I had a very difficult first pregnancy and was very unprepared for post partum. I gave birth on March 21, 2026 and (unexpectedly but happily) am Expecting again on March 2, 2027. I would love intentional planning this time!

I am looking for a postpartum doula to provide support during the day and/or night.

I'm looking for a postpartum doula and/or night nurse 3 days a week who accepts Cigna insurance.

First baby, planning on giving birth with park slope midwives (NY Presbyterian Methodist) and would love someone with experience attending births there. Looking for low intervention/natural birth as much as possible, a doula with experience in hypnobirthing and providing counter pressure during labour preferred. Bonus points if you have a tens machine available!

I’m having my second child. I’m planning a hospital birth at Garnet in Middletown, NY. I’m looking for a doula who will support me through labor. My first birth experience was not what I was hoping for. I needed to be induced due to having preeclampsia at 37/38 weeks. I was in labor several days and I pushed for 6 hours. I am hoping to be able to reduce the time. I would like to meet ahead of time and then I’d want my doula present during the birth at the hospital. I wanted to see if I can get a doula that’s covered by insurance, I need someone that’s going to advocate for me in a room full of doctors and help me work through techniques and other things considering I’m a first time mom and I’m a woman of color.my birth plan as of right now is to get all the pain meds lol and have the epidural and try to give birth vaginally and I don’t want any students or residents in my birth room helping or assisting during my birth.
