I’m looking for a doula who can help advocate for us during a hospital birth. This is my first birth/pregnancy and I want someone who is educated and understands this world. I know the hospital environment can get hectic and I want someone who can protect my husband and i’s calm during the birthing process. I would also love help with breastfeeding as I haven’t done it before, and potentially postpartum help if I need it (i do think my mom will be helping me, but I’m not sure what to expect). I’m hoping to avoid an epidural, but I’m still looking into different pain management options.

I do t know what budget to have as I do t know what is a realistic amount I really want to just have a different experience My first birth I want to be more in control and try to do no epidural and also have help learning the best breast feeding technique I’ll be wanting to give birth advent health celebration

Plan to birth at west Kendall Baptist hospital. Our budget is very minimal as we wish to use health insurance to help cover the majority of the costs. Our birth plan is very simple I wish to birth our first born as unmedicated as possible. I wish to avoid any medications unless medically necessary. I want to allow my body to do what it’s suppose to do with myself managing pain and controlling my mind, thoughts and emotions. I wish for the provider to have years at least 3 year of experience and to be medically certified. Not a must but to speak Spanish as their second language. I am 30 years old with a medical history of asthma. I am a certified physician assistant that works in Craniofacial in pediatrics. I am looking to have my doula visit postpartum to give me some pointers after birth and help with breastfeeding. I currently have united healthcare insurance.

I plan to give birth at Flagler hospital in Saint Augustine. I am hoping to pay little to nothing. I hope to have a calm, natural birth, with dim lights, in a natural position for me, and where I can let my body do the work instead of pushing and tearing. I am hoping for a doula that is non judgmental, open minded, and has a calming presence, but can be stern with the hospital employees if needed. I plan to give birth at Winnie Palmer Hospital in Orlando, FL I am seeking a doula that would be covered under Tricare insurance I plan to have labor and delivery that is safest for baby. I will be using epidural. Certified doula that can advocate for my needs and help through the labor especially if it’s been a long labor. I was 32 hours in labor with my first and did not feel supported by the nurses. I am 33 and seeking a doula that can support me through every step of labor and delivery including postpartum Mainly hospital support and the night after to help with self care and breastfeeding as a lactation consultant never met me the first time.
