I have always been passionate about birth work, but it wasn’t until I gave birth that I felt a desire to help other women. I felt alone for part of my labor and never want any woman to feel the way I did. Women deserve so much support and love during such a vulnerable and life changing moment in their lives. I will be your advocate and support you emotionally and physically during your labor and birth experience. I want you to have your dream birth and I know I can help make that happen for you, and alongside you each step of the way!

Hello, I’m Lauren- a mother to two daughters and a holistic labor + traditional postpartum doula with an education focused on the Ayurvedic philosophy. I view pregnancy, birth, and the process of becoming a mother as not only a physical event; but a spiritual experience as well. In your most sacred spaces, I act as a gentle guide +space holder in pregnancy, labor, postpartum and beyond. Supporting mothers/families during their greatest transitions, and weaving in ritual+cereomy as a means to support and honor these initiations and grand transitions is a passion of mine. It is through my own difficult experiences with child birth and the Matrescence time, that I feel deeply called to give other mothers/families what I did not receive. It takes a village to raise a mother. None of us were meant to do this alone, nor should we have to!
As a midwife, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside many doulas, and Lauren stands out as truly exceptional. She brings a calm, grounded presence to every birth, with an intuitive sense of what is needed in each moment. Her gentle, steady voice and unwavering support help birthing people feel safe, seen, and empowered—no matter the setting. Her deep knowledge and experience make her an invaluable part of any birth team. She collaborates seamlessly with care providers and brings stamina, grace, and compassion to every stage of the journey. Her postpartum care is equally thoughtful, with a strong focus on holistic maternal healing, both physical and emotional. I recommend her without hesitation. She’s a rare and steady force in this work.

My name is Jillian Cain and I am so excited to begin my journey as a postpartum doula. I hope to be able to support families in the Salt Lake City area, including as far east as Park City, Heber, Midway. I believe that postpartum care is just as much about caring for the mother as it is caring for the child. If the mother feels confident and supported, they are able to be more present and relaxed while supporting their new family member. Whether this is your first or third child, I believe a postpartum doula can help change the first 12 weeks after you give birth.

Hello, My name is Johanna and I am a certified postpartum doula and gentle sleep coach based in Daybreak, Utah! I love supporting families in their postpartum journey. I am happy to help wherever it is needed: caring for the birthing parent or the newborn, helping with older siblings, cooking, and overall helping you navigate life with a new baby! Moreover, I offer holistic sleep support that is tailored to your family. I don't work with any separation-based sleep training methods such as Ferber and CIO. Instead, we look for gentle and realistic ways to improve your baby's sleep. In addition to my trainings, I hold a master's degree in Psychology and am CPR/first aid certified. In my free time, I love to travel, read, do pilates, and do the crossword. I mainly serve clients in and around SLC but am open to travel assignments!
Johanna was our babysitter for our son Peter from 10 months until 2,5 y.o. And our daughter Clara from the first week to 5 months. Johanna is an amazing care taker, she is very knowledgeable and experience across all ages. She is very kind and loving with the kids, and can create a strong bound with them very quickly. She also know how to be strict and make sure that rules are being followed. We would also ask her for advice for sleep training as well as more little things like how to get our son be improve his skills with his balance bike. She always came up with great input and feedback. We all loved her dearly, she became a family member to us, and we hope you can now enjoy her service as much as we did.

Jorie is a birth + postpartum doula and loves every moment of it. She’s certified through Birth Boot Camp and has also trained as a VBAC doula to support clients having a vaginal birth after cesarean. At the young age of 15, Jorie had the privilege of attending her first nephew's birth, an experience that ignited a deep-seated passion within her for supporting families during pregnancy and beyond. Once she experienced that birth, she continued to attend the rest of her nephews + nieces births and took to being the friend or sister who sat with loved ones in their postpartum days. She is known for her warmth, patience, and intuitive ability to learn and guide people in the newness of parenthood. Whether Jorie’s clients find themselves in the midst of labor or navigating the beautiful chaos of life with a newborn, she is there to walk alongside them every step of the way. With her training and hands-on life experience, Jorie’s aim is to cultivate a safe and nurturing environment where her clients feel empowered to make decisions that resonate with their unique journey. Beyond her doula duties, you’ll often find Jorie working on her hobbies and crafts, throwing on her pottery wheel or hanging with her family. She believes in finding joy in life's simple pleasures and cherishing every moment of the journey. She is deeply honored to accompany her clients on their path to parenthood, offering unwavering support, guidance, and a sprinkle of joy & laughter along the way!
I highly recommend Jorie as a doula, both for birth and postpartum! She is SO kind and caring. During birth, she’s an expert at knowing how to advocate for you, encourage you, and what comfort measures to use. Postpartum is also so much better with extra help! Jorie is the best, so thankful for her! :)

Hi I'm Natalie! I am a postpartum doula located in Salt Lake County, Utah. I have 9 years experience as a nanny including newborns, multiples, and special medical and mental needs. I believe that your postpartum experience should be enjoyed. Bringing a new baby home is a beautiful and life changing experience, but it can also feel overwhelming and exhausting. As a postpartum doula, my role is to nurture and support your entire family during this tender transition. I provide gentle guidance, emotional reassurance, and practical help so you can focus on healing, bonding with your baby, and finding your rhythm as a parent. Whether it’s offering newborn care tips, preparing nourishing meals, or simply being a calm, encouraging presence, I am here to make your postpartum journey smoother, more joyful, and filled with confidence.
Natalie is truly one of a kind. She came into our home during a really vulnerable time and immediately brought a sense of calm, confidence, and care that we didn’t even know we needed. From the beginning, she just got it. She knew how to care for me as a mom just as much as she cared for our baby. She made sure I was eating nourishing meals, staying hydrated, resting, walking, and never once made me feel like I had to entertain or explain what I needed. She just knew. She also gave amazing care to our non-verbal autistic daughter. She understood her needs right away and treated her exactly as I would. Honestly, Natalie became a second mom to both of my girls. She was always on time, dependable, and brought such a warm and positive energy to our home. Her support gave our family space to rest, bond, and adjust without feeling overwhelmed. She didn’t just help us survive those early weeks... she helped us actually enjoy them. If you have the chance to bring Natalie into your home, do it. She will become family to your loved ones too.

I have been teaching somatics for over 12 years throughout my local Salt Lake City community. I acquired my BFA in Modern Dance and Education from the University of Utah in 2009 and shortly after gained my yoga teacher training in Hatha and Prenatal Yoga. I am a certified DONA Birth and Postpartum Doula, an ICEA accredited childbirth educator, parenting group coordinator, mental health advocate and community organizer. All of the diverse education and training, as well as years of experience, provided me the space to confidently educate the community of expectant parents during their reproductive years, while simultaneously providing unbiased evidence based care. Hi, I’m Angela. I’m a mom of five and birth doula. I’m passionate about giving women the birth they desire. To enter into motherhood with as much peace as possible. I love supporting women in pregnancy and those early weeks of motherhood.
My husband and I had an amazing experience with Angela as our doula. She helped me to work through some trauma that I had experienced in a previous birth, and helped me overcome some fears and concerns that I had surrounding birth. She has a very calm, soothing presence. I was super impressed with how well she was able to provide birth support and take excellent photos at the same time. I will always treasure the photos she took of my son's birth.

Pregnancy, birth, and babies...I love it all! I see the birth process as a huge opportunity for growth and healing. This is an opportunity for the birthing person to communicate with their body and find their own intuitive & unique way of birthing. This is not just a mother experience but a parent experience, I love getting the partners involved. I am also a massage therapists and birth photographer. Massage during labor can be so helpful and amazing and I love capturing the sweet moments between a couple and meeting your baby! One of my more recent educational experiences is Cranial Sacral Therapy for Infants. I love working with the babies!
Let me start by saying that I NEVER leave reviews unless I was really moved by something. Joleen is such an incredible doula, words can't express enough how much support she provided during my birth experience. She actually cares about her clients and the outcome they desire. I highly recommend having a doula who is also a massage therapist-- a damn good one at that-- I had extreme back labor and needed counter pressure every single contraction. She was with me for 9 or 10 hours and never gave up! She had me move into countless different positions to get my baby to move down and out, and I never felt like we ran out of things to try. My husband was skeptical of hiring a doula at first, but was so thankful that we had her help and that it wasn't all on him after it was all said and done. 😉 I attribute my going natural 100% on the team of people I had with me that day; I would have caved and got an epidural if it was just me and the hubby. My midwife was even complimenting her on how much she was doing to help me! Joleen's gentle guidance was everything. I highly recommend her to anyone who is going to give birth, but especially those who want to have a natural birth!! Having that extra support could really make or break your experience. ❤

I have hands-on experience from caring for infants as young as 6 weeks old to supporting school-aged kids up to 12 years old. My background includes working in a daycare setting as well as providing personalized care as a nanny, which has given me a strong foundation in nurturing, supporting, and engaging children of all ages. I’m also currently working toward my doula certification, which reflects my passion for supporting families through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My goal is to bring both professional knowledge and compassionate care to the families I work with. I look forward to connecting and supporting families in a way that makes them feel seen, supported, and cared for.
In my experience, working with Bre was wonderful! She is kind, patient and hardworking! She works really well with kids of all ages, but especially the age range of 0-2. I noticed she really builds a bond and connection with them. She is very reliable, as well. I would recommend her 10 times out of 10! She has extensive knowledge about babies and toddlers, and even helped me to learn new parenting techniques to try with my children! Our family loves and misses her dearly.

Dr. Megan is a neurologically-focused chiropractor and IBCLC specializing in prenatal and pediatric care. With five years of experience as a family chiropractor, she has dedicated her career to supporting families through every stage of infancy and childhood. Dr. Megan combines her passion for chiropractic care with her commitment to helping mothers achieve their breastfeeding goals. Her journey in healthcare began at Northwestern Health Sciences University in Minnesota, where she became a chiropractor. After several years of practice, she identified a critical need in her community for specialized support in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care. This led her to further her education and earn her IBCLC certification, allowing her to address common breastfeeding challenges effectively. Dr. Megan employs gentle, neurologically-focused adjustments to alleviate tension in infants caused by the stresses of birth. She understands that issues like poor latching and feeding difficulties often stem from tension in the upper neck, jaw, and cranium. By providing safe and specific chiropractic care, she helps babies achieve a deep latch, enabling them to breastfeed efficiently and effectively. When she’s not in the office, Dr. Megan enjoys exploring the beautiful Utah mountains. Whether skiing, golfing, hiking, or camping with her husband Matthew and their dog Sadie, she cherishes the time spent outdoors. Let’s work together to support you on your breastfeeding journey and ensure you have the most successful experience possible!

Hi! We're Savanah and Sheryl, the Neighborhood Midwives. We've been working together in the birth world for the past four years and recently chose to focus exclusively on home birth. This shift allows us to slow down, be more present with the families we serve, and find a better balance in our own lives too. We believe true health starts from within. Our approach blends lifestyle support, movement, and herbal medicine—while also embracing modern medicine when it’s needed. If you're hoping for a calm, familiar, and intimate experience during your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey, we’d love to connect and answer any questions you have.
I had Savanah and Sheryl as my midwives for my first birth - I approached my pregnancy and delivery in a holistic way and they were both so helpful, their bedside manner was truly exceptional and so thoughtful every appointment, and most of all - they were truly THERE for me during my delivery. It was a long labor and they brought me such a sense of peace every time they walked in the room. They both had a way of meeting me where I was at with every question and emotion that came up. I always felt respected and genuinely cared for with both of them - never as an inconvenience, they never made me feel small with my questions or lack of experience. They gave me great lactation support and resources for breastfeeding as well, which was HUGE for me. I can’t wait to work with them again in the future.

My name is Vanessa and I’m a mother of two beautiful children & wife to my supportive husband Adam. We have been blessed to have been married 13 years this summer. I have worked with new mothers & newborns for over 14 years mainly in a hospital setting, then was blessed to be able to stay home as I raised my babies, when my daughter started kindergarten I decided to transition out of the hospital setting and got certified as a postpartum doula to be able to support new mothers and newborns in a more holistic way. I truly have a passion for serving and helping others. I believe the postpartum / 4th trimester stage is a crucial one that should be focused on healing, resting, bonding, nourishing, and fully embracing & enjoying those first precious moments with your new bundle of joy. My mission is to support & nurture new mothers so they can feel a weight lifted off as they savor this challenging, but rewarding time with their newborn and family.
