Debora helped us overnight for over two months, and we couldn’t be more thankful for her support. She was very caring and nurturing to our daughter. Also, being first time parents, she gave us a lot of insight and knowledge along the way. I especially appreciated that Debora constantly checked in with us to understand if we wanted to change anything in the routine or have her do something differently. We tracked details and sleep time in an app. Debora was great at tracking everything that happened overnight and would provide a short recap for us in the morning. She also reviewed the details we put in before arriving so she knew how baby girl was doing that day. There are many more small and big actions she took to make the experience positive.

I walk this path as a full-spectrum doula serving Skagit, Island, and Whatcom counties, supporting families through every phase of their journey with compassion, truth, and a deep reverence for the lineage of birthworkers who came before us. My work weaves modern care with ancestral knowing, honoring the understanding that my ancestors have always been the original doulas and community nurturers. Through Blakk Box Doula Services LLC, I offer birth, postpartum, and emotional support rooted in balance, grounding, and connection. My services include Reiki-infused massage, blessingways, placenta encapsulation resources, herbal teas and bath salts, yoni steaming, cleansing baths for trauma release, and intentional postpartum care that uplifts the body, spirit, and home. My calling is to create safe, loving spaces where birthing people feel seen, supported, informed, and empowered. Whether walking with you through pregnancy, birth, the tender postpartum window, my goal is to help you feel held—never rushed, never alone. If you’re seeking support that is holistic, heart-centered, and rooted in truth, I would be honored to walk this sacred path with you.

Hi, I’m Sage. I’m a doula and the founder of Mommy Meltdown Perinatal Services. I started this work because I noticed the lack of a village when I could have used one the most. My lived experience is why I’m so committed to making sure no one else has to navigate the messy, beautiful reality of parenthood alone. I don’t understand this work just from a book, I’ve been there too. I am a DONA International trained birth doula, hold a COC in group peer support, and am trained in perinatal mental health and anxiety disorders from a non-clinical perspective. I’m here to support your body and your mind through labor and the weeks that follow. When it comes to birth, I’m a calm, steady advocate in your corner. I won't tell you how to birth; I'll be there to make sure you have the evidence-based information you need to make your own choices with confidence and the support you need to see them through. If you think we might be a good fit, I’d love to connect. Let's have a quick chat to get to know each other and talk about how I can best support your unique journey!

Sage was a huge help for us in those first couple weeks of postpartum. Knowing she was watching over our baby girl gave us some much needed sound sleep and her advice during that time was invaluable. She's so easy to talk to and incredibly helpful with getting back on top of our baby laundry and dishes. Highly recommend Sage and her services!

I am Rafaela, a Certified Postpartum Doula through NAPS and a graduate of DONA International–approved Postpartum Doula training. I am also a Birth Doula trained through the Becoming a Birth Doula program with Carrie Kenner and a Newborn Care Provider. I am based in Kirkland, Washington, and provide compassionate, respectful, and hands-on support to families throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period, helping parents feel confident and supported during one of the most meaningful transitions in their lives. I hold a Technical Degree in Nursing from Brazil, earned in 2010, with more than 2,090 hours of combined theoretical and clinical training. While this is not a U.S. nursing license, it provides a strong clinical foundation for the care and support I offer families. Throughout my professional career, I have gained extensive experience in maternal and newborn care, including supporting pregnant women, newborns, premature infants, and babies requiring specialized care. I bring seven years of hands-on experience working in a maternity hospital in Brazil, where I supported mothers during labor and provided direct care for newborns, including premature infants and babies in the NICU. This experience has given me extensive knowledge in supporting families with newborns who require specialized care. I offer both daytime and overnight support for newborns, premature infants, and their families during the postpartum period. My services include evidence-based newborn care, emotional support for parents, infant feeding guidance, healthy sleep foundations, and practical assistance to help families feel confident and well supported as they adjust to life with a new baby. Families often describe me as reliable, calm, and attentive. I strive to create a warm, organized, and judgment-free environment where families feel supported and confident in their routines while following current American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommendations for safe sleep and newborn care. I am fully vaccinated, have excellent references, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation. I had an incredibly intense experience in April 2024 when I gave birth to my son. I had planned to deliver at a midwifery center, but after arriving there in labor, it was believed that my labor had stalled, so I was sent home to rest. After a few hours of sleeping through contractions, I woke up in the middle of the night realizing that my baby was coming much sooner than expected. I immediately called Sam, and she arrived at my house within minutes. We initially planned to head back to the midwifery center, but it quickly became clear that I wasn’t going to make it in time. We moved into the bathroom, and I could feel my baby descending. In that moment, it was just the two of us. I had an overwhelming urge to push, and with one push, Sam calmly caught my baby. She remained composed as she gently unwrapped the cord from around his neck, wrapped him in warm towels, and helped stimulate him to cry. Her calm presence, quick thinking, and skill made all the difference in such a critical moment. I truly believe that without her there, the situation could have turned out very differently. I am beyond grateful for her care and for the way she supported me through such an intense and unforgettable experience.

Ayden My Birth Doula was an absolute lifesaver throughout my entire birth journey. From our prenatal visit to postnatal support, she was incredibly informative, knowledgeable, and always on time. She helped me understand what to expect, even knowing that birth can be an unexpected process at times, which gave me confidence and peace of mind going into labor. As a single mom by choice, Ayden was especially respectful and empathetic to my unique needs and how they differ from those of a couple. She was deeply supportive, caring, and thoughtful, never dismissive, and always made me feel seen, understood, and honored in my experience. During birth, Ayden was kind, nurturing, and remarkably calm. Her lovely positive affirmations and strong, grounding words helped me stay focused and empowered. Her intuitive guidance, especially with birth positioning for pushing was invaluable, and she attentively nurtured all of my needs, from snacks and water to maintaining dim lighting and a peaceful space. Giving birth to a Christmas baby unfortunately for me turned into travel nurses, and midwives and nothing going as planned. Yet, Ayden created calm within the chaos. She helped keep me grounded and feeling safe, and knowing she was by my side brought immense comfort. Her postnatal visit was just as supportive and reassuring, helping me process the experience and feel cared for beyond the birth itself. I truly cannot imagine my birth experience without Ayden’s support. Truly a Doula Angel Sent to help bring my baby girl into this world safely and as calm as possible in the unknown.
