Adrian was an incredible support throughout my pregnancy and at my birth. She was attentive, and taught me so much about my prenatal health, the birth process, nutrition, and more. She checked in frequently, and followed up with my health. I was a gestational diabetic, and had never dealt with that before. She was very knowledgeable and reassuring. When I went into labor, we walked, we danced, we laughed, and we prayed. She respected my birth plan. And it was beautiful, unmedicated birth! Having Adrian by my side was a bright, loving and necessary part of a whole beautiful birth experience! She also took care to follow me for my first 6 weeks postpartum, answering any questions and encouraging me and my motherhood.

My experience with Bridgette was fantastic. My main reason for using a doula was I wanted someone in the birth room to be a fierce advocate while I was medicated and in pain and unable to advocate for myself. She was that and so much more. I had to push for 4 hours to get my little one out after already being in labor for 18 hours. The doctor said I was close to needing the vacuum to get her out and I credit Bridgette's knowledge, encouragement of frequent position changes while pushing and encouragement to keep hydrated and nourished with clear liquids to why I was able to get my little one out without the vacuum. Another thing that was a great help was giving my overwhelmed partner guidance on the best ways of helping me and keeping him calm and involved in a stressful situation. In addition to that she got the BEST pictures of the delivery while respecting the fact I didn't want any from the angle you could see my more intimate areas. I'll cherish those pictures forever. My birth was a beautiful wonderful experience. I have to credit part of it to luck but the majority of it to Bridgette.

Melissa was an extraordinary support person through my pregnancy and the hypno birthing courses. I had such a peaceful, confident, and beautiful birth this time (my second child). If I could give a rating higher than five stars, I would! Jocelyn was able to take over and advocate for me when I was unable to do it myself, and when my partner and I were unsure of what decisions to make before and during the delivery process. Tunisha became my doula when I was 7 months pregnant. Throughout my journey, we had zoom meetings and communicated daily. Christine was my doula for my last two babies and was such a help to my husband and me. She was always available if I had questions leading up to the birth. During the actual labors, she had a way of knowing what I needed when I couldn’t really describe what I needed 😂. She also has good relationships with the nurses and hospital staff so my husband and I felt supported throughout. I loved having Phelicia as my doula. She helped me create my birth plan, prep for breastfeeding, pumping, and bottles, and feel at peace about delivery and nursing. Even though I ended up having a cesarean due to breech presentation, she came to the hospital and was ready to help in any and every way in post-op (with care for me, baby's first latch, advice, etc.). She was wonderful at following-up with us regularly, checking in, giving advice, etc., while also giving us space to enjoy being first-time parents. Haley has been such an incredible part of both of my birth experiences, and I truly cannot imagine going through pregnancy and childbirth without her. She was my doula for my daughter two years ago and did such an amazing job that there was never a question that I wanted her by my side again for my most recent pregnancy and birth. Throughout my pregnancy, Haley was always available to answer my questions and ease my worries whenever anxiety set in. She also recently updated our family photos, with a special focus on capturing how much our family has grown and giving us the opportunity to look back and remember the journey that brought us here. Haley is so much more than a doula and photographer, she has become such a meaningful part of our family’s story. From supporting me through two pregnancies and births to capturing some of the most important and emotional moments of our lives, she has been there through it all.
