My name is Jillian Cain and I am so excited to begin my journey as a postpartum doula. I hope to be able to support families in the Salt Lake City area, including as far east as Park City, Heber, Midway. I believe that postpartum care is just as much about caring for the mother as it is caring for the child. If the mother feels confident and supported, they are able to be more present and relaxed while supporting their new family member. Whether this is your first or third child, I believe a postpartum doula can help change the first 12 weeks after you give birth.

Hi I'm Natalie! I am a postpartum doula located in Salt Lake County, Utah. I have 9 years experience as a nanny including newborns, multiples, and special medical and mental needs. I believe that your postpartum experience should be enjoyed. Bringing a new baby home is a beautiful and life changing experience, but it can also feel overwhelming and exhausting. As a postpartum doula, my role is to nurture and support your entire family during this tender transition. I provide gentle guidance, emotional reassurance, and practical help so you can focus on healing, bonding with your baby, and finding your rhythm as a parent. Whether it’s offering newborn care tips, preparing nourishing meals, or simply being a calm, encouraging presence, I am here to make your postpartum journey smoother, more joyful, and filled with confidence.

Natalie is known as the child whisperer in our house. She started helping our family when our second child was three months old, guiding my husband and me as we adjusted to life with two kids. As our postpartum doula, she was an incredible support — especially since we were both working and our baby had trouble sleeping. Our first child had been an easy sleeper, so we had no idea what to do with a restless baby! Natalie was the only one who could calmly guide our baby to sleep, and she had such a natural way of connecting with our toddler. She also taught us new approaches to parenting that made our home more peaceful and our routines more manageable. I’ll be forever grateful for the time she spent with our family — even now, our toddler still asks when Natalie can come over to play. You should also know that Natalie takes initiative in the most thoughtful ways. She made our lives so much easier — preparing meals for the kids when I had forgotten to plan ahead (which was most days!) and quietly helping with little chores around the house without being asked. She’s truly amazing.

Being involved in birth work has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember! I graduated from Utah Valley University with a degree in Social work where I found joy in listening, and empowering people. Soon after graduating I gave birth to my first daughter and it reignited my passion for birth and desire to want all mamas to have a positive experience during childbirth. I completed my doula training with songbird maternity learning skills to support mothers such as breathing exercises, optimal positions for labor and pushing, massage and more. I am excited to help you learn more about the beauty of childbirth and feel empowered and amazed at what your mind, body, and baby can do when they all work together!

Hiring Charlee as my doula was one of the best decisions I've made and made such a positive impact on the birth and recovery of this baby. I wish I had used her for other births. If I was having more children I'd use her again. It was so helpful to have someone to message when I thought I was in early labor and it gave me more confidence heading into the mental work that comes with labor. Even though I went to the hospital in the middle of the night, she came as soon as possible. I also so appreciated her playing with our 6 kids in our hospital room after baby was born. That meant the world. She far exceeded any expectations I had. She treated us more like family or friends than a stranger. She also was involved postpartum, coming over to help with anything I wanted help with and even provided a meal, snacks, and baby gift. Can't say enough that she exceeded any expectations we had.

I became passionate about birth the moment I found out I was pregnant for the first time. Deciding to go through natural child birth was something I always knew I wanted to do and having a doula by my side, as part of my birth team, was something enhanced my birth experienced and allowed me to feel taken care of. It inspired me to want to do for other mothers. I am honored, and blessed to be a part of the births I have been thus far and hope to be able to attend to plenty more.

Hi! I'm Kim, your local midwife. The story of how I came to be here in Utah, serving women through pregnancy and birth is an interesting one. My education consists of a Bachelor of Art in Sociology with an Emphasis in Ethnic Studies, a Juris Doctorate with Emphasis in Criminal Law, and Certification as a Professional Midwife. My calling has always been to serve people in a humble, practical and pragmatic way. Creating positive change in people' s lives in the most efficient way possible. Over the years, this guiding principle has taken me on many adventures through different areas of life, different communities, and around the world. I grew up the child of two Air Force parents (Lawrence Hardeman and Cynthia Wright), traveling back and forth to Japan over my early years and around the US as I got older. During my settled years, I lived in Kansas City, Missouri. Unbeknownst to me, a distant ancestor of mine was one of the first to settle that area before Missouri was even a state. Peter Hardeman Burnett, a lawyer who defended Joseph Smith while detained in the Liberty Jail, adventurer who led 1000 pioneers on the Oregon Trail, and eventually became the first governor of California. During my college years I became a mother for the first time and with the help of a fantastic nurse midwife I endured 19 hours of pitocin induction with no epidural. I was so young and naive at the time I didn't understand the true blessing she was in my life. That revelation hit me during my second birth, where a midwife wasn't available. That was the hardest pregnancy, the most life threatening delivery, and the most depressing postpartum experience of them all. I waited five years before deciding I was ready for another and this time I studied, I scoured my city for resources, and I found another amazing midwife. That birth was magical. I created an experience with the support of my midwife, my husband, my mother and mother in law that healed every traumatized part of my soul. My fourth birth was even better because I had a home birth midwife that time who helped me feel empowered and confident beyond what I had achieved in my prior pregnancies. This is when I decided that a law degree is nice, but midwifery lights my FIRE! I started my training soon after my son's birth and haven't looked back since. Beginning a career as a midwife during the height of a worldwide pandemic, when hospitals prioritized control over freedom in birth, was truly a gauntlet. Women sought out of hospital birth for the first time, fueled by fear and anxiety. I learned to meet women where they were at and move them into a space of peace, calm, and confidence in their bodies and their babies. In that space, my midwife mind was developed. I served hundreds of families in Missouri and Kansas, some families as far as 3 hours from my home because no midwife would travel to them. I gladly chose to drive hours round trip for home visits and births, because on those long drives through the Kansas plains, I was able to lay down prayers with every mile. Asking God, "Where do you want me? How do I get there? When should I go?" Like my ancestor, Peter Hardeman Burnett, the answer was "Go West, to the mountains". Full of faith, I began winding down my Kansas City practice and made plans to move to Utah. I married my spouse under the aspen trees at the foot of the mountains in Rotary Glen Park in Park City, UT and began building a life here. Now, I find myself rooted in the same valley as you all, with open arms and an open heart, ready to serve the families that are sent my way.

Kim has provided nothing but the best care throughout my entire pregnancy and after for my little boy and I! I have felt honored and valued- nothing less! She is markedly professional, yet empathic and open with personal anecdotes when asked. While passionately supportive of your goals and values, she openly explains the full spectrum of each topic to empower your best decisions- ultimately respectful and supportive of your final decision. I love how Kim is so knowledgable about natural ways to address comfort/concerns and willing to try these before moving onto medical interventions. I was continually impressed by her ability to recommend several natural remedies to try when I mentioned anything under the sun! Not only that, but why they work and their benefits/risks. Her philosophy and passion about midwifery is evident. Im so grateful for her role in my natural childbirth and hope to have her again for a homebirth with our next child! Thank you ♡

Esther is friendly, kind, and knowledgeable. She’s very helpful and eager to to please. Just let her know how she can help and she’s there. I had my baby in the thick of school so that proved a little tricky schedule-wise at times, but when I had her she gave in her all. I appreciated her help with my other littles. God knows they needed extra love and attention after the baby came.

I’m a doula dedicated to compassionately guiding women and their birth companions through an incredible journey of strength, resilience, and empowerment. We are created to birth our babies into this world. That process is more than just an event- it is a transformation. As a doula, I carry this philosophy at the core of my approach. I believe in the innate strength within every woman, and my role is to guide and empower you, alongside the rest of your birth team, on your unique journey. Furthermore, I firmly believe that as we face our fears and discomfort, we have the potential to emerge stronger and more resilient. Birth, with all its uncertainties and challenges, provides a crucial opportunity for personal growth. This strength carries with us through the rest of our lives and empowers us in our role as a mother. I recognize the invaluable role that partners, grandmothers, sisters and others play. My doula support extends beyond the individual, creating a collaborative and inclusive environment that fosters a sense of unity and support. I hold a deep belief in the sacred nature of birth. She was very kind and patient. Answered all of my questions thoroughly and was patient even when I'd ask the same question over and over again. She worked with me and my fears and made the experience not as scary as I was thinking it would be. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting an at home birth. I'm gonna use her again if I get pregnant again. She even was able to draw my blood sample with minimal pain, unlike the doctor's office that drew my first samples. She made me feel safe and in control of how I wanted to have my birthing experience be. It was thoroughly wonderful and an enjoyable experience.

Hi, I’m Kayla — birth mentor, labor doula, and host of A Mother Is Born. I believe birth should feel like a big deal — in the best possible way. My own experience giving birth was transformational. I felt honored, trusted, and supported throughout. It was beautiful and powerful… and also incredibly rare. Most women I know didn’t feel that way about their births — and that’s what pulled me into this work. I support women who want something more from their birth experience — whether they’re preparing for the first time or recovering from a difficult past one. I offer in-person doula support in Utah County, and virtual birth mentorship to families anywhere. I’m especially drawn to: First-time parents who see birth as a major life event — and want to plan it with care, not just "go with the flow" Experienced parents who had a birth that didn’t sit right — and want a different story this time My approach is rooted in values: self-trust, autonomy, and honoring the body’s wisdom. I don’t believe in rigid checklists or cookie-cutter plans. I focus on helping you figure out what matters most to you, and then build a plan that supports that. I’ll teach you to advocate for yourself — and I’ll step in to back you up when needed. You won’t be alone. My favorite part of this work? The women. The honest conversations. The deep relationships. Watching someone grow into motherhood with intention and power is the biggest honor of my life. A few personal things: I’m a very type-B personality. The bad? My car is always a mess. The good? I am flexible, intuitive, and empathetic. In my personal time, I love learning the names of all the local plants. It's probably an even nerdier hobby than learning about birth! I have a deep weakness for dark chocolate, and never go to bed without second dinner. I truly believe that birth can be one of the most powerful and positive experiences of your life — when you have the right support. I'm excited to meet you!

Pregnancy, birth, and babies...I love it all! I see the birth process as a huge opportunity for growth and healing. This is an opportunity for the birthing person to communicate with their body and find their own intuitive & unique way of birthing. This is not just a mother experience but a parent experience, I love getting the partners involved. I am also a massage therapists and birth photographer. Massage during labor can be so helpful and amazing and I love capturing the sweet moments between a couple and meeting your baby! One of my more recent educational experiences is Cranial Sacral Therapy for Infants. I love working with the babies!

Let me start by saying that I NEVER leave reviews unless I was really moved by something. Joleen is such an incredible doula, words can't express enough how much support she provided during my birth experience. She actually cares about her clients and the outcome they desire. I highly recommend having a doula who is also a massage therapist-- a damn good one at that-- I had extreme back labor and needed counter pressure every single contraction. She was with me for 9 or 10 hours and never gave up! She had me move into countless different positions to get my baby to move down and out, and I never felt like we ran out of things to try. My husband was skeptical of hiring a doula at first, but was so thankful that we had her help and that it wasn't all on him after it was all said and done. 😉 I attribute my going natural 100% on the team of people I had with me that day; I would have caved and got an epidural if it was just me and the hubby. My midwife was even complimenting her on how much she was doing to help me! Joleen's gentle guidance was everything. I highly recommend her to anyone who is going to give birth, but especially those who want to have a natural birth!! Having that extra support could really make or break your experience. ❤

In my experience, working with Bre was wonderful! She is kind, patient and hardworking! She works really well with kids of all ages, but especially the age range of 0-2. I noticed she really builds a bond and connection with them. She is very reliable, as well. I would recommend her 10 times out of 10! She has extensive knowledge about babies and toddlers, and even helped me to learn new parenting techniques to try with my children! Our family loves and misses her dearly.
