Welcome! My name is Gabrielle Palinkas, but you can call me Gabby! I am a birth doula ready to help families have the best birth experience possible! I support all births, whether you want to give birth at home with no medication or in a hospital with a planned c-section. I believe that your birth should be all about you! When I'm not helping families, I am a "fur-baby" mom of 3, one chocolate lab and 2 snuggly kitties. I love to read and crochet in my downtime. Baby blankets are one of my favorite things to make, and I just joined a group that makes special items for preemie babies in the NICU. I am a fully trained birth doula on my way to certification through DONA International! I completed all of my required education for certification in January 2024. I am very excited to be certified through DONA International, the leader in evidence-based doula training, certification, and continuing education. As a birth doula I am there to provide physical and emotional support to you throughout pregnancy and birth, as well as support your birthing partner to be as involved in your birth as they wish to be. I also provide evidence-based resources to prepare you to make informed decisions that are best for you and your growing family. One of my focuses is to keep expanding on my knowledge and services to better support my clients. I am very excited to learn more about pain management, postpartum support, and lactation support especially! I am in the works of being able to provide TENS unit therapy to my clients, education on the best essential oils for birth and how to use them, baby-wearing classes for all the different kinds of wraps and carriers, and so much more!

I was born & raised in New York, attended Fordham University at Rose Hill, Bronx NY and Ross University Medical School, where I completed my Pediatrics residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center, Bronx NY. Although I loved helping children and young adults of all ages, I always gravitated towards newborns. Breastfeeding moms and babies often don't get the care and attention they need to thrive. So after careful consideration, I realized I could have a positive impact on newborns as a Lactation Consultant. As an IBCLC, I am well equipped to provide newborns, moms & their families with comprehensive breastfeeding support services, while still working in medical field.

HEY THERE TIRED MAMA, I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU’RE GOING THROUGH! Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Erin McCormick. After becoming a mommy of my handsome son, Quaid, I was just as uncertain as you probably are of how to get this little human to sleep through the night. I was exhausted from getting up at all hours of the night. To make matters worse, everyone kept telling me, “nap when the baby naps.” NAP? My baby wasn’t napping long enough for me to fall asleep. What were they talking about? After countless hours of research, reading MANY baby sleep books, and trial & error. We finally decided to work with a 1:1 sleep consultant to learn how to get the most out of the important everyday task of sleep. After learning healthy sleep habits, Quaid started sleeping through the night (11 to 12 hours uninterrupted) at five months old! He also started taking long naps during the day! I decided to become a certified pediatric sleep consultant so I could pay it forward and help other mamas do the same. Through teaching my child to sleep better, I not only gained a happy, energetic, fun, loving child, I also gained my husband back. We have “us” time again. I have the energy to do the things I love again. I have time to enjoy those things or just relax when my child takes a nap or is in bed at a reasonable time. You can do the same!

My love for Obstetrics started after I saw my first birth in nursing school; I have spent the majority of my 16 years as a nurse working in labor & maternity units, and as a lactation consultant.
