My name is Amy Hammant, I am a licensed Internationally Board Certified Lactation Specialist, certified in Oral Habilitation, Cranial Nerve Dysfunction, Pediatric Feeding and Oral Motor Assessment, Pediatric Holistic Sleep Therapy, and CST-CFT trained. My Degree background is in Midwifery, and Health Psychology with a concentration in Maternal Child Health. I have served thousands of families of diverse populations over the years- working in and out of a hospital setting here in Tampa Bay, and also working in the community as the lead clinical lactation specialist at Champions for Children’s (Baby Cafe) program of Hillsborough County, before opening Tampa Breastfeeding Center. My journey started many years ago with my own three children struggling with feeding, and in particular, my daughter who was tongue tied. Our journey taught me so much, and gave me the passion and desire to give all families access to non-judgmental, evidenced based clinical lactation care. When I’m not helping mamas and babies, I spend my time with my family traveling in our RV making memories!

Drina went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and prepared for the day! I was freaking out because at 41 weeks my baby still hadn't come and i was due for induction. My first baby was also induced, and because of the pitocin i begged for an epidural and ended up with a catheter, more stitches, longer recovery, lasting back pain, etc. The first induction took 21 hours. Yesterday i had my second baby via pitocin induction without an epidural! My dream come true. It was painful but she kept me in the zone. She had me laughing and oozing oxytocin and just going with the pain. It was like out of a movie. The nurses were saying that i had the kind of birth they read about in textbooks but never see up close in person. I started pitocin at 11:45am and baby was here by 3:13pm. Having Drina there was such a game changer. I would 100% recommend her and have her there at any future births as long as she’s willing. I am eternally grateful.

Hello! I'm a passionate biologist and mother of two, certified as a birth and postpartum doula since 2023. Currently, I specialize as an Advanced Lactation Specialist and Safe Infant Feeding (CLAAS and IYCFS), committed to providing the best support during pregnancy and childbirth. At Doula at your cervix, I believe in gentle, personalized support for families during the conception and pregnancy process. I consider each pregnancy, labor, and birth to be a unique and miraculous experience where the emerging family is at the center. I'm here to accompany you with sensitivity and professionalism on this special journey.

Leenoshka was absolutely amazing as my doula! She came to my house and help me understand in a detailed manor the steps and the things that go into labor, and breastfeeding. When I went into labor and called her at 4am she answered and kept in touch until it was really go time and she came over. She helped the whole time, being in labor was not easy but all the tools she brought and her knowledge helped out so much. I was able to be in labor for only 40 hours, and I kept progressing and was able to do it naturally. Definitely do not know what I would have done without her. She also helped me with latching baby girl on which I absolutely appreciate!

I believe that connecting with your body feel safe, private and unobserved is key, living a pleasurable life will lead you to a pleasurable and transformative experience. I would love to be part of your memorable, sacred major life event. I will offer emotional and physical support, I will give you evidence based information for you to be able to take informed decisions.

There are no enough words to describe how thankful that. I had found Zory and was able to have her as my Doula. When I met her, I knew immediately that she was the one and that I would be extremely comfortable with her. She takes her time to meet with you, to ensure you are heard and she does her best to make sure it happens. She pays attention to detail before and during your birth. My birth did not go exactly how I planned, it went along fast and I was supper freaked out, but as soon as she arrived, I felt an extreme sense of safety and comfort. If I were to have more children, I would want Zory by my side again. During labor and during all that pain there is one thing that stands out to me and it was all her telling me that I was doing this and I was doing amazing, etc, everything else was blurred out. You would not regret having her as your Doula and you would want her to be in your life as your friend, because that's how much she cares. Thank you Zory! I am eternally grateful for you

You’ll find me filling many roles as a wife, mother of 3, early childhood enthusiast, and dedicated doula that loves photographing cherished moments throughout Central Florida. Some say a doula is a luxury, however for many it’s a necessity! I became a doula because I realized how many women/birthing persons are without support or a village to help them through what could be the most beautiful yet scariest time of their life. At Baby Bumps, Beyond Birth, we believe that every individual deserves a birth experience that honors their autonomy, dignity, and unique story. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care that nurtures the whole person - body, mind, and spirit. Hello and CONGRATULATIONS! I began providing birth support to friends years ago, but without formal training. More recently, I encountered women who gave up or never initiated breastfeeding and so, became a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC). Then, as I continued my education in that field I found significant statistical proof for the positive impact Doulas have in birth and thereby, lactation. So, it made sense to finally certify :-D I’ve completed DONA training and am in the process of meeting their certification requirements. Meanwhile, I’ve acquired NICU-Informed Doula designation, attended a Spinning Babies workshop, and am close to completing WaterBirth certification, plus strive to participate in other seminars / training for various aspects of birth to increase knowledge and improve my services. I offer heart, hands, knowledge and a variety of comfort measures, many of which I share with you and. your partner in advance (if wanted). Equally important, I offer evidence-based information as needed to enable timely, appropriate conversations with your OB/Midwife and foster a team approach to the birth experience you desire. Words aren’t enough to describe the joy of birth; It will be an honor to support yours! Please call and we’ll see if it feels like a good fit :).

I was not able to see Katherine as we are too far away from each other; however, that did not stop her from being so kind and thoughtful as to still provide me with a list of resources as I continue to look for my doula. If we were closer, I would 1000% hire her. Any mama who decides to work with her I can guarantee is in good care with someone who genuinely cares and loves what she does and how she supports women and their babies! She is a natural.

Hello! My name is Catherine. I’m a mom to three boys + one on the way and I’m a traditional birth doula. I became passionate about the process of physiological birth after I had my first homebirth with my third son…it was the first time I truly felt empowered during the birth process and now I want every mother to be able to experience that same feeling! I believe as women we have everything we need to give birth already inside of us but that we don’t have to do this alone! I’m here to hold your hand, remind you of how strong you are and celebrate with you when the hard part is over! I would be honored to be a part of your journey. The way I serve and support women as a doula is best described as “birth bestie” or “birth sister.” I want to truly get to know you (because the better I know you the better I can support you!) and hear all your dreams and desires for birth. I offer a listening ear and a calming presence for anything you might need to work through or discuss throughout your pregnancy journey. If any of this sounds good to you, let’s go grab coffee and chat about all the birth-y things! ☕️ https://msha.ke/jubilantbirth www.instagram.com/jubilant.birth

My husband and I were very grateful to have Catherine’s expertise, genuine care, and consistent support as we became first time parents. At the birth of our daughter there were many times that made me question my ability to continue through a slow progressing labor but Catherine’s support and calm was the fuel I needed to face another contraction. Having her as my doula was the best decision!

Strength in Serenity is the embodiment and the symbol of the ceremonial rite of passage that occurs during the birthing moment. I started Strength in Serenity in September 2025. Hello guys! My name is Ruth-Ann Grant. I'm a Certified Birth and Postpartum Doula. I'll be servicing the Central Florida area. I'm excited to be on this new journey. My hope is to help mom's feel seen, heard, and cared for. My background is being a massage therapist. I have over 5 years of experience with not just relaxing the body but the mind. That experience helps me be a better listener, nurturer and safe space. I'm excited to be able to add that knowledge to helping my future moms.

Recent review

As a third time c section mom and the first time postpartum doula customer I’m over the moon with the service Ruth-Ann provided. She treated me like family from the first encounter. Her attention to detail and thought provoking questions helped guide me through the recovery process and I learned from her wealth of knowledge. She helped me to have a new perspective of the assistance I might need this time around that I didn’t think of. This is my third child and my third c section, this recovery would not have been as smooth, positive and comfortable without Ruth-Ann.

I believe that childbirth is very intense, hard work, but is not designed to be traumatic, that children are a blessing from the Lord, and in most cases, the discomfort that comes with the WORK of childbirth can be managed well through mental, emotional, physical and spiritual conditioning to promote a smoother transition from the womb to the world.. It is my pleasure to teach and guide parents how to do just that.

Whatever you are considering working with Jenn to do in terms of pregnancy, delivery, post-part I’m, or education, do it. She’s calm, kind, and able to adjust to the many changes inherent in parenthood. I love her.
