I bring a heart-centered, holistic approach to birth work—rooted in deep empathy, empowerment, and unwavering trust in the sacred journey of motherhood. I believe birth is not just a physical experience; it’s a profoundly emotional and spiritual transformation—for the mother and the entire family. My philosophy centers on honoring your intuition, supporting informed choices, and holding space for you to feel seen, heard, and respected at every stage of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I am not here to take control. I am here to walk beside you, uplift you, and remind you of your innate power as a parent. My practice is grounded in compassion, cultural sensitivity, and the understanding that no two birth journeys are the same. I meet you where you are—whether you're planning a serene home birth, a hospital delivery, or anything in between. Through education, advocacy, and unwavering support, I help parents navigate their options and move forward with confidence and clarity. The postpartum journey is just as important—and sacred—as pregnancy and birth. I believe this period deserves just as much care and intention. My approach is rooted in nurturing the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—while creating a soft landing for you to heal, bond, and grow into your new rhythm. Whether you're a first-time parent or welcoming another baby into your family, I offer nonjudgmental support, compassionate listening, and practical help tailored to your unique needs. From emotional reassurance and newborn care guidance to light housework and breastfeeding or bottle feeding support, I work to create a calm, grounded environment where your recovery and your baby’s transition are deeply honored. I see postpartum not as a time to “bounce back,” but a time to be held, nourished, and affirmed. You don’t have to do this alone. I’m here to make you feel seen, safe, and supported every step of the way. This work is more than a profession for me—it is a calling. A calling to serve, nurture, and restore dignity and joy to the birthing experience.

Ashley Sandoval

4 years of experience

I am a Certified Newborn Care Specialist and Pediatric Sleep Consultant with over four years of professional childcare experience, including extensive hands-on care with newborns and young infants in both daytime and overnight settings. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, which has given me a strong foundation in child development and age-appropriate care. My approach is nurturing, attentive, organized, and highly communicative, with a focus on safe sleep practices, feeding support, soothing, developmental routines, and helping parents feel informed and supported. I especially enjoy working with new families because the newborn stage can be both exciting and overwhelming, and I love being able to provide reliable, knowledgeable care that allows parents to rest, feel confident, and enjoy their baby.

Recent review

Ashley provided overnight newborn care for our family during our baby’s first three months (last year 2025). She was incredibly dependable, nurturing, and attentive, handling nighttime feedings, diaper changes, soothing, burping, and settling our baby back to sleep while allowing us to get much-needed rest. She quickly learned our baby’s cues and routines and always communicated with us about feedings, sleep, and anything she noticed throughout the night. Ashley was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring, and having her support during those first few months made such a positive difference for our family.

Hi everyone! My name is Grey Graham, and I am a Certified Postpartum and Birth Doula, as well as a Certified Breastfeeding Counselor. Currently, I service South Florida (primarily), but I am open to traveling to North Florida, as well as any neighboring states. In my honest opinion, I think children are a precious gem, they are Gods gift to us here on Earth. They're just so sweet and actually quite fun to be around, I believe that they are the future and we can learn more from them then we think. I also love to see people happy and enjoying the life we've been blessed with. I decided to become a doula become after constantly stumbling across people with fears/ bad stories about giving birth and having children. I saw that people were afraid of having an actual baby, anxious that they'd be abandoned in the delivery room, and nervous about how to take care of them after. I've heard moms break down thinking they're not doing enough and failing their infant. That's where I come in. My ideal practice is to give judgment free help families adapt to bringing their baby home, understand any concerns they have, and hopefully aid them into becoming able to enjoy this milestone of their life.

As a first-time mom, I had so many worries from if I was doing things “right” to feeling nervous about being alone with my baby. Finding Alkin was truly an answered prayer. From the very first meeting, she made me feel seen, heard, and supported. She never took over or made me feel inadequate, but instead came alongside me with patience and encouragement, helping me build my confidence as a new mom. Whether it was guidance on newborn care, reassuring answers to my questions, or simply creating a calm space so I could rest, Alkin’s presence was invaluable. What makes her unique is the balance of being both a certified postpartum doula and a registered nurse, she brings not only warmth and understanding but also deep knowledge and professionalism. She tailored her support to fit my needs and respected my rhythms and values as a parent. She truly eased the transition into motherhood and gave me peace of mind during those overwhelming early weeks. I’m so grateful and would recommend her to any family/friends looking for both care and confidence on their parenting journey.

Ileana Salazar Monge

9 years of experience

Hello, my name is Ileana. I have many years of experience caring for newborns, infants, and young children. One of the most rewarding experiences in my career was working as an overnight nanny for newborn twins, providing nighttime care, feeding, diaper changes, comforting the babies, and helping establish healthy sleep routines. I consider myself a loving, patient, responsible, trustworthy, and highly dedicated caregiver. My priority is to provide a safe, calm, and nurturing environment while respecting each family's values and parenting style. I enjoy working closely with parents to give their children the best possible care and to provide families with peace of mind, knowing their little ones are in experienced and caring hands. My greatest strength is caring for newborns and supporting families during the first months of their baby's life. I speak Spanish and truly enjoy helping families through one of the most special and important stages of their children's lives.

Recent review

Ileana has been taking care of our son part-time since he was 6mo (he just turned 2) and we love her like family. She has the warmth and care that is rare to find and we have been blessed to have her be a part of our baby’s first years. Now our son will be starting school so unfortunately we will no longer need help during the day, but Ileana will always be a part of our lives. I cannot recommend her enough and please reach out if you would like to ask any questions

I don't even know if I can truly put into words just how thankful I am for Andie and her family of doulas at Little Blue Elephant... but I'll try. Being a new mum to a beautiful little girl, living on the other side of the world with no village, support or family and a husband that travels weekly for work - it's easy to feel overwhelmed, tired, anxious and honestly, a little bit lonely at times. My husband hiring Andie to help postpartum, has been the best decision we could've possibly made. I often tell Andie that she is a real life angel. Watching her, and honestly, her whole entire family, be so calm, nurturing, attentive and kind to my daughter at every single interaction, always makes me feel so at ease that she is being cared for by the very best while I get a restful night's sleep. The way Andie has held and continues to hold me and my family during postpartum has been nothing short of amazing and I will be forever grateful for her. From advice on c section recovery, feeding, burping, pumping, reflux, gas, bathing, diaper rash, naps, schedules and more - she always goes above and beyond and has always offered a wealth of knowlege, without judgement, while confidently answering any question or concern I may have. Washing and sterilizing bottles and pump parts, folding baby girl's laundry, labeling bottles, feeding and soothing my daughter to sleep throughout the night, changing diapers, administering medicine or cream if needed and taking the time to really check in with me mentally each visit... The care is truly second to none. Andie and her family have become my villiage and I couldn't be any more grateful for each and every one of them. Andie always arrives early and is willing to do an extra shift or stay a little longer or start earlier at short notice if needed... I know that I can always count on her which can be really rare to find. She's super accommodating, incredibly reliable and has amazing communication skills - sending overnight reports via text as soon as she leaves in the morning so I know exactly how my daughter's night went and when she is due to wake, feed and be changed next. Andie truly is just an all round wonderful human to be around and her care extends well beyond just getting a restful night's sleep. I always look forward to having a chat with her when she arrives, not just about giving her updates on my daughter, but as a friend catching eachother up on how the week's been and what is going on in our lives... something that has really been invaluable for my mental health postpartum and living so far away from home and family. Andie is our regular postpartum doula each week but I have also had the pleasure of meeting and working with all the doulas from Little Blue Elephant - Jamie, Ali and Aleks... all of which have been just as wonderful, and I also feel like it needs a mention, that every single one of these ladies have been incredibly kind to our animals too. I will never forget Jamie's kindness the first night of having overnight care. She was warm and kind and sat with me for almost an hour talking about my birth and genuinely wanting to know how I was feeling mentally. She gave me comfort and reassurance when I needed it most and she made me feel so safe that I genuinely felt like I was chatting to an old friend. In between taking care of my daughter and loving on her, she also took the time to make me a personalized Amazon store front so that I could easily look at items to purchase that she felt might help me and my daughter. Since then, Andie has also added to the store front with many other great reccomendations. I appreciated this so much as being a new mum, I didn't have the time to do this myself, nor did I know what I should be looking for. Jamie still checks in every now and then to ask about how my daughter is doing and wishes me happy holidays - and every time it makes me feel so special to be thought of and cared for. She has an incredibly kind heart and what a joy it is to be around her... what a joy it is to be around them all. I cannot sing the praises of each one of these ladies enough. If we get so blessed to have another child, I've already told Andie that I want her by my side for the entire journey - from prenatal to the birth to postpartum. I value and trust Andie and her wonderful family implicitly, and would not only highly reccomend their postpartum doula service, but also every single other service they have to offer. Thank you for absolutely everything, Andie. I literally don't know what I would do without you.
