lactation consultant for 2 week old insurance is blue cross blue shield federal looking for in home visit at battery park city
In-home consultation, recurrent milk bled as well as helping to establish a pumping routine for an exclusively nursing mom
I’m 8 months postpartum and exclusively pump with a Spectra. For months I was getting about 12–14 oz per session. Over the last 4–5 days, my output suddenly dropped to about 4.5–7 oz per session. I’ve replaced my duckbill valves, I’m power pumping, and I’m eating and hydrating, but I’m still worried because I don’t feel like I’m emptying completely.

I'm looking for a postpartum doula in Suffolk County. Our baby is due in August, and we would like help with, newborn care (bottle feeding, diaper changes, etc), lactation education, general household help (cleaning, cooking), and postpartum mom support. Night support would be great, but we are still deciding/are flexible. A bonus is someone trained in Traditional Chinese medicine, but not required. Ideally looking for someone that my insurance covers, so budget can also be flexible.

Birth location: FF Thompson, Canandiuga New York Birth Plan: No epidural, not laboring on my back, delay chord clamping until chord is not pulsing, no hep B or vitamin K, no continent in baby’s eyes. I do not want a episiotomy or CSection. My plan is to breast feeding baby. Looking for an advocate to stay on birth plan, help my husband feel educated on how to support me during labor with breathing, and massage, etc. tips on positions best for pushing, keep my mental game strong, empower me, etc. May need education and tips on breast feeding postpartum

Plan to give birth at St Peter’s Hospital Not sure on a budget yet I’m interested in giving birth in a hospital without an epidural, but am not 100% sure yet. I would like someone who can coach me through labor, and help me figure out breastfeeding
I am currently in my 24th week of pregnancy, and have so far had a smooth pregnancy. My due date is July 13, 2026 and I plan to give birth at St. Peter's hospital in Albany, NY. We are open to budget, but would like to stay under $3,000. I am not sure if I will need a lactation consultant, but wanted to look at options and learn more so I can make an informed decision about it. My birth plan is to ideally be minimally medicated, and not have a full epidural. I would like to be able to get up and walk around, use the bathroom, and switch birthing positions based on what feels comfortable with minimal limitations. I hope to have a vaginal birth and learn more ways to prepare for a safe one.
