I have been a registered nurse specializing in perinatal care since 1990. In 2015, I became an IBCLC and began working full-time as an inpatient lactation consultant. In 2019, I expanded my skills by studying craniosacral therapy under Carol Gray. Over time, I integrated craniosacral therapy and lactation consulting at the Recovery Lounge while interning with Amanda Glenn, gradually preparing for retirement from my hospital position. In May 2024, I retired and shifted my focus to the Recovery Lounge and Spa, where I now combine lactation consulting with infant craniosacral therapy, as the two practices complement each other to foster a more joyful breastfeeding experience.

Hello! I’m Ethan Herrold, a maternity photographer based in Colorado and the heart behind Colorado Maternity Photography. My passion lies in creating a safe, celebratory space for women to feel deeply seen during one of the most transformative times in life—pregnancy. With a background rooted in both technical photography and emotional storytelling, I specialize in capturing timeless, magazine-worthy portraits that highlight your unique strength, softness, and beauty. I believe maternity photography should feel empowering, not performative—where every woman is honored just as she is. My approach is warm, grounded, and intuitive. I guide you with care and encouragement, helping you feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera, whether we’re working in studio or surrounded by Colorado’s wild landscapes. Outside of photography, I’m fueled by my love for the outdoors, meaningful connection, and a good cortado. I’m here to celebrate your journey and help you preserve this fleeting chapter with imagery that reflects your truth and radiance.
I had such a great experience working with Ethan of Colorado Maternity Photography. He was incredibly communicative and professional from start to finish. I felt so comfortable during the shoot—he gave clear, easy-to-follow direction and made the whole process feel natural and relaxed. The turnaround time was also super quick, and the final images are absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend working with him if you want your pregnancy captured with care and intention!

Hello! I provide comprehensive postpartum support to families in the Denver area. I offer a range of services and very customizable packages as both a Postpartum Doula and Advanced Newborn Care Specialist. I have a passion for supporting families as they grow and strive to provide quality education and care. My goal is to give families the confidence, knowledge, and tools for success during this major life transition.
A True Gem – Forever Grateful for Kaylin In a world where dependable, compassionate support can be hard to come by, Kaylin was a breath of fresh air. From the very first night, she brought a sense of calm, professionalism, and genuine care into our home. Always punctual and incredibly reliable, Kaylin consistently went above and beyond in every way. She made life with a newborn feel manageable—even enjoyable. It was clear she truly loved our son, William, and that bond meant so much to us. What I didn’t expect—but deeply appreciated—was how much she supported me as a postpartum mom. Her presence during those quiet, late-night feeds became something I looked forward to. I will genuinely miss our middle-of-the-night conversations. Thank you, Kaylin, for helping us through one of the most intense seasons of life—and guiding us gently to the light at the end of the tunnel. We’ll never forget your impact on our family.

Hello! My name is Laura Rayford and I am a DONA certified birth doula in the Bay Area. I am passionate about guiding birthing people with nurturing and empowering support; working together towards your ideal birthing experience. I have completed two birth doula trainings. One through Hospital Friendly Doulas (which has allowed me to work as a volunteer doula at Alta Bates Hospital in Berkeley, CA) and the other with Sierra Birth Institute (a training approved by DONA). Both provided me with invaluable information and numerous tools which allow me to confidently support birthing people and their families.Prior to working as a doula, I worked as a nanny for 15+ years. I have always been drawn to working closely with families and giving children the best possible care. For me, this naturally led me to doula work, helping new little people be brought into the world by their capable, brave and extraordinary birthing parent. I am excited and passionate about this work and deeply appreciate your considering inviting me into such a personal and powerful chapter of your life.
Laura was an outstanding doula both during the prepartum phase and the delivery. She was very responsive and attentive to our needs. She has shown extreme dedication and passion for the process of delivery, and has provided useful education, all the way through birth. We are so thankful she was there to help us, and has made our delivery as stress free as possible.

Eloise was worth her weight in gold during a difficult birth that didn't go to plan. My hope was to labor at home as long as possible and to have an unmedicated water birth. However, I unfortunately developed preeclampsia with severe features, which necessitated an emergency induction at 37 weeks and being confined to the bed on a magnesium drip for the duration of the multi-day labor. I called in Eloise for support during a very low point in my labor, when my epidural had failed and dilation had not progressed for hours. Eloise immediately created a peaceful environment with candles, essential oils, and gentle music, and employed massage, heat therapy, and a TENS unit to promote relaxation. In the first three hours after Eloise's arrival, my dilation suddenly advanced from five to over nine centimeters, a fact which I absolutely attribute to the deep sense of safety she provided. When it came time to deliver my son, I was struggling with feeling weak and depleted after a long, overwhelming labor. Eloise calmly encouraged me through each and every contraction during three hours of pushing. I truly believe that there's no way I would have been able to fulfill my goal of having a vaginal birth if not for her steady presence and her guidance on how to make my pushing more effective. In the weeks following the birth, I ended up suffering from a painful and persistent uterine infection. I had not purchased a postpartum package from Eloise, but she continued to check in with me nonetheless, a testament to the genuine care she has for her clients. Having Eloise as my doula was an extraordinary silver lining of a challenging birth experience. My husband and I are so grateful for Eloise and would unreservedly recommend her to anyone.

My name is Jessica and I am honored to be considered as your Doula for this monumental time. My work as a Doula is focused on supporting my clients by leading with love and inclusivity, with the belief that we all have various life experiences, and regardless of those, every client of mine deserves to be loved, heard, included, and empowered to stand for their beliefs in and outside of the labor room with a constant, and reliable support. I have a true passion for obtaining and sharing evidence-based information to work with my clients to make a plan for their ideal labor and delivery as well as the postpartum period. Additionally, I equip my clients through prenatal visits and ongoing communication with information about laboring and birthing positions as well as different types of comfort measures and anything else they may need to feel comfortable. I have a strong belief that every birth experience is unique and special, and understand the tenderness of the moment for mom, baby and family. I have always been called to help and care for others. In my life I have been fortunate to experience and learn about pregnancy, labor and postpartum through others experiences before my own experience in birthing my son just under two years ago. Going through the uncertainty, intense emotions and challenges of pregnancy, birth and parenthood has brought me back to my passion of giving back to my community as a Birth Doula. Outside of being a Doula, I love to spend time with my family, traveling, eating good food and exercising outside. I cannot wait to get to know you more! Congrats on your growing family!
It is my absolute pleasure to recommend Jessica Parker as a doula. Jessica joined me toward the later part of my pregnancy, and from the beginning she offered warmth, knowledge, and steady encouragement. I had hoped for a VBAC, and while my doctors initially recommended this, I felt nervous due to my first birth being a cesarean. Jessica eased those fears by providing evidence-based information, helping me create a plan to discuss with my care team, and offering consistent reassurance. She took the time to check in frequently—sending texts, making herself available for calls, and ensuring I felt supported at every step. When it was later discovered that my baby was breech and a repeat cesarean was necessary, Jessica remained by my side, adapting seamlessly to my changing needs. Although hospital policy only allowed one support person in the operating room, Jessica offered to come to recovery or arrange for her backup doula to be present so I would not feel alone. She went above and beyond by coordinating postpartum support—ensuring someone was there to help me during those crucial first hours at home as a single mother with a toddler. What sets Jessica apart is her genuine care and commitment. She doesn’t just show up for the birth; she invests in your well-being before, during, and after delivery. She supported me far beyond my expectations, and it was clear that she truly wanted me to have a positive and empowered birth experience, no matter the circumstances. I wholeheartedly recommend Jessica Parker to any expecting family. She is compassionate, knowledgeable, reliable, and dedicated. Anyone who has her as a doula will be in the best of hands

As a doula, I provide compassionate, personalized support throughout the birthing journey, focusing on both emotional and physical well-being. I use comfort techniques such as grounding breathwork, massage, position changes, and pain management tools to help create a calming and supportive environment during labor. I also prioritize emotional support by listening without judgment, offering reassurance, and holding space for whatever the birthing person is feeling. Partner involvement is an important part of my care—I help partners feel confident and connected, guiding them in ways to offer meaningful support so they can be present and engaged throughout the experience.

Hi! I'm Lisa! I'm a Christian Doula and Childbirth Educator in SE Aurora, CO. Right now I'm offering birth support in all birth settings (as long as you have a midwife or OB), and Childbirth Education in my home or your home! My faith is the foundation for my life, and most of my clients find and choose me because I stand strong in Biblical truth and moral values. I am a mom of 5, and wife to a husband who is a systems engineer, so I have great perspective as a mother and can relate well to new dads that might be more analytical and logic-minded. Music, art, reading, and all things creative are my hobbies, and I love to spend time in nature. I have experience supporting families with every kind of birth plan, from natural home birth, to hospital epidural birth, to planned cesarean. My favorite kind of birth to support is YOURS. I truly believe that you know what's best for your body and your baby, and I'm here for it!
Lisa provided me support and guidance while I was pregnant with my first child. Working with Lisa was a huge boost to my physical, emotional, and mental well-being. As a first-time mom, I had a lot of concerns and anxiety. I appreciated being able to ask Lisa questions and hear about her experiences as a doula. It gave me an idea of what I could expect at the hospital where I was planning to deliver. She assisted me in formulating a Birth Plan. (Ultimately, we didn’t end up using this, but the process of writing it made me consider some important issues such as whether I wanted a medicated or unmedicated birth.) The biggest benefit from working with Lisa was learning how to help my body during pregnancy. I am a very go-go-go type of person and as a result, I was twisting my back in all sorts of bad ways. Lisa assisted me in doing pregnancy-safe stretches to help ease the discomfort and eventually referred me to a local, trusted chiropractor who did absolute WONDERS to relieve the pain I was experiencing. I am thankful for Lisa’s service and have fond memories of being her client.

¡Hola! My name is Karen and I am a fierce advocate for reproductive justice. I love Sistersong’s definition of reproductive justice, which is, “the human right to maintain personal bodily autonomy, have children, not have children, and parent the children we have in safe and sustainable communities.” Therefore, I seek to support people within their journey, honoring their bodily autonomy and rights, which is why it is important for me to support birthing people, those seeking to release their pregnancy, and parents wanting to create safe and nurturing environments. I am a Spanish-speaking birth and postpartum doula who is passionate about making sure the birthing person is feeling empowered, liberated, and heard throughout their pregnancy, labor and birth, and postpartum. I am a medicaid-approved birth doula. I am also an abortion companion and will provide you with unbiased, nonjudgemental support and unconditional love. I believe wholeheartedly that your body knows how and what to do, and that you know YOUR body the best, so I will support you in whatever YOU feel is best for you. I know you have a voice and I value that, so I will advocate WITH you. Birth and the transition to parenthood, as well as the postpartum after birth or an abortion (spontaneous or medical) is a mental, physical, and spiritual shift, so I approach my work with clients in a holistic and trauma-informed way. To be a part of your journey is an honor and a privilege and I will treat it as such when you let me hear your story, enter your home, meet your family, and be a part of a transformational moment in your life.

My name is Brooke, owner of MountainMamas Doula Services. I’m really glad you’re here! I am a certified Birth Doula, certified Postpartum Doula, and Newborn Care Specialist. I live in Littleton with my husband and two amazing children! I started in this work 5 1/2 years ago, taking after my mom and primary birth backup, Donna, who recently retired in birth work after 16 years. I am deeply connected to this work and involved with my clients - as much as they want me to be! I take 4 to 5 births per month and up to 1 postpartum client at a time. I would love to chat and see if we’re a good fit!
This was my first time with a postpartum doula (3rd baby) and Brooke was truly amazing. I wish every single mama could have Brooke during their 4th trimester. We signed up for a month of morning help, and quickly increased our contract to two months. I'm pretty slow to warm up to people, so the first few days were hard - accepting help is hard! She is so patient and kind, we quickly found a routine. After our contract ended, me and my husband (as well as our 11 and 2yo) would daily remark on how much we missed Brooke. She has a permanent place in my heart and I would hire her again in a heartbeat!

Kristen’s passion for all things pregnancy, birth and parenthood began in 2008 when she had her first baby. Since then, she has become a mother of two, a yoga teacher, health coach, full spectrum doula, and lactation consultant. Kristen has a diverse range of experience having attended over 100 births in many different hospitals since completing her doula training with Birth Matters in 2020. She is honored to be invited to support you on your journey no matter where you come from or what your family looks like. Kristen is proud of the network of resources, care providers and relationships she has built with fellow Doulas, OBs, Midwives and Nurses in the Denver/Boulder area. Part of the leadership team of the Denver Health Doula program and a Community Doula with Elephant Circle’s Expecting Chances, she has been invited to speak, teach and attend birth related events seeking to improve the landscape of birth in our country and is always seeking to learn and grow. Pregnancy, labor, birth, postpartum, breastfeeding and parenting can be a lot to navigate. Kristen aims to support her clients with compassionate, trauma-informed, evidence-based, non-judgmental care. She holds space to address whatever comes up so families can show up to birth with confidence. Preparing you mentally, physically, and emotionally, she provides information, resources, guidance and advocacy to her clients as they navigate their unique adventure, helping them to feel empowered in their choices. When not with her own kids or working with clients, Kristen loves being in nature, traveling to new places, frolicking with her dog, swimming, hiking, biking, snowboarding, and surfing.
Hiring Kristen as our doula was the best thing I did for my pregnancy and birth. She made herself available throughout the final few months of my pregnancy via countless texts and phone calls prepared to answer all the wild questions I had about any symptoms or feelings. When I finally went into labor, none of us knew I’d be in it for a whopping 60 hours before my son was in my arms. I could go on and on about all the things she did to help get my son in an optimal position (there were many) but at the end of the day, she was just there for me. There for me when I thought I’d be having an unmedicated birth center birth. There for me when we had to have a c-section instead. And there for me after while I processed it all. She is amazing and I’d hire her again and again and again.
