In order to bolster my experience and skills, I sought educational opportunities that specialized in newborn/infant care.  I have completed course offerings from Newborn Care Solutions in both Foundational and Advanced levels and am an Elite, CACHE certified NCS; along with being a trained doula and working on my certification for lactation counselor, I continue learning and growing my knowledge through safe sleep courses and many other trainings pertaining to newborns.
