I never thought I’d have a need for a doula nor did I know much of what one did until my sister-in-law suggested it to me. I am forever grateful that she did and that I was able to have Krista as my doula. She made my birth experience so much better in every way possible. She answered my questions, kept me comfortable and advocated for me to my medical team. Not only that but she was able to help ease my husband and guide him as this was our first time becoming parents! There was so much I didn’t realize I didn’t know until actually giving birth. Krista is so down to earth and I didn’t feel awkward or uncomfortable with her the entire time. She will support you in every aspect and won’t judge any decisions you make about your pregnancy and birth - because this experience should be just that, exactly what you and your body want and need. I would recommend Krista to any and everybody, love her so much!

Five stars is not enough for Maria and her team. Having doula be part of my team for the birth of my third child was an absolute game changer. I was determined to VBA2C and it happened! Maria and Kimberly were a huge part of making that happen. Maria was my primary doula and her support and knowledge throughout my pregnancy and birth was amazing and incredibly helpful. It makes a huge difference to have a medical team that is supportive of your goals and to have multiple people on your team outside of the hospital. Rachel is exceptional. Working with her as our Doula for my first pregnancy was the best decision my husband and I made. She provided valuable prenatal education and resources along with being readily available to answer questions and discuss anything I was concerned about. During labor, Rachel served as a kind, steady and calming cheerleader and coach not just for me, but for my husband as well. He felt just as supported and cared for as I did. I had a long and difficult labor that ended with a C-section and I do not exaggerate when I say that I wouldn’t have survived without Rachel. She did everything from walking my husband through different comfort measures to help me, to holding me through the epidural procedure, and feeding me honey sticks to help keep my energy up. She was a calming and encouraging presence through our biggest life change of becoming parents. I deeply appreciated that postpartum visits are part of what Rachel offers. Those meetings were so helpful in processing through the birth experience and all that comes with postpartum healing and caring for a newborn. Rachel is a life saver and just a genuinely wonderful person. I highly recommend working with her!

I hired Nia Nchami as a doula for the birth of my second daughter in 2022. After an initial conversation via email, she came to our house and really listened to my concerns, fears and hopes for my delivery. She took extensive notes and created a birth plan that truly encapsulated what I wanted for the birth. We stayed in contact for several months and talked more frequently as my due day neared. When the day came, she was a force of nature. She kept me calm and confident. She helped me to navigate the birthing process. But most importantly, advocated for me with my doctors, nurses and healthcare staff to ensure that I received the best care. I can truly say that I had a much better experience giving birth than the first time and Nia was a big reason why. She is extremely professional, but also calm and caring. Davona was my doula for my first birth - she was invaluable and I credit her with a huge role in making things go as smoothly as possible. I was induced and ultimately needed to have a C-section for failure to progress, which was not my ideal birth experience.
