Giving birth at evergreen hospital in Kirkland Looking for doula support through birth as well as post partum support and night nurse support through the night for a short period. Mother is 36. Would like support with sleep training, light cleaning. Possibly cooking but are exploring options.

At least 3 years Experienced with certification. If they can speak mandarin it will be better. English is also good. Especially after birth for the first 3 - 4 weeks.

Primarily looking for a "night nurse" or an NCS (newborn care specialist). Feed baby, change diapers, soothe / comfort / hold during night awakenings, swaddle and establish bedtime routines, maintain sleep logs and notes, educate and support baby and parents to establish healthy sleep habits. * Bonus if the provider can speak Chinese (Mandarin). * Would help if the provider can help with house chores. * Would help if the provider can provide emotional support and therapy for parents. Plan to give birth in hospital in a traditional medical setting.

I am having my fourth child. I am going to be solo-parenting 3 elementary school aged children (11, 8, and 6) while welcoming my new baby. My current children’s father is not the father of my newest addition. I plan to give a medicated birth at a hospital, Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA. As far as budget goes, I am hoping to find someone covered by my insurance. My birth plan actually needs a lot of planning still. This will be my first unsupported birth. With my previous children I had my partner, mother and usually another female family member. It has been over 6 years since my last birth and I’m open to trying new things like birthing baths and alternative pushing positions. My births have always been short (4-6 hours from start to final push.) I never had any complications after birth or during but did need an iron transfusion before my third child was born, I went into labor the night after receiving the transfusion. I need a lot of guidance and support and will be struggling with anxiety during this pregnancy and birth.

I plan to give birth in the hospital. Unsure of budget.
