This will be my first time having a unmediated birth, this is my second baby and would like to do things differently
I want to have a home birth preferably a water birth and i need a woman that is experienced in such and id like a much support in a natural birth as possible
I am currently 11 weeks pregnant so I just getting a head start on looking for a doula. This is my second pregnancy. My first birth was in a hospital setting and everything went great up until the last couple of hours. I thank having extra support with me could have helped tremendously. 1. I am planning on giving birth either in a hospital or a birth center. I want to have as much support during labor especially if I choose a birth center since that would be an unmedicated birth. 2. I am not sure of budget but I definitely want to stay on the lower end of the budget. 3. I really want to choose a birth center and with that I know I would want to be fully prepared for an unmedicated birth. I am very interested in hypnobirthing but am also open to other methods of pain management.
My family and I live in Grand county but plan to deliver in Denver. Not my first pregnancy but only daughter is 15 and need help with feeling stress free. Also high risk pregnancy (type 1 diabetic). Not sure what cost is typically but need affordable options. Thanks!
Planning to give birth in a hospital under the care of a midwife. Budget is flexible (I'm not sure what the going rate is, and depends on what kinds of services are included) My plan is for a natural, minimally medicated, calm birth where I can move freely. However, with a family history of breech/transverse babies, I would prefer a hospital setting.
I need a support team throughout the pregnancy. OBs appointment are very spaced and ob is hard to reach out. Second child after 8 years. History of anxiety disorder
Birth Location: We are planning to give birth at a hospital (likely UCHealth/CU Medicine Highlands Ranch). We are open to working with a doula who is experienced in hospital births and comfortable collaborating with medical teams. Estimated Budget: We are hoping to use TRICARE Select coverage under the Childbirth and Breastfeeding Support Demonstration if possible. We are open to discussing fees and understanding what is covered versus out-of-pocket, but ideally would like someone familiar with billing TRICARE or willing to work with reimbursement. Birth Plan: We are planning a hospital birth with appropriate monitoring. Our goal is a calm, supported, and informed birth experience with low intervention. We value evidence-based decision-making and would like a doula who is comfortable supporting medical interventions if needed (epidural, etc.) while still helping us maintain agency and emotional grounding. We are a married same-sex couple and would love to work with someone who is queer or deeply queer-affirming and experienced supporting LGBTQ+ families. That said, experience and professionalism are very important to us, especially someone who has worked with IVF pregnancies before. We are hoping for: - Strong communication and advocacy skills - Comfort in hospital settings - Experience navigating unexpected changes - Emotional grounding presence - Inclusive, affirming language We are currently 9 weeks with our first pregnancy and looking to establish care early so we can build a relationship throughout pregnancy.
