Hi, I’m Emma, your local birth bestie and birth aficionado! I’m a DONA trained doula based out of Toronto, ON looking to support families throughout their birth journey. My goal is to provide amazing care to each client, tailored to their specific needs. Ever since I was young, I have been passionate about supporting families. Inspired by my childhood dreams of being a early childhood educator, an OBGYN and later a midwife, I have always felt a strong pull towards family care and birth work. In my community, I started by becoming the favourite neighborhood babysitter, then in University I became a loving part time nanny, then moved on to work as a manager of a children’s swim school for several years. Alongside my passion for birth support, I have a deep appreciation for art and creativity. I spent three years working at an art gallery and went on to get my Bachelor’s of Fine Arts degree in Painting. Even then, my dream of caring for families never left me, with my passions leading me to run impromptu prenatal education sessions during lunch breaks at work. In May of 2024 I made the exciting decision to take a step back from my art career and focus full time on becoming a doula. Hi my name is Stephanie Zelembaba and I am a Naturopathic Doctor and co-owner of Abaton integrative medicine. I have a special focus in perinatal (from family planning through postpartum) and pediatric (from newborn to teens) care. Along with my Naturopathic practice, I teach HypnoBirthing prenatal classes (in-person and virtual, group and private) - helping expectant mamas (and their birth companions) develop the tools to have a calm, safe and as comfortable as possible birth. I am also a trained Naturopathic Doula, providing parent's-to-be with labour preparation and day-of labour support.

My birth journey started almost 20 years ago, with the birth of my own amazing child, whose unexpected breech presentation caused me to shift my birth plans significantly. Over time I have been called to support different parents as they navigate their own journeys into parenthood. When I was expecting my first born, I took HypnoBirthing® classes and had an empowering natural birth in a hospital setting with midwives. My second pregnancy was high risk and I again called on these techniques to stay calm and focused throughout pregnancy and birth. After my birthing experiences, in early 2018, I certified as an educator with the HypnoBirthing® Institute. It brings me so much joy to be in service to expecting families and I would be honoured to be chosen as your birth educator. It is my goal to help families feel prepared, relaxed and confidant about their upcoming birth. Hello! I’m Anusuya, a Full Spectrum Doula, blessed to be the mother of two beautiful children aged 18 & 13. I’m someone who brings a calm, steady, and grounding presence, and I naturally extend that care to ensure my support person feels held and supported as well. My favourite part of being a doula is witnessing the moment someone realizes they can do this. There is always a shift when confidence replaces fear, and being present for that transformation is incredibly meaningful. It is also an honour to stand beside families as they welcome new life into the world, knowing I helped create a space that felt calm, safe, and supported. Alongside my doula work, I am an internationally certified Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga Instructor, Yoga Therapist, and Face Yoga Trainer.
