeling confident and looking forward to the birth. During my pregnancy, she was a wonderful guide in answering any questions that I had. When I began laboring, Mary Alice provided the guidance and support that put me at ease. She was able to advocate for me in the hospital and give me the needed information to understand the choices placed before me by hospital staff. Her words of encouragement and coaching were exactly what I needed. She is truly gifted! She is clear in her communication and knowledgeable in this role. Couldn't have asked for a better doula!

After the birth of my second child, I found myself struggling with postpartum depression. Even though I had a good support system, there were many factors at play that left me feeling depressed, anxious, and like I wasn't a good mom.Ā  Thankfully, I was able to receive appropriate care and I was soon feeling better! I felt so incredibly loved and held as I did the work to recover. Because of the wonderful support I experienced from the birth and postpartum world, I decided to transition from my former career of 16 years as a veterinary technician. I am currently in the process of becoming certified as a postpartum doula through CAPPA and I am so excited to continue supporting the new families in my community!

Meredith is a certified birth doula, postpartum doula, certified women’s hormone specialist, cycle + fertility coach, menstruation educator, and mother to three amazing kids, ages 7, 5 and 3. She loves everything about the menstrual cycle–hormones, menstruation, fertility, birth, postpartum, and menopause. She loves teaching women (and families) how to use their cycle to balance their lives (and their hormones) and accomplish their goals for growing their family, or not. But Birth has a special place in Meredith’s heart. She came to birth work on a Thursday afternoon driving home from her Human Resources job. She was complaining about her job to her sister and her sister’s response was, ā€œyou should go be a Doulaā€. What’s a Doula? After her sister explained what a Doula does, a voice inside of her said, ā€œI was born to do thatā€. She was in Doula training the next month and she has never looked back. She loves being with families and witnessing their growth and transformation as they move through the birth and postpartum process. Meredith excels at supporting families through natural/unmedicated birth both in and out of the hospital, and a lot of her clients have great results from her support in delaying medication so that it supports their labor rather than hinders it. Meredith is passionate about families knowing their options, preparing well, and tapping into the spiritual nature of the birth process to create an empowering experience. Additionally, she excels at assisting families to set up healthy rhythms for maximized nighttime sleep, feeding and bonding postpartum.

Meredith is an amazing doula! She assisted with our birth and my husband and I felt that we would have been lost without her. She maintained boundaries/wishes, was super knowledgeable and provided such a calming presence and emotional support! She had a great sense of humor and really added positivity to our birth experience.

I believe in the power of holistic support—whether it’s offering emotional encouragement, practical assistance, or simply being a steady presence. My goal is to create a calm, supportive environment where both parents and babies feel safe and cared for, allowing families to thrive during the birthing experience and beyond.

Kylee was the most amazing doula I have ever had! I would pay her prices any day to have her! She was always so quick to answer any questions I had. The day of the labor she showed up so quick I couldn’t believe it! If I didn’t have her support during the labor I don’t know what I would have done. She helped me with counter pressure and tens unit that was a total game changer! I dilated all the way to a 7 with her help before I got the epidural! Her class was also the best! I’m so glad my husband and I could go together and feel so prepared for our labor. She was the best support and I felt instantly connected to her on our first intro call through zoom! Even though I didn’t know her that well I felt so comfortable around her! I would highly recommend Kylee and I tell all my pregnant friends about her and her class! Hypnobabies also really helped me have a great mind set for my labor!

I am a proud boy mom to three wonderful boys who will someday change the world. I am an Army Medic and EMT. I love helping people, but felt called to develop my passion for birth work after my second child was born in the height of COVID during an amazing home birth. I have learned that there is so much to be honored in pregnancy, the birthing space, and the postpartum period, and I love being able to help families feel empowered and supported during those transitions.

My name is Bailey Howell, and I am a certified Postpartum and Infant Care Doula, as well as a pre-certified Labor Doula! I recently graduated from Utah State with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies and realized that I have a huge passion for strengthening family relationships and bringing more joy into the home. Birth brings a substantial change to a family and my goal is to bring more education and support to new parents in order to make the transition to parenthood easier. I am so excited to work with families in Cache Valley!

Bailey's services made a large impact in my mental and physical well being in early postpartum. I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and I was not able to have assistance from family after the birth of my third baby. She was able to take care of things that I wasn't able to physically (errands, moving boxes, caring for my toddlers, etc). This allowed me to have the rest my body so desperately needed after my C-Section. She also assisted with meal preparation and I am still being blessed with these efforts months later. My children still ask when Bailey is coming to our home and I am grateful Bailey became part of my mothering village.

Hi, I'm Hunter! Im 25 years old and a fierce advocate serving Salt Lake and Utah County. In doing research to prepare myself for future pregnancy I was faced with the sad reality that many people have entered the birth space uninformed and unsupported, with so many voices shouting at them about the "one right way" to give birth and be a parent. Only to leave the birth space scared, in pain, and often traumatized. This reality felt bleak to me so I began my journey learning how to provide advocacy, alignment, and assurance to my clients. I believe everyone should have access to emotional, physical and spiritual support while diving into labor and finding their inner power during birth.

Hi there! I am a DONA trained birth doula and have also been working to help people through injuries and chronic pain as a professional massage therapist for over 12 years now. I gained a passion for birth while making birth plans and creating roles for my own birth team during the birthing chapter of my life with my four cherubs. I was able to birth in various settings. I am all about doing things your way. I believe a woman should strive to have the birth experience she desires. I believe in a well thought out birth plan and in a unified birth team. Though things don't always go just as planned, having one is very empowering. I also have really appreciated the births I have been in where the partner is a strong presence during the birth. The power of a unified couple is not to be diminished. If you choose me to assist your birth, I will be there to help educate, empower, advocate and help you and your partner have an unforgettable bonding experience with each other and your baby. Whether you have a desire to birth at home, at a birth center, in a hospital--with an epidural or hoping to go med free, I will support you in your goals, we will do it "your way". My name is Sherri Gunn and I am one of the owners of Utah Breastfeeding & Tongue Tie center. I am a mom to six kids and had a very different breast-feeding journey with each one. I am passionate about helping others have support and help on their breast-feeding journey. I’m also a Myofunctional therapist so navigating oral restrictions and tethered oral ties is what I do best. I was also a NICU RN for years and have a special love for that population. I’m currently in school to become a family nurse practitioner so my life is a little crazy. If I am not at the clinic or studying or running kids around to various activities or making dinner, you can find me on my pretend farm feeding baby goats.

This is my 4th child that I’ve come seeking help from Sherri! I keep coming back because of the wealth of knowledge from all my variety of issues I’ve experienced while trying to breastfeed each of my children. This time around I have gotten help with how to treat thrush, improve a bad latch by opening up fascia and doing exercises to improve tongue function, and confirming a lip tie to be released and stretches for that as well. I typically struggle with milk supply, so that is another aspect we always cover with each child. I have been helped both during office hours and after hours and I have been grateful for all the support and suggestions and instructions! I would recommend her to anyone needing the help.
