Dominique was amazing as my doula fir our first baby! She was extremely informative and open to talk about any and every question I had. My favorite part about her services were the prenatal stretches and birth plan review just to ensure I was in co stroller and aware of my options. Amazing bedside manners, support and knowledge. All around amazing!!

I’m Savannah, a certified birth doula, lactation support, and advocate for empowering birth experiences. My journey into birth work began with my own pregnancies. One that left me feeling unheard, and another that healed me and changed my perspective. After experiencing how crucial support, education, and advocacy are, I knew I wanted to help other women feel confident, informed, and supported during their births. Your Birth, Your Voice
! I believe birth should be a respected and personal experience. Too often, mothers are told what to do instead of being given the information to make their own decisions. That’s why I’m committed to: * Educating mothers about their choices * Offering unbiased, evidence-based support * Helping families navigate birth and postpartum with confidence You deserve to be heard, and your birth should reflect your voice. Whether you’re planning a hospital, birth center, or home birth, I’m here to support and encourage you every step of the way.

Because of Savannah, I had the birth I wanted to have. She listened and remembered everything I said, going into detail in our conversations with me, making sure I knew that I could make my birth beautiful. Being so supported leading up to my birth was essential. This translated into my natural delivery by giving me the confidence to listen to my body. She is so incredibly gifted, I cannot imagine giving birth without her there.

Hello! My name is Tab’itha, better known as Tabby, and I’m a passionate certified professional midwife currently residing in Mesquite, Texas. I was born and raised in the Stop 6 area of Fort Worth, TX, and I am a proud mother of three teenage girls. From a young age, I always wanted to be a "baby doctor." My grandmother would often say, "You will be a doctor, and your sister will be a lawyer." Although I encountered quite a few roadblocks and detours along the way, I eventually found my way back to what my grandmother had always believed in, but in a way that resonates with me even more—becoming a midwife. I later discovered that midwifery was in my blood; my great-grandmother was a trusted midwife in her small community in Mississippi, which further inspired my journey. I graduated from Southwest Tech with an associate degree in Health Science and Midwifery in December 2024 and passed my NARM exam in April 2025, becoming fully licensed as a midwife in Texas. I am currently finishing up my Bachelor’s in Nursing at Arizona College, further enhancing my skills and knowledge in healthcare. My journey into birth work began in 2018 when I trained as a birth doula through DONA. As a doula, I have attended over 150 in-hospital and out-of-hospital births. When COVID peaked, I was fortunate enough to continue support in the hospital. It was during this time that I realized I needed to acquire the education and skills to become a community midwife sooner than I had originally planned. During my schooling, I attended an additional 95 births and worked with several well-respected midwives and OB-GYNs in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, gaining invaluable experience. I have also acquired skills and experience as a bereavement and cesarean/VBAC support specialist, allowing me to provide comprehensive care to families during significant moments in their lives. I believe in the power of compassionate care and informed choices, striving to create a safe and nurturing environment for my clients. My end goal is to become a certified nurse midwife and nurse practitioner, bringing holistic and woman-centered care to communities that lack representation, including the area where I grew up. As an avid homeschooler, I enjoy engaging with my daughters in their education while also finding joy in my hobbies such as sewing, crafts, hosting workshops for young girls, and assisting in the offices I hold in my church. My goal is to continue growing in my practice while providing exceptional care to those I serve.

Hi! My name is Rebeca Gedeon and I am a certified birth doula located in Weatherford, TX. I love supporting moms in all labor and delivery locations, and with any kind of provider. My first experience with birth was when my mom delivered my brother under the supervision of a traditional midwife over 24 years ago. I have since had 6 children of my own, and those labors and deliveries fueled my passion for supporting moms. I have personal experience with twins and NICU. I have supported moms through their dream births as well as birth plans that needed adjustment for medically necessary reasons. One of my biggest strengths is supporting mom in what they wish, but also being able to slow down and explain what is going on if plans have to adjust rapidly. I will labor with you at home if you desire, even if you plan to transfer to another location, and I will follow you into the OR if needed and desired. I am not only a certified labor and birth doula, I have added training with body balancing techniques to help you and your body navigate labor. I am familiar with Spinning Babies techniques. I am a StillBirthday student doula. And I am currently in training to become a placenta encapsulation specialist. I am also a Christian doula and love to incorporate quiet prayer and intercession into my care when it is desired. I've watched the Lord work miracles for families and believe in the power of prayer in the labor space. When I am not at a birth I spend my time homeschooling my children and playing with my children. I also greatly enjoy floral work, knitting and crocheting, and baking!

Hello, I am a certified postpartum doula. I have worked with babies/children since I was 13. I babysat and nannied throughout my teenage years. In college I worked at numerous daycare facilities (newborn-preschool). I earned my bachelors degree from the University of North Texas in early childhood education. I taught for 5 years in 2nd grade and in PE. In 2008 we welcomed our first (of six) baby. I now have 5 boys and a daughter that I homeschool. My youngest is now six and I miss the newborn season!! I recently got my certification to be a nighttime postpartum doula. My goal is to support the new momma (and family) and help them to enjoy and cherish this quick season of having a new baby. I breastfed all my babies so I understand the struggles and joy of this as well.

When my husband and I first found out we were expecting, I started researching birth like a madwoman - determined to leave no stone unturned! I wanted to be prepared, but most of all, I was afraid. I was terrified of the unknown and all the horror stories I had seen on TV and heard from other women. As I educated myself, I became fascinated with birth and the amazing way God has created women's bodies to bring life into the world. My anxieties were soothed; birth didn’t have to be scary and miserable! It can be purposeful and empowering! I was able to experience doula support firsthand as a first-time mom, and the difference it made to have someone who knows birth and what was normal, to hold my hand and apply counterpressure to my aching back, and to encourage and support my husband as well was huge. Shortly after my first birth experience, I started the processs to become a doula myself. During my certification, I was able to aid in several different labors. It was a blessing to be able to learn with these mamas during such a beautiful and intimate part of their lives. Now, I am blessed to walk with women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum pretty consistently, and I can say that there is absolutely nothing like watching women achieve their birth goals together with their husbands. That moment of disbelief, triumph, and sweet relief when baby is born and they realize it is over and they DID IT! I find myself praising God all the more after each experience!

I found Cynthia in a panic around 36 weeks pregnant, after my original doula didn’t work out. I had accepted the fact that I wouldn’t have a doula & it was probably too late to find someone. Cynthia heard my story and quickly took me under her wing. She helped me with prepping for labor, gave me tools to get the baby in an optimal position, & as a bonus, became a bff to my toddler! This was my first home birthing experience so I was so thankful she was willing to help me. When it came time that I went into labor, Cynthia was quick to be here & assist me. I labored extremely quick & there is no way I could have handled my wild labor without her. She kept me calm & reminded me I could do it & to breath through the contractions. She helped me clear my head space & stay grounded. I will forever be thankful for Cynthia & highly recommend her! If I decide to have more babies, I will definitely be using her again.

My goal as a doula is to keep you calm, peaceful, and fearless with lots of love and positive affirmations. Let me help you make your "dream birth" come true.

Recent review

I wasn’t sure I would need a doula or not. This was my second unmedicated birth and my first went well so we questioned the value. When I tell you it made my birth experience tremendously different, it made a world of difference. My birth this time was about half the time of my first and the contractions picked up quickly. It was amazing to have someone guide my labor the whole way, time contractions for me, play my playlist, help do hip squeezes and comfort measures before I even asked for them. There was a point when I had stalled and my midwife suggested breaking my water to help progress things. I was in laborland and couldn’t think at that point, and Jody guided me through the risk and reward factors to help me make an informed choice. Having her helped my husband be less anxious because he had her knowledge and support to lean on. She knew when to step in and when to step back. If birth had a best friend, it would be Jody. I highly recommend her to anyone in or out of hospital for any birth, but especially if your goal is an unmedicated birth, book her now and thank me later!

First, as a sister and a friend, then as a mother myself, I have seen the medical system sew fear and doubt into women regarding their body's capability to achieve what it was intended to. The truth is, childbirth is both natural and miraculous. I believe that every woman has the right to decide what interventions she wants to use in childbirth without the use of fear, but instead through true informed consent. I continue learning daily how best to help each new mama, both through lived experiences and through research, and will gladly share my knowledge. I also believe that every woman should be supported through the most vulnerable and powerful moment of her life. In a system that pushes women away from their natural state, I am here to be that calming support and fierce advocate.

Here’s a thoughtful and heartfelt review you can use or personalize further: Review for My Amazing Doula I truly don’t have enough words to express how grateful I am for my doula. From the moment we arrived at the hospital and realized I was being put into labor unexpectedly, she jumped into action and never left my side. She was calm, collected, and incredibly supportive through every twist and turn. She advocated for me in ways I didn’t even know I needed — asking the right questions, helping me understand my options, and making sure my voice was heard in a very overwhelming environment. Her presence was reassuring and grounding, and I honestly don’t know how I would have managed without her. She kept me calm, hydrated, and motivated during every stage. Her attention to detail and ability to anticipate my needs was amazing. I felt genuinely cared for, and that made all the difference in my experience. If you’re looking for a doula who is compassionate, strong, knowledgeable, and fully committed to your well-being, look no further. She is truly a gift.

LaDereka was and has continued to be our emotional and healthcare question support through pregnancy as a teacher (daddy boot camp), doula and newborn care specialist. She was key to helping us understand our options and what to expect when my pregnancy went from normal and healthy to a diagnosis of gestational hypertension with bed rest at 34 weeks. LaDereka helped us rewrite our birth preferences to accommodate an induction at 37 weeks and led us through the different interventions and natural options we could try before agreeing to an intervention. LaDereka remained by our side through out the labor process as a trusted guide and second opinion with which to weigh the nurse and doctor’s suggestions and feedback. It was great to be able to ask questions and understand the process even when our nurse was attending to other patients. Although we ended up delivering our happy and healthy baby girl via caesarean, I know we tried everything we could have for a natural birth. As our newborn care specialist LaDereka was there on night 1 to ease our transition from hospital to home. Dad is getting to sleep through the night and takes over when her shift ends in the morning and mom is enjoying 8+ hours of sleep each night (with pumping mixed in!). Not only has LaDereka’s care of our newborn allowed us to prioritize sleep and my recovery, she’s a wonderful resource for lactation and all things baby care.
