Having Carrin as our postpartum doula for overnight care was a true gift during an incredibly vulnerable time. She brought such a calming, supportive presence into our home. Her help through those long nights allowed us to rest and recover, knowing our baby was in good hands. But more than that, she was there to talk through some really tough moments when I felt overwhelmed. I will always be grateful for her care and the comfort she brought to our family.

Becky is a wonderful photographer and so easily puts you at ease. She helped me with headshots and general photos for my doula website, and I couldn't be happier. I usually feel a bit awkward in front of a camera, but with Becky it just felt like we were hanging out and happened to get some great photos :) I also know that she's fantastic with parents and kids (especially brand new ones!), having seen her in action in our community. Go for it!!

Hi, I'm Alexandra (though many call me by my initials, ACE, for short!) My fascination with birth and deep desire to protect mothers and babies compels my heartfelt commitment to the families I serve. My deep and wholehearted devotion to the optimization of your prenatal, delivery, and postnatal experience is not only evident in my loving, hands-on approach, but also in the joy-filled outcomes we share.

Ace helped prepare myself and my husband for natural labor as I was hoping for a vbac. The techniques she showed us helped relieve pressure in my back in the last couple of weeks. This was my second baby and I knew nothing ever goes to plan. I ended up having a repeat c section. I went in for my 38 week appointment and was told baby was coming the same day. I messaged ace and she was able to make it and be there with us. I had a horrible experience with my first c section and having the extra support there helped me get through it and it was a dar better experience than my first. I won’t be having anymore kids but if I did, I would definitely hire Ace again as my doula. She was amazing in every way possible.

Hi Friends! My name is Marlo Knight and I am a certified postpartum doula and certified newborn care specialist as well as a certified postpartum nutrition specialist. I am located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I love supporting families during the magical and sleep deprived first weeks of their baby's life! I absolutely love what I do and do it with my whole heart. I am always looking to bring a sense of peace and calm to the homes I am invited into and I strive to create a judgement free space for parents to ask questions and express themselves freely. As a mother of 3 and a grandmother I bring with me lots of experience in nurturing little ones and their mamas. I can't wait to get acquainted with you! In my free time I enjoy my volunteer work, cooking (my love language), wine tasting with my best guy, family time with my girls and their families, and naps with my cat.

Recent review

We had an wonderful experience working with Marlo as our night doula for our firstborn son! My postpartum experience would have been very different without her. Marlo was able to be in our home the first night when we got back from the hospital, when I was a sleep deprived mess of a first time mom - and I'm sooo grateful to have started my postpartum journey with her support . She is clearly a pro and loves babies - and I'm glad I was able to learn from her in real time. We continued to work with Marlo for 2-3 nights a week for 6 weeks, and always looked forward to her arrival those nights.  She cared for our son with so much love, and I always could breathe a sigh of relief knowing he's in safe hands overnight, and I could relax fully and sleep. Toward the end, Marlo helped me introduce a bottle overnight, so I was able to get my first nights of fully uninterrupted sleep! Marlo is an excellent communicator, always prompt/responsible and on time, and great with our very curious beagle dog, who welcomed her with open arms. Would absolutely recommend Marlo.

A dedicated, capable, and broadly skilled Full Spectrum Doula. My skillset has flourished in the years I’ve spent in professional birth and postpartum care. Having supported over 300 families through pregnancy, labor and birth, and even hundreds more in postpartum, as well as a foundation of 20+ years of NCS experience, I am a seasoned Doula based here in metro Seattle / Tacoma. My competencies are built on the foundation of full-spectrum experience of pregnancy, birth and postpartum. I walk hand in hand with families through first, second, and third births as well as the many in-between variations of the experience of growing family. It is important to me to practice with a calm and clear mind, helping to build your confidence and awareness early on, helping you assert your autonomy confidently to be in charge of your experience. At the heart of my work as your doula are the values of trust, honesty, reliability and non-judgmental support. There is no one right way to become a family. My role is to help you feel sure of what is right for you.

We truly cannot imagine how we would have navigated the first few months of new parenthood without Nori. Nori’s greatest strengths include her deep wisdom, unmatched knowledge of newborn care, and calm confidence that instantly puts parents at ease. She has a “magic touch” for soothing babies and helping them sleep, and we believe our little guy started sleeping through the night at 10 weeks due to Nori’s gentle, consistent sleep routines. (We were not sleep training at this young age—it was Nori’s consistency and routines she developed for us and our baby that helped our baby know it was time for sleep.) Nori also has a gift for coaching new parents with warmth and empathy: she taught us all the invaluable baby care skills we needed to know—diaper changing, addressing diaper rash, bottle feeding, sleep and bedtime routine, safe sleep and swaddling, soothing, bath routine and hygiene (nail trims etc), and more. She is the most (obsessively!) punctual person I know—we knew we could depend on her to arrive ten minutes early to every single shift. That consistency and reliability really put our mind at ease—my husband and I would excitedly say “tonight is a Nori night!” whenever she was coming and by 5 or 6pm, we already felt more relaxed knowing she would be arriving soon (and always early). She was a reassuring presence in helping us address a few early issues: a dairy intolerance in my breastmilk, and a (worrying-looking but ultimately totally innocuous) skin condition he had early on called transient neonatal pustular melanosis. For the first few months, the only person who could take care of our baby in a way I (the mom) could truly relax (without a single worry or needing to check in to see how things were going) was Nori—because she could provide him an unmatched level of attentiveness, care, and detail orientation. She would notice the smallest things, like a spot of diaper rash or whether to increase the oz in his bottles. Finally, I’ll add that in conversations with our friends about their night nannies and postpartum doulas, we have learned that Nori is truly one-of-a-kind—lots of our friends had wonderful experiences with their doulas/nannies, but no one was truly “Nori level.” She is exceptional and inimitable! We recommend her enthusiastically and without reservation to any family—she is priceless.

I believe birth is not just a medical event — it’s a deeply personal, transformative experience, and the way you are supported matters. As a birth doula, my role is to provide steady, evidence-based support while centering you: your preferences, your intuition, and your sense of safety. I support families through pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early postpartum period with calm presence, clear information, and compassionate advocacy. Whether your birth unfolds exactly as planned or takes unexpected turns, you deserve to feel informed, respected, and supported every step of the way. I work with all birth settings and outcomes — hospital births, unmedicated or medicated labors, planned or unplanned cesareans — and I meet each family where they are, without judgment. My approach is grounded in current evidence, emotional attunement, and the understanding that there is no “right” way to give birth — only what is right for you. Clients often tell me they feel more confident, less overwhelmed, and better prepared after working together. I aim to be a steady presence you can lean on — someone who helps you understand your options, supports your partner, and creates space for you to stay connected to your body and your baby. If you’re looking for a doula who is calm, knowledgeable, and deeply invested in your experience — I would be honored to support you.

From the moment I decided to choose Olena, I have never regretted it. From the very beginning, Olena was incredibly attentive and supportive. Her two prenatal visits were incredibly helpful. She clearly explained what to expect during labor and helped me prepare for the upcoming challenges both mentally and physically. She demonstrated valuable pelvic floor exercises that gave me confidence and preparedness for my future labor. Throughout my entire labor, she was very responsive to my needs and ensured that my wishes and comfort were a priority. She worked closely and communicated effectively with the nurses and midwife, and her support was especially crucial when the question of a C-section arose. She confidently advocated for my preferences and helped my voice be heard. When the decision was finally made for a C-section, her support never wavered. Both my husband and I felt reassured by her steady presence in the operating room. One of the most meaningful moments for me came right after the birth of my son, when my husband needed to be with him and all the doctors were busy. I cannot forget the comfort of her hands on my face while I was getting stitches. It was exactly what I needed to feel safe and cared for. After the labor, she continued to provide me with comprehensive support. She taught me how to sit and breastfeed correctly, guided me through every step, and frequently checked in to make sure I was doing well. I truly valued her knowledge and genuine care, and she went above and beyond, sharing an incredibly helpful list of tips for newborn care, postpartum recovery, and breastfeeding. Having Olena as our doula has been incredibly beneficial for both me and my husband. Her experience and unwavering support truly helped us through every step of this life-changing moment, and if my husband and I decide to have a second child, I know who I will choose as my doula.

I am a certified labor/birth and postpartum doula. I am also a Newborn Care Specialist and a certified newborn sleep specialist and sleep coach. In addition to giving birth to 10 children myself, I have helped hundreds of families in the nearly 30 years I've been doing this work. I feel it really DOES take a village to raise a child, and I am always honored to be invited to that village. Whether it's assisting in getting information so parents can make informed decisions in labor or birth, or teaching new parents how to bathe their babies, or establishing sleep routines to help all household members to "sleep like a baby", the role I am invited into is an important one that I do not take lightly.
