Hello I’m Hannah. Wife to my husband, mum to our three children, and lover of family home-discos, prosecco Fridays and sitting by our log burner. I’d been a stay-at-home mum since the birth of our second child. Previously, I worked with families who had young children with autism. I felt honoured to be invited into their lives and homes as they learned to accept and live with autism. I knew that when I returned to work, I wanted to continue supporting families. After our first birth, my husband and I felt so much love for our daughter and such joy, while also experiencing anxiety, exhaustion and overwhelm like never before. The bubble of our new family of three was incredible, but was often popped with feeding worries and differing opinions and advice, rather than being kept intact with unbiased emotional and practical support. My desire to support new mothers and their babies began and grew after the birth of each of our children. Our family unit continued to change, meaning the support we needed changed too. Looking back, I realise that I didn’t place enough value on my own self-care after having a baby. So much emphasis is placed on the baby; their health and wellbeing, that the mum and her physical recovery and wellbeing is often overlooked. Now, following my postpartum experiences and with my children all in school it has been a privilege to become a postnatal doula and massage therapist. During your pregnancy, I can ease aches and pains, provide relaxation and enhance oxytocin flow with pregnancy massage. I provide an antenatal session, discussing and exploring the impact and changes that the arrival of a newborn may have on your family, some of which may not have yet crossed your mind. This encourages you to consider in more depth the support you might need and how and with whom you can access this. It is just as valuable for second and third-time parents as for those expecting their first baby. Once your baby has arrived, I can listen to you, as you tell me about your birth experience, how you’re feeling that day, or how your previous night has been. I will support you as you feed your baby; make you drinks and snacks, make you more comfortable, provide insight and support with breast and bottle feeding and share feeding resources and services. I can make you simple meals, prepare you a bath, hold baby while you sleep and help with the mounds of babygro washing. I can attend postnatal appointments or mother and baby services with you, and play and assist with siblings. I can aid your physical and emotional recovery after birth with postnatal massage, treating the tense and aching muscles that come with feeding, carrying, putting prams up and down, and the worries that come with parenthood. I will tailor my support for your family’s needs. The support you need on one day, may be very different to the support you need on another. Please feel free to get in touch for a chat, I look forward to hearing from you, Hannah.

Hi, I’m Leanne, Mummy to Livvy and 2 cockapoos. I am a Specialist Practitioner in Nursing by background, working within the NHS for 10 years. It is through my own experiences that I found myself aspiring to be a Doula. My aim is to offer a Collaborative Approach to Individualised Care in Fertility, Pregnancy & Post Partum. I want to help you build a good relationship with your service provider so that a mutual understanding is made and everyone that will be present in YOUR birth space feels comfortable with your choices. I only take on a limited number of clients at any one time to make sure I can give you the full care and attention you deserve. By offering Fertility, Birth & Postpartum Support, my purpose is to reduce any stress, allowing you to pay attention to your body and your baby. I love protecting your experience, so a good foundation is made.

The lovely Leanne was my birthing partner nearly 5 years ago - before she started training to be a Doula - and even without any previous experience she was an absolutely amazing support throughout my whole birthing process (pregnancy through to birth). I could not have done it without her! Leanne attended my appointments with me and was constantly researching the different stages of my pregnancy as the weeks went on to ensure she knew how to support me best. Leanne made me feel so so comfortable throughout the whole of my labour and made sure my needs were tended to - she even provided strawberries for my cravings 👀🍓 I can honestly say my whole pregnancy journey would not of been the same without Leanne there by my side - especially at the birth! I can’t recommend her services enough 💗
