Hello, I'm due in December and looking for a doula to support me during the birth. My last birth was not ideal, I was given too much medication, kept throwing up which would delay me being able to push, and my baby's heartbeat stopped at one point which I didn't even know because I was so drugged. I am looking for a doula to be me and my baby's advocate in that room to hopefully have a healthier birthing experience this time.

I'm looking for a doula who can help me through my first birthing experience. My insurance requires me to birth at Virginia Hospital Center and I've always been the kind of person to put half my trust in medical science and half my trust in holistic belief, I want to do everything I can to train my body and mind to be ready for the beautiful journey of childbirth. I want to build an ideal birth plan and have a doula that can help me Advocate it when I am in the zone during labor. I have a question due to my first pregnancy was a c-section and my second pregnancy was a horrible experience where I requested a c-section would it be carry for me to want a try for a natural birth my first pregnancy I dilated 4 1/2 centimeter before I had an emergency c-section but my second I was dilated 1 and contractions were back to back but no assistance with breaking water or stripping cervix nor would they let me walk the halls due to my doctor was not there. I just want to know where I stand with all my options before I get boxed in with my doctor I have now who says no but I have no health issues nor was I told this is a high risk pregnancy but I will say I’ll be turning 35 in august before I deliver
