My family has been my focus for the past 10 years but my love for babies and helping families has never wavered. I have loved babies since I can remember. I am currently a certified postpartum doula and plan to continue my education and become a lactation specialist and take classes in sleep training. As a postpartum doula, my primary goal is to assist families in adjusting to their new roles and responsibilities. I offer practical support by helping with newborn care, such as feeding, bathing, and soothing techniques. Additionally, I provide guidance on postpartum recovery, including self-care practices and emotional well-being. I understand that the postpartum period can be overwhelming and exhausting for new parents. I will offer emotional support by actively listening to their concerns, providing reassurance, and offering a non-judgmental space for you to express your feelings. You are strong and capable and you can do this on your own, but with a doula you don’t have to.
