I am currently a postpartum nurse and mother of four young girls. After nursing school at Ohio State I commissioned as a Navy Nurse. While in the Navy I worked on many units from Pediatrics, ER, NICU, postpartum, adolescent psych, and general med-surg. I found a passion for Peds/NICU and postpartum because I grew to love teaching and empowering parents to feel confident in their roles. I'm certified as a birth and postpartum doula by Lifespan Doulas. Love for my own family and my community has led me to focus on health education, promoting awareness of human lactation, and assisting in extending breastfeeding duration and exclusivity for the families I serve.
