I'm your local doula! It's a pleasure to meet you! I have extensive experience working with clients and their families, teaching valuable stretches to prepare the pelvic floor for birth so you have an easier, quicker labor and postpartum recovery! We serve with the utmost respect and compassion, meeting you where you're at and walking alongside you to help you on your journey. I’m a birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, breastfeeding counselor, instructor of menstrual cycle health, and lover of Jesus! My current passion is helping girls and women realize their God-given potential, including through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. At Agape Doulas LLC, we work with you to have the most heavenly experience possible.

I can’t say enough good things about Doulas of Jacksonville, especially Sarah. She supported us through the birth of our first baby in February 2026, and having her there made such a difference. From the start, she was always available for questions and helped us think through everything—from birth plans to all the “what ifs.” I had hoped for an unmedicated birth, but due to some health concerns, we ended up scheduling an induction at 40 weeks. Sarah really helped me shift my mindset, prepare for different outcomes, and feel confident even when last-minute changes came up. When labor came, it was fast and intense, and she was incredible. She guided my husband with counter-pressure and they worked together to help me through contractions, which made things so much more manageable. Even after we got home, she continued to check in, answer questions, and support us as we adjusted to being new parents. We’re so grateful for her and would absolutely work with her again. I’d recommend Doulas of Jacksonville to anyone expecting—it truly made our experience so much better.

I have lived in Florida all my life. My happy place is by the ocean listening to the waves. I am married to my college sweetheart and we have 3 beautiful, wild boys. I became fascinated by the magic and mechanics of birth during my first pregnancy in 2013. I had an emergency c-section followed by medicated and unmedicated vaginal births in 2016 and 2019. For all three, I had the same doula by my side sharing her 30+ years of wisdom. In 2023, I formalized my training and certifications and have been focusing on doula work full-time. Aside from parenting my sons, it is my biggest privilege and joy to serve mothers in this vulnerable time, and I look forward to knowing and serving you during your journey. I strongly believe it is the right of the birthing person to choose whatever path is right for them. Every body, baby and pregnancy is different. If you choose me to be by your side, my promise is to help you and your partner bring that vision to life. Knowing birth can be unpredictable, I will do everything I can to ensure you feel safe, loved, empowered and strong every step of the way. I would love to talk with you about your wishes for your birth. Get in touch with me today to set up a free consultation.

Amanda was amazing. When my labor stalled out she knew just what to do. She created a spa like experience for me to relax and within 45 minute I gave birth. Even the nurses were impressed with all of her support and gadgets. In the end it was just her and the student nurse who were there during the birth. The RN ran in to catch the baby (the doctor didn't make it in time). Amanda coached me throughout and kept me grounded and relaxed. As a nurse myself I highly recommend her. Another example of her awesomeness is that I didn't want the full dose of pitocin to be induced (per their protocol) as I knew I could get hypertonic uterus as I had at my first birth. So we VERY gradually used it to help get my body started, and it worked! She was very patient and supported my decisions throughout. I couldn't have asked for better. Thank you again Amanda!! I would definitely use you again if I were still local and intended on having more kids :)

I believe that childbirth is very intense, hard work, but is not designed to be traumatic, that children are a blessing from the Lord, and in most cases, the discomfort that comes with the WORK of childbirth can be managed well through mental, emotional, physical and spiritual conditioning to promote a smoother transition from the womb to the world.. It is my pleasure to teach and guide parents how to do just that.

"I recently had the privilege of working with an exceptional doula, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From our very first consultation, she made me feel seen, heard, and completely supported. She took the time to understand my birth preferences, my concerns, and my family’s needs, and she never imposed an agenda—only offered compassionate guidance and evidence-based information that helped me make confident, informed choices. During the prenatal period, she checked in regularly and provided thoughtfully organized resources on everything from birth positions and comfort measures to hospital/birthing center procedures and newborn care. She led us through practical exercises, helped me build a flexible birth plan, and involved my partner every step of the way so we felt like a strong, united team. Her communication was outstanding—prompt, clear, and reassuring—and she was consistently available to answer questions, calm anxieties, and offer realistic, nonjudgmental support. When labor began, she arrived quickly and brought an immediate sense of calm to the room. She guided my breathing, provided affirmation, suggested position changes that truly made a difference, used massage and counterpressure with remarkable intuition, and transformed the environment with simple touches that made me feel safe and focused. She advocated respectfully for my preferences with birthing center staff, encouraged me when I wavered, and helped my partner feel confident and actively involved. Even when plans shifted, she adapted with grace and kept us grounded, ensuring that I felt fully in control of my choices throughout. Her postpartum care was equally outstanding. She checked in frequently, helped us process the birth experience, and offered gentle, practical support for recovery. She provided hands-on guidance with breastfeeding, recommended community resources, and normalized the emotional ups and downs of the early days. She treated our family with deep respect and cultural sensitivity, always honoring our values and boundaries. In every interaction, she was professional, knowledgeable, and deeply kind. Her presence turned what could have been an overwhelming experience into one that felt empowering, supported, and even beautiful. If you’re looking for a doula who combines skill, heart, and unwavering advocacy, look no further—she is truly exceptional."

In May of 2022 my husband and I witnessed the birth of our second baby girl, at home in total bliss. My husband was involved in hands on appointments in our home, tailored to us where he got to learn about maternal health, how to support /affirm your partner during pregnancy—and he delivered our baby alongside Midwife Kim, confident with her guidance. Not only did Midwife Kim-deliver an outstanding beside manner, traveling to and from our home for detailed, hands on visits where we discussed healthy habits for the type of birth we have in mind, birthing options, birthing challenges etc but she also saved my life. Following my peaceful, serene water birth at our home-a 12 hour labor, I encountered an unforeseen medical emergency where Midwife Kim stood 10 toes down to ensure that I made it through. She acted swiftly to cover the basics and make sure I was comfortable, ensured our baby was well and then made a call to 911. Here is where her policy came into place-we can’t have a baby unless we can get you to hospital quickly if something happens. And it did. Her actions while awaiting the ambulance saved me from bleeding out, panicking and going into shock. It didn’t end there, her team cared for my family while I was away being cared for at the hospital post birth. She stayed with me through an uneasy procedure and became my advocate. I would not be here if it were not for the fierce compassion and the wisdom of Midwife Kimberly. I am grateful for her work and the knowledge she fed me as a mother and the ways she supported me post birth and into my postpartum period. She is a true pioneer in the birthing world and if you are medically able to-this is an experience you’ll definitely want to have.

My labor was very long, exhausting, and emotionally overwhelming, and I truly don’t know how I would have gotten through it without Olga. During hours when I felt completely drained, discouraged, and vulnerable, she was a steady, calming presence who never left my side. Olga knew exactly when to encourage me, when to reassure me, and when to simply sit with me and help me feel safe. Her gentle words, touch, and quiet confidence gave me strength when I felt I had none left. She helped me trust my body during moments when everything felt endless and uncertain. Because of Olga, I felt deeply supported, heard, and cared for during one of the hardest experiences of my life. I will always be grateful for her patience, compassion, and unwavering presence, and I wholeheartedly recommend her to any mother who wants to feel truly supported, especially through a long and challenging labor.

👋🏼 Welcome. So, you want to learn more about me, my energy, and the services I offer. First things first… take a sip of tea or water. We need to make sure you’re hydrated. Have you eaten? How’s your bladder? Did you take your prenatals today? I know, I sound like a mother. 😊 But that’s truly where my work begins, with the basics. With tending. With noticing. With caring for the small things that protect the big things. My journey into birth work has been a long, winding path with many twists and turns. I began my career designing therapeutic environments for children’s hospitals, studying how physical spaces impact healing, safety, and the nervous system. Over time, that work led me somewhere deeper, into the sacred space of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Today, I am in private practice, Aspired Mother, where I offer birth and Ayurvedic postpartum care services rooted in both modern understanding and time-honored maternal care traditions. For birth preparation, my focus is on strengthening the mind-body connection so you can access efficient, instinctive movement and nervous system regulation during labor. Birth is not something we force, it’s something the body remembers when it feels safe and supported. Through somatic awareness, alignment, and practical preparation, I help you build confidence in your body’s innate design. For postpartum, my Ayurvedic approach extends the midwifery model beyond birth, protecting your long-term recovery and wellbeing. The early weeks after delivery are not just about surviving, they are foundational to your hormonal balance, energy, and emotional health for years to come. Through nourishment, warmth, rest, and hands-on support, I stabilize and restore you at your core. I also facilitate meaningful gatherings and transition support, such as Mother Blessings, Closing of the Bones and postpartum integration sessions , for women who wish to honor this threshold in a grounded and personal way. At the heart of my philosophy is this: Childbirth is not simply medical event. It is a formative life experience. And when a mother is deeply prepared, supported, and protected, the entire family benefits. So, whether you are planning a home birth, birth center experience, or hospital delivery, I believe in shared decision-making, informed choices, and honoring your autonomy every step of the way. I’m here to support you , not to lead you. Not to override you, but to walk beside you. And yes… I’ll probably remind you to drink water along the way. 💛

HELLO AND CONGRATULATIONS! I began attending birth for friends and family 27 years ago and have been a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) for nearly two years. In birth, I leverage skills gained through experience, self-study, training from DONA International, Spinning Babies, plus I’ve acquired NICU-Informed Doula designation and am close to finishing WaterBirth Certification. I strive to continually improve my skills and knowledge. Most recently, I trained in CranioSacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) in order to support my family, but a wonderful and unexpected benefit is improved ability to recognize multiple conditions that warrant referral to other specialties/practices. Referrals aren’t new; I do when necessary based on what I witness during birth / lactation, but I am THANKFUL I was able to make this investment and grow these skills! I offer heart, hands, knowledge and a variety of comfort measures which I share with you and. your partner in advance (if desired). Equally important, I strive to provide evidence-based information and answers as needed to enable timely, appropriate conversations with your OB/Midwife and foster a team approach to the birth experience you desire. Words aren’t enough to describe the joy of birth; It will be an honor to support yours! Please call and we’ll see if it feels like a good fit :).

Katherine supported us during the delivery of our son in September 2025, and we could not be more grateful for the care she provided. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and thoughtful, offering a beautiful balance between holistic support and evidence‑based practice. Throughout my pregnancy and birth, Katherine consistently centered both me and my baby in every decision and conversation. She leveraged her deep experience to help me navigate the healthcare system with confidence, and she always presented information in a clear, unbiased way that empowered me to make the choices that felt right for my body and my family. Her presence was grounding, her guidance was steady, and her compassion was unwavering. I would highly recommend Katherine to anyone seeking an experienced, caring, and truly supportive doula for their birth experience.

Monica was a midwife to me for my second born baby. After delivering in a hospital with my first baby, I was sure I wanted different with my second baby. Monica was incredible, when she found out it was go time, she was more than prepared! She stayed connected, & we had a quick precipitous labor here my son was born to me in the water just 3 hours after laboring. I’ll never forget this experience and how Monica left a mark in my heart. The most empowering birth right after having had experienced a hospital birth.

I believe birth is a sacred, God-given gift—a natural, physiological process that reflects the original design of women and babies: women are capable of giving birth, and babies know how to be born. My name is Monica Alejandra Latorre, and I am deeply passionate about women’s wellness, birth, and motherhood. As a traditional, faith-based birth and postpartum doula, childbirth educator, newborn care specialist, and fertility awareness educator, I bring over nine years of experience walking alongside women and families through life’s most tender transitions. My vocation is to mother the mother: supporting women as they reconnect with their innate feminine wisdom, dignity, and God-given strength. I believe birth is a holy rite of passage, and it is a profound honor to serve women and their families in these sacred spaces. With deep reverence, I offer my presence, guidance, and resources so that each mother feels supported, informed, and confident as she moves through her unique journey. It is a privilege to be invited into a mother’s birth story, to hold space with tenderness, and to walk alongside her through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My deepest hope is that every mother I serve finds her voice, trusts her intuition, and feels deeply connected to her body, her birth, and her baby.

Alejandra was amazing and such an essential part of me getting to know this beautiful extraordinary process that is bringing life to this earth through my body. Thank you so much for making me understand the beauty of birth. In a world full of fears and doubts. This is the most natural human process God designed us women to go through. Thanks again for being so attentive during the prenatal process and postnatal as well.
