TeeJay is an absolute God sent. I met TeeJay through LoveLife Jess. I am a first time single parent who suffer from severe postpartum depression & anxiety after I had my daughter. I didn’t know how to navigate motherhood and didn’t have the strongest or healthiest support system. However, TeeJay has been that support I needed to push through a lot of my fears. We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Autum Rose! From our very first meeting, she immediately put us at ease. She came to our house for our first meeting, stayed over time, and took the time to explain the entire birth process in so much detail. As first-time parents, this was incredibly helpful and made us feel so much more prepared and confident going into our birth. Little did we know, my water would break that very night! Autum was immediately there to guide us through the next steps and answer all of our questions. She met us at the hospital the following day and stayed with us for over 30 hours. She was there through every moment of our labor, even sleeping on a little bench just to be close by and ready whenever we needed her. She came so prepared with massage tools, different labor positions, room spray, shower gel, and so many other little things that made such a difference. She helped us navigate each stage of labor, provided guidance when we needed it, and helped us have informed and empowered conversations when interventions came up. We always felt supported, heard, and cared for. One of the things we are especially grateful for is that Autum also took photos throughout our labor and birth. Having those moments captured is something we will treasure forever, and we are so thankful that she thought to document such an incredibly emotional and meaningful day for our family. Her care didn’t end when our baby was born, either. Our postpartum visit with Autum was so incredibly healing. Having the time and space to sit down and talk through our birth experience with someone who had been there for every moment meant so much to us. She also brought her massage table and worked on me, helping relieve so much of the tension and soreness I had been carrying. It was such a thoughtful and special part of her care, and we left feeling so supported both physically and emotionally. It is so obvious that Autum truly loves what she does. Her care, passion, patience, and dedication shine through in everything she does. She went above and beyond for us in every possible way, and we feel incredibly lucky that she was the person beside us during such a life-changing experience. We are so incredibly grateful for Autum and everything she did for our family. She made us feel safe, informed, supported, and cared for from the very beginning through postpartum. We will 100% be using her again and cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for a doula. She is truly one of a kind! ❤️

"I can not recommend Jenn (Destiny Doula) enough! After having a c-section with my first born I was determined to have a vbac for my second pregnancy and wanted extra support to ensure that my wishes were heard! I started searching for a doula and after chatting with Jenn on the phone I knew she was a perfect fit. I was concerned for my husband when it came time for labor and delivery wanted to be sure that he was also taken care of so I could remain as calm as possible! Jenn is a saint, she listens and understands to what you’re wanting and she knew what to do to help me through labor when I didn’t even know what I needed. I still remember the calming smell of the essential oil she had misting in my room, the dimming of the lights and quieting the beeping machines. She’s like a Mary Poppins; she rolls in with everything needed and is so reassuring without stepping over your wishes at anytime. After 12 hours and vomiting through labor she was there to welcome our baby girl all while documenting it through pictures that I didn’t even realize were being taken. I cannot thank her enough for empowering me and helping me have the birthing experience I desired.

Charlotte was kind, thoughtful, responsive, hands-on when I needed her, and extremely patient and flexible—beyond expectations. Before I gave birth, in the months leading up to my labor, Charlotte came to my home a few times to get to know me, my home, and my birth preferences. Since it was my first pregnancy, she had many thoughts and suggestions for how to prepare and I found her all around competent and thoughtful. Fast forward to my birth experience. I was in labor for three days, and during all three days, she was there for me exactly how I needed her. For the first day, I labored at home and she was available by phone and text until I decided I wanted her in-person support. Once I asked for her to be by my side, she stayed with me for close to 36 hours starting at home and continuing through the time I was at a birth center. After the second day passed, I made a non-emergent transfer to the hospital due to fatigue and dehydration. During this time, we communicated well and I allowed her to go home and take a nap while I got an epidural and took a nap as well. Crazily enough, she was on call for another birth and even wound up attending another birth while I was in the hospital waiting to dilate enough to push. As this happened we stayed in communication and I felt supported enough by her and my midwives over the phone that I didn’t need a backup doula. On the third day, the stars aligned and she wrapped up at her other birth not long before I was ready to push. She rushed to my hospital, and was not only by my side, but encouraged me exactly how I needed and held one leg while a nurse held my other one as I bore down and pushed my little girl out. TLDR; Charlotte is communicative, capable, sympathetic, and experienced. She was an excellent choice as a birth support person and if you are considering her to be your doula, let this be my letter of recommendation.

I would highly recommend Dawneshia’s services. Not only is she educated but she is compassionate and extremely thorough. I searched for a doula very last minute and it took no time for her to educate me and assure any concerns I may have had about birth. I cannot say enough great things about Mkenna and the support she gave me through one of the hardest and most important experiences of my life. I unexpectedly went into labor at only 35 weeks, well before she was supposed to even be on call for me. Despite that she answered every single call and supported me from the very beginning. Unfortunately Mkenna was under the weather when I went into labor and per my decision I decided to not have her physically present. Even though I made that choice, Mkenna never once left my side emotionally or mentally via video chat through my 60-hour labor and through the birth of my son. During my labor I was diagnosed with preeclampsia, had a failed epidural, and faced multiple difficult and unexpected decisions. Through every curveball thrown, Mkenna helped me understand each of the options presented by the doctors and what each possible outcome could look like, allowing me to make informed decisions while still honoring the birth experience I wanted for myself and my baby. During labor there was a point that with my epidural failing I truly believe panic could have set in from the pain. Mkenna helped ground me in that moment. She reminded me to breathe, to use low tones, and to continue to stay focused so my body could continue to do the work. She was also the one who helped me advocate that the epidural was failing, eventually I needed both a spinal and second epidural and Mkenna continued to support me through it all. When I could feel my baby getting close, Mkenna again helped me make an informed decision where I chose to labor down. About 45 minutes later, the doctors did a cervical check and my sons head was right there - it was time to push! Just 22 minutes later my son was born. Even following the birth of my son Mkenna stayed on video to help make sure my birth plan and wishes were still being respected. No matter how many left turns my labor took, I truly believe I got through all of them with the best possible outcome because I had her support. She made me feel informed, empowered, calm, and cared for every step of the way. If you are considering hiring a doula, I can honestly say Mkenna is worth everything and more!

My experience with Jade as my doula has been amazing, and I’m so grateful to have had her be a part of my journey into motherhood. Before giving birth, Jade took the time to educate me on what to expect during labor and delivery and taught me about newborn care. Her postpartum visits have been great, and I really appreciate the care and support she continues to give me as I adjust to being a new mom. She has also provided thoughtful gifts for both my postpartum recovery and my baby, which I truly appreciate. Those gestures mean a lot and show how thoughtful and caring she is toward both moms and their little ones. I would definitely recommend Jade to other moms, especially first time moms. She has been there for me before, during, and after birth, and I’m truly thankful to have had her by my side during such a special time in my life. She made me feel cared for and supported, and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to be part of my birth experience. ??

Where do I even begin…. Imane is such a calm and peaceful presence. I only met her four hours before my baby was born — she was introduced to me by my original doula, who couldn’t attend because I was induced unexpectedly two weeks earlier than my due date. Even though we had just met, I immediately felt connected to her warm and positive energy. Inviting someone new into your birthing space isn’t an easy decision, but with Imane, it felt completely natural. She guided me through every contraction with such grace and reassurance that everything felt easier and more manageable. The name we had chosen for our son is Raihaan — and Imane happens to be the founder of “Rawh and Rayhan” same meaning different spelling. It felt like such a heavenly connection, as if things were meant to align that way. I am so grateful I said yes to having Imane step in. As a first-time mom who planned for an unmedicated vaginal delivery, it was important for me to have a doula. We chose Arri to support us and deliver our baby girl in early September. It was such a pleasure to work with her and have her be by our side in the last trimester; it made me feel so confident that we can tackle anything that comes our way. Arri was such a calm spirit, very knowledgeable about all the techniques that my husband and I can use throughout the last month of pregnancy. We learned a lot through the initial meetings, and she validated that we were learning the right things in our research and classes. Her hands-on approach to showing us laboring positions and also all the tips and tricks to having the house ready for our newborn was so useful! Having Arri on call and responsive via text during my last few weeks was important to have a knowledgeable voice, guiding me and my husband through every step of the way. She coached and guided me through my labor contractions and help us move through early laboring at home, to sending ourselves to Sharp March Birch. Having Arri there for the delivery was exactly what I hoped for, a grounding person who wasn’t one of the multiple nurses and doctors who were buzzing in and out of the room. She knew my birth preferences, and supported my husband and I throughout the entire experience and was there with us from start to finish all the way through the recovery room. Definitely chat with Arri to be your doula, she was great!

We hired Jeremy Anne to help care for our daughter back when she was 9 months. She was with us for about 5 months. She helped with feeding, play, naps, walking development, baby sign, minor housekeeping items and offered advice with caring for a baby. She has a wonderful holistic approach with her support. She cares about ALL family members - humans and pets alike! We loved that she wasn’t a “transactional” kind of person, she really took the time to get to know us, ask good questions and offer personal care support when needed. She also went out of her way for many things. I will always remember how she helped develop healthy boundaries with our dog as we were adjusting to our daughter’s needs. The boundaries helped build a healthy relationship with our baby and fur baby! Our daughter enjoyed being around Jeremy and she misses her I think sometimes. Jeremy was very helpful with helping our baby walk! We keep in touch and recently shared how our little one is walking all over the place now! I wish we could have had more time with Jeremy. She is a blessing, she is so peaceful and calm.

Tunisha became my doula when I was 7 months pregnant. Throughout my journey, we had zoom meetings and communicated daily.
