I plan to give birth at Flagler hospital in Saint Augustine. I am hoping to pay little to nothing. I hope to have a calm, natural birth, with dim lights, in a natural position for me, and where I can let my body do the work instead of pushing and tearing. I am hoping for a doula that is non judgmental, open minded, and has a calming presence, but can be stern with the hospital employees if needed. I plan to give birth at Gulf Coast hospital in Panama City FL. I am mainly looking for someone who can assist with my child’s birth and ensuring all my desires are advocated for. My birth preferences/plan essentially boil down to wanting as little medical intervention as possible while still giving birth in a hospital (in case something serious/life threatening happen). I also have plans to exclusively breast feed and I’d love help to make sure that I start off on the right foot with that journey. I do not have an estimated budget as I’m sure the costs associated to what I am needing are very customized and specific to my needs. I am open to discussing what any doula has to offer me and what they believe the appropriate going rate for their services should be. I’d then make an informed decision from there if I believe it’s appropriate to move forward with their support.

I will be using epidural. Certified doula that can advocate for my needs and help through the labor especially if it’s been a long labor. I was 32 hours in labor with my first and did not feel supported by the nurses. I am 33 and seeking a doula that can support me through every step of labor and delivery including postpartum Mainly hospital support and the night after to help with self care and breastfeeding as a lactation consultant never met me the first time.

I use OB/GYN Associates of Miami LLC and plan to give birth at the hospital they use, Baptist Hospital of Miami at Kendall Dr. I am prepared to pay the insurance deductible, hopefully no more than $500.
