These wisdom holders carry over 10+ years of experience, and I have had the honor to travel globally from Ghana, West Africa, the Caribbean's, South Florida, and Georgia, USA, to immerse myself in learning the most optimal prenatal and postpartum care, as well as serving families, from them. The commonality within pregnancy and postpartum care however has been the centering of the mother's mental, emotional, and physical heath, the well-being of baby, and the communal nature of birth and postpartum itself. I am a dedicated NICU nurse with 5 years of experience caring for newborns, premature infants, and medically fragile babies. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of working at some of the top NICUs in the country, including Jackson Memorial Hospital, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and currently HCA Florida Kendall Hospital.
