Looking for midwife and dula who works together great . I’m also interested in water birth
This is my second baby I would love to give birth at the comfort of my own home. I want delayed cord clamping. If possible I would want nitrous oxide.
I plan on having a home birth. Would like a doula that’s Christian based. A herbalist. I don’t like taking medicine
I think I might feel safer birthing at home. I want a voice. I also (as a first time mom/ first pregnancy) want information on child birth and all of the decisions i will need to make. i don’t know our budget yet, I just want someone I can trust with me and my baby.
Need help coming up with a birth plan which best for me in my baby. I also would need support in being educated with some changes that’s going on with my body
I’m planning to give birth at the hospital, I’m not sure if insurance covers I’m interested on just getting more information and guidance
Hospital birth , English only providers , dimmed lights , water and or laughing gas for pain , partner cut umbilical cord , cord get cut when it turns white, walk the halls or use birthing ball to help with dilation
I want to understand lactation and keep my placenta
Reasonably affordable midwife, ideally for homebirth. Extremely holistic approach, absolute bare minimum. Looking for support with high mobility, low intervention labor. Primarily seeking midwife who is familiar with warning signs/problem occurrences in the event that labor should be continued or moved to a hospital location. But absolutely would prefer a homebirth. First time mom. Also looking for potential breastfeeding and postpartum support, just to help get my footing. Happy to elaborate on anything here; please get in touch! Looking forward to hearing from you!
I plan to give birth either at the hospital or at home, no preference. We do not wish to have an out-of-pocket of more than $4000. I'd love if my provider had more than 5 years experience, female, and certified to provide me with all the care i need throughout my pregnancy and after. I am 30 years old and my husband is 32. I have tricare-select because my husband is in the military (reservist).
At home birth $2500 budget Natural and safely possibly a water birth
Am having a natural birth/water birth at home uneducated with juat husband. I prefer no constant monitoring or cervical checks during labor.I just want a midwife present in case of an emergency like post hemorrhage or assistance if breech, during final hrs of labor/transit I n stage.Ive had 2 water births before 18yrs agi last one.
My last birth was a freebirth at home, i would prefer to have a medical team of some sort on hand for a homebirth this time. I am currently uncertain on a budget. I would like to plan a homebirth if pregnancy remains low risk. Labor in a quiet, calm environment. Dim lighting. Minimal unnecessary interruptions. Freedom to move, walk, squat, kneel, or change positions as desired. Access to water for comfort measures and possible waterbirth if appropriate. I would prefer non medication comfort measures first. Water immersion, position changes, breathing techniques, massage and counter pressure, and encouragement from support people/team. I would like to avoid unnecessary interventions when i and the baby are doing well. Informed consent before any non-emergency procedures. I would also like to have clear explanations of risks, benefits, and alternatives before decisions are made whenever possible. For delivery i want to be able to push according to my bodys urges rather than directed pushing if safe unless i ask otherwise . Freedom to choose birthing position. I want the baby on my chest immediately if both of us are stable. The golden hour is very important to me. I want delayed cord clamping. I want my partners involved in the delivery and cutting the cord. I would also like to deliver our placenta naturally if safe. I would like to initiate breastfeeding as soon as possible. Routine newborn procedures delayed until after bonding when medically appropriate. Keep mother and baby together whenever possible. Transfer to hospital if medically necessary. Preference for clear communication throughout any transfer. I would prefer a provider who is open minded to odd family dynamics and who has been practicing for at least 5-6 years. I am 28 years old, this is my fifth pregnancy and hopefully fourth birth.
