If you wish to contact me and schedule an appointment, please visit my website https://thelaborlounge.org/contact/ Ines Serna is a mother, childbirth educator, and doula with a Master of Health Sciences in Public Health. She became interested in pregnancy and the birth process after having her first child in 2010. Shortly after, Ines started working for the childbirth education department at a prestigious Bergen County hospital, where she gained a great deal of knowledge about maternity services. After the birth of her second child in 2014, she decided to become a childbirth educator. Through her two birth experiences, she realized that the power of knowledge can have a positive impact on birth outcomes. While working as a childbirth educator at the hospital, Ines saw the necessity of giving additional support to her clients. She has trained with DONA International to obtain all the required skills to assist mothers during the birth process. Ines is dedicated to expanding her knowledge by attending maternal and child health conferences, seminars, and networking with health professionals in the community. Ines’s extensive hospital experience has allowed her to see and understand the need to continue advocating for patient-centered care. She believes a patient’s personal preferences, such as values, cultural traditions, family support, and lifestyles, must be taken into consideration. Ines is passionate about supporting expectant parents by making sure they understand that they have options before, during, and after birth. She firmly believes that EVERY woman deserves a good support network. A network that consists of health professionals, along with family, friends, and, of course, the support of a doula, is the greatest gift parents can experience in their lifetime. Hello! My name is Olivia, and I am an experienced childcare professional with over five years of caregiving experience for children of all ages, including more than three years working professionally as a nanny in NYC/NJ. My recent work has focused primarily on infants, supporting families through feeding, sleep challenges, developmental milestones, and the day to day transitions that come with a growing baby. I am currently completing my training as a Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) and Postpartum Doula (PPD), and I am passionate about supporting families during the early weeks and months of parenthood. I believe every family deserves compassionate, reliable support during this significant life transition. Welcoming a new baby can be joyful, exciting, overwhelming, and exhausting all at once, and my goal is to help parents feel informed, confident, and cared for as they navigate this new chapter. My caregiving philosophy is heavily rooted in kindness, respect, and collaboration. I strive to meet families where they are, support their individual parenting goals, and create a calm, nurturing environment where both parents and babies can thrive. In addition to my nanny experience, I have worked as an assistant teacher in a Level 3 ASD elementary SpEd classroom, and am certified in Adult, Child, and Infant CPR and First Aid. I look forward to supporting families with warmth, professionalism, and evidence-based care during some of life’s most precious moments. I am happy to provide references of former families with infants I have worked with.

Welcome to Yes Doula — A Pleasure-Centered Approach to Birth My name is Letisha McFarlane Hadley, and I am a Certified Orgasmic Birth Doula and the founder of YesDoula.Life, a New Jersey-based TeleHealth doula service dedicated to supporting mothers-to-be around the world. My journey into birth work began at age 21, when I supported my mother through her pregnancy and cesarean birth. Years later, I was honored to support my sister through the births of my nieces. These experiences—alongside my own three empowering and pleasurable births—ignited a deep calling to serve others through the transformative power of birth. Through the Orgasmic Birth Practitioner Program, my perspective shifted profoundly. I came to understand how deeply connected birth is to sensuality, love, and pleasure. Inspired by Debra Pascali-Bonaro’s film Orgasmic Birth: The Best Kept Secret, I embraced a new path: one that reframes birth not as a moment to fear, but as a sacred, embodied experience full of power and joy. At Yes Doula, I offer both virtual and limited in-person services for mothers-to-be seeking epidural-free births, VBACs, or simply a more connected, conscious approach to labor. I work closely with clients—and their partners—to create pleasure-centered birth plans that elevate confidence, reduce anxiety, and honor the wisdom of the body. As a wife of over 10 years and a mother myself, I believe that partners deserve to be just as informed, empowered, and involved as birthing women. Guided by the principles of Pleasure, Experience, Trust, Support, and Knowledge, I am here to help you envision and achieve the birth you truly desire. Now accepting a limited number of in-person clients. Book a free consultation today to learn how we can work together to prepare for your powerful, pleasure-centered birth.

Caitlin comes to Doula work from a background in theatre and physiology. She had fought to understand her own body as she grew up with Developmental Dyspraxia. However, what she always thought of as her greatest weakness, has turned into her greatest strength over the years. As a child every time Caitlin learned a new physical skill she had to break it down step by step for her brain to fully understand it. This gave her a great understanding of human physiology. She applied this understanding of the human body to help numerous clients while working as a personal trainer at Blink Fitness and New York Sports Club. Throughout her life Caitlin was always struck by the distrust of the human body when it came to birth. She had always been fascinated by/or even in awe of birth. During her own journey to having children she finally realized what she wanted to be when she grew up. A Doula. It combined her deep understanding of physiology with her desire to empower people to trust their own bodies, no matter what the birth plan. Caitlin took her DONA training in summer of 2021 and finished the DONA certification process at the end of 2022. Caitlin already has a wide range of experience when it comes to birth. Areas she experienced with include, home birth, hospital birth, birth center care, unmedicated birth, Hypnobirthing, preeclampsia, planned and emergency C-Section, pregnancy resulting from fertility treatment, induction, married and unmarried partners, interracial couples, parents with disabilities, pregnancy with special diets (Vegan, Gestational Diabetes, Kosher ect.) "My goal as a doula is to facilitate a positive birth experience for the growing family, whatever that birth experience may look like. I am happy to work with families with all different types of birth plans, backgrounds and family preferences. It is my strong belief that a Doula should be accessible to all birthing people regardless of gender, sexuality, race, disability, faith, or socioeconomic background."
