Hey there! I’m Karly, here to help you navigate the wild world of the best job in the world, being a parent! With over 10 years of experience and a passion for helping others. Whether you’re a first-time parent or adding another baby to the family, I’m here to provide the guidance and encouragement you need. When I’m not busy supporting other families as a doula, I am a mom of two amazing kiddos and a wife. Or you may see me assisting in bringing new life into the world as a Labor and Delivery RN. I recently started my journey as a pregnancy, birth, and postpartum Doula. I am also a International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC). After my own struggles with breastfeeding my daughter, I set out to become more educated and trained to help my patients, friends, and family with breastfeeding. I am passionate about getting parents thru the early days with a minimal amount of tears (sorry, there will always be some). If you need tips on latching, positioning, bottle feeding, figuring out pumping schedules, managing clogged ducts or mastitis or just need a support experienced mama in your corner, I’m your gal!

Karly was an amazing doula and lactation consultant for my wife. She went above and beyond and was crucial in helping my wife feel more confident in breastfeeding before leaving the hospital. She was also a very kind and calming presence during labor. We can't thank her enough.

I have been a registered nurse for almost 30 years helping women & their children, including babies in the Intensive Care Nursery at a major urban hospital. Lactation and education have always been a part of my nursing career. As a board certified lactation consultant, I am in network with a vast number of colleagues, who may be consulted with your permission for challenging cases. I believe that breastfeeding is a relationship between a mother and her child, but it is not necessarily without its learning curves, for both mom and baby! If you or your baby are not happy on your breastfeeding journey, please consider making an appointment. I would be honored to help you, and no issue is too small. In fact, moms usually remark, “Why didn’t I do this earlier!” Click on the My Philosophy link to learn more about me.

Peggy was wonderful, I wish I saw her sooner. By time I booked an appointment I was convinced nursing had gone downhill and doubtful we'd recover. Peggy was very calm and thorough, encouraging from the start. She really listened to me and addressed my concerns. She showed me aspects of my baby's anatomy that could potentially be an issue and then did a weighed feed, offering corrections to my technique. She also helped me with pumping and was very patient with all of my questions and my initial disbelief that things were actually ok. I feel far calmer and feedings are shorter now that I don't drag them out thinking I'll get the baby more milk, and the position she showed me helps the baby more efficiently feed too. My baby actually seems happier more often too, I assume because feedings are more comfortable her and I'm more relaxed in general, and when she is upset or cluster feeding I can handle it better as I feel more confident. It's amazing what some minor corrections and encouragement did. I highly recommend Peggy and will go back to her as needed.

Hello! Hello! Most couples are looking for a positive environment where you feel respected, safe, and ready to welcome your new baby. I understand that as your doula I help set the tone and bring energy into your space that will be part of your family's blueprint forever. I have a compassionate, client-centered approach. I bring warmth, love, and extensive knowledge to each family as well as their providers. I bring strong advocacy skills while reducing fear and fostering confidence. I also provide lactation consultations and all modalities of massage including prenatal and postpartum.

Hiring Neisha was one of the best decisions I made as I prepared for childbirth, and I would whole-heartedly recommend her to anyone. While I was initially unsure about whether I wanted to hire a doula, after interviewing Neisha I was convinced that it would be helpful to bring her on to support me and my husband before, during, and after the delivery of our first child, and I was not disappointed. I ultimately had a very positive birth experience, and I credit Neisha for giving me the preparation, knowledge, and validation needed to make informed decisions and clearly communicate my preferences during labor and delivery. Early on, she provided us with ample online resources to begin our childbirth preparation. During our prenatal meetings we developed a birth plan, practiced comfort techniques, and discussed the essentials of breastfeeding and newborn care. Throughout my labor Neisha calmly fielded our increasingly anxious calls about whether to take Pitocin and when to begin the epidural. She was a reassuring presence in the delivery room, suggesting alternative positions and providing encouragement to me and my husband through two hours of pushing. Postpartum, Neisha helped with breastfeeding, and continued to check in for several weeks after the end of our official contract as I dealt with a difficult and unexpected complication. Neisha’s professionalism and expertise combined with her warmth and sense of humor made her an invaluable part of my birth team. I would absolutely hire her again. (PS - she is also an incredible massage therapist!)

Welcome to Mother Trees. I am a Registered Nurse, Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Pre and Perinatal Psychology Educator and Biodynamic CranioSacral Therapist., located in Newcastle, WA. Birthing a new soul is a sacred rite of passage. In our busy world we have forgotten how to be fully present to receive this gift. Unfortunately, most hospital births feel far from empowering or sacred. Deliveries are often induced, creating a faster paced timeline that can make communication between mom and baby more confusing and difficult. Taking time to slow down and listen deeply to your baby, your partner and yourself can be immensely rewarding. It is not what we normally do, so having a guide is helpful. This is the service I’ve been providing to new parents for more than 30 years. I have worked with thousands of breastfeeding families in hospital and home settings. It brings me great joy to provide support and direction during your transition into parenting.

Susan has a natural ability to make you feel at ease, which was exactly what me and my baby needed during a challenging time with feeding. Susan brought a sense of calm into our household when we were at our most stressed and hectic. Susan is not only very knowledgeable but also incredibly empathetic and caring. She took the time to listen to my concerns, answered all my questions with patience, and provided clear, practical guidance along with consistent follow up support. Her gentle, reassuring approach has made me feel supported and empowered throughout my breastfeeding journey. I highly recommend Susan as a lactation consultant!

Tamika was truly exceptional. From the moment we met, her warmth put me completely at ease. I was struggling with milk production after a traumatic delivery, and breastfeeding felt overwhelming. Tamika stepped in with genuine care—making time for me, even doing home visits, and guiding me every step of the way. She would email me notes on our visits with links to websites to help me better with my pumping and whatever else I needed. She was quick to respond to any queries I had about my new born even if it was not related to breastfeeding. She’s incredibly professional but also brings a friendly, comforting vibe that makes you feel supported and understood. She does this work out of love, and it shows in everything she does. It’s rare to find someone so passionate and committed. Her heart is truly in the right place. I honestly don’t know what I would have done without her help. Highly, highly recommend!

Hi Everyone! My name is Grace Hultquist and I’m a Lactation Consultant based out of Warsaw, IN! I travel up to one hour to see patients in the comfort of their own home. I have the privilege of working for Milk Guide where we accept most insurances so families can receive my care at no cost! In addition to working at Milk Guide, I also work at Aeroflow Breast Pumps where I have the pleasure of helping families all over the US! All of the families I work with locally will be through Milk Guide. I have one little man at home that I breastfed for 16 months - the first half pretty traditionally and the 2nd half I actually exclusively pumped for him! No matter where you may find yourself on your lactation journey, I can certainly relate! I can help with any lactation related concern, but particularly love parts of lactation related to TOTs (tethered oral ties), pumping, latching, and prenatal education! Looking forward to helping you meet your feeding goals!

Recent review

Grace was absolutely the support I needed in my breastfeeding journey. She helped me throughout the whole journey. She was knowledgeable about breastfeeding and also helped with baby milestones along the way. She gave tips on what was best for baby in position to help with a better latch, tips on feeding/ pumping throughout the night, how to increase my milk production, breastmilk facts and so much more. She was friendly, personable, supportive and made my breastfeeding journey such a wonderful and memorable bonding experience with my baby. The only thing I would have done differently is connected with her sooner and learn more before I delivered my baby girl.

Hallelujah!! That’s what I shouted when I was finally able to find Beth! She has been with me through two home births and now takes care of my entire family as our Primary. Her prenatal and Homebirth care were amazing, I always felt listened to. Each visit there was respect and connection! I had a lot of opinions on what I wanted and didn’t want and she talked with me about each of them and never tried to force me to change my mind about anything. Even Vaccines!!! Leading up to my homebirths I was intimidated and spoke to her about that, she was able to point me in the right direction for resources and made great recommendations for my specific fears. When it finally came time to have my babies she was exactly the presence I needed. Hands off but there. My husband and I felt absolutely taken care of and safe. She trusted my body and helped me to trust it to. My sons labor was textbook but my daughters labor was all over the place, 1min contractions followed by 15min breaks or 30sec contractions followed by 1min break. Just all over the place. (I know I would have been given pitocin if I was in a hospital.) I was worried but she reassured me that everything was fine and sure enough my daughter came out in the exact same amount of time it took for my son! I had a 15min rest period between contractions right before the last one that got her out. They were both 6hour labors with drastically different contraction cycles and both ended with beautiful births and healthy babies! I adore her middle of the road approach to health care. She gives amazing advice on things to do for sicknesses and different issues without running to medication. Which is very important for us. Even with ADHD issues she’s given me different things to try that I had never thought of. You kind of only think medication but there’s a whole lot we could do if that’s the route you choose. Having a primary that intimately knows my kids and myself is something I thought wasn’t possible at this day and age. We are so blessed to have found her and I feel completely confident that my kids health is the most important not some agenda! We are blessed to have a Primary we COMPLETELY trust that we can run to!

From the start of my career as a Physician Assistant, I was drawn to pediatrics and the mother-baby dyad. My PA journey kicked off on the pediatric ward at Jamaica Hospital in Queens, NY, where I was completely captivated by caring for children and families. Then, life brought me to Central NJ, where I had the opportunity to work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, caring for some of the tiniest, most vulnerable patients. I became a board-certified lactation consultant and was thrilled to offer lactation consultations and make a real difference for new parents and babies. Bringing together my neonatal and pediatric medical experience with lactation and breastfeeding medicine has been incredibly rewarding! I’m proud to be board-certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and the International Board of Lactation Consultant Examiners. But I didn’t stop there—I went on to get a Master's in Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland, and I’ve continued to push myself to learn and grow in every way possible. I’ve trained in advanced bodywork techniques, including craniosacral therapy (CST) through the Upledger Institute and the Barnes Myofascial Release method. I’ve also attended the Oral Habilitation of the Breastfeeding Dyad course three times! Continuing education is a constant for me because I believe there’s always more to learn when it comes to helping families. I have 2 locations, in Edison and Brick, NJ and have focused on creating a collaborative practice which includes other specialists as well. Whether it’s kayaking, biking, or tending to our organic and medicinal garden, my family and I like finding new ways to stay active and connected with nature.

Hi, I’m Amanda! Mama of 2 boys, Registered Nurse, Childbirth Educator, IBCLC and Sleep Consultant! I have over 10 years experience in Maternal Child Health, including labor and delivery, postpartum support, and pediatric care. My own personal struggles of entering into motherhood brought my attention to the gaps in the current system as well as the lack of support for mamas and new families which propelled me to share my expertise out in the community. I am committed to providing evidence based information and judgement free support. If you are looking for someone to come alongside you, encourage you, and be a part of your team during this transition, I would be honored to support you!

Amanda saved my breastfeeding journey with both of my children! My first born had an awful latch, causing me so much pain. She helped guide me through options to save my breastfeeding journey and I was able to breastfeed him for 2.5 years. My second born had similar issues as my first, and with Amanda’s help again, we’ve still been able to breastfeed for 19 months. I didn’t sleep train with my first and honestly thought it was not for us, but having a child who hadn’t slept any longer than 3-4 hours in a year, I needed help and was desperate! Her sleep knowledge completely changed my view and gave me hope! She helped get us into a much better sleep routine and I’m happy to say that sleep is 100% better for my child and myself! I recommend her to everyone who needs mama support. I am so thankful for her!
