Lindsey is a BEST certified birth and postpartum doula, as well as a childbirth educator. She first felt the seed being planted in her heart to become a doula after the birth of her first son, but it wasn’t until after the birth of her second son that she dived fully into training and becoming a doula. Educating, serving, and supporting women are some of the things that bring her the greatest joy. Lindsey is always seeking to learn new things to be able to better support her clients. A wife, mother of two, and proud Houstonian. Giving birth to my first child was a transformative experience. I quickly realized how much I didn't know about breastfeeding and the numerous options available to me during birth. This lack of knowledge was overwhelming, and I couldn't help but think about other first-time moms who might be feeling the same way. That moment sparked a deep desire within me to do more— to guide and support other women as they transition into motherhood. Driven by this passion, I became a life coach for mothers, helping them navigate the beautiful yet challenging transition into motherhood. But as my passion for maternal support grew, I felt motivated to do even more. After much reflection, I decided to pursue a career as a doula.

I received my Certification in Labor and Birth and Postpartum Doula in 2023 through The Midwifery Institute. I am also certified in CPR and First Aid. I have been married for 14 years and have three beautiful children, aged 18, 14, and 11. Over the past two years, I focused on my own family and did not take on any clients; however, I am now ready and looking to serve individuals and families in Waller, Magnolia, Tomball, and surrounding areas. I currently volunteer with my local pregnancy center helping to educate and support women and families that are expecting.

My name is Laporcha Foster most people call me LaLa. I am from Houston, Texas and I am a mother to 4 beautiful souls (3 girls and 1 boy). I am a traveling birth/postpartum doula who is also an end of life doula (helping others transition over to the after life). I became a doula after realizing nursing school wasn’t for me. I wanted to be a L&D nurse then a Nurse Practitioner so I could deliver babies. One day I was talking to my spiritual coach who told me my ancestors told her I was a medicine healing lady, and my life purpose was to be a midwife. I never thought to be one even though I heard so many people talked about having midwives and doula when I was pregnant with my son. I decided to do some research and I fell in love with the results and became a certified trained birth/postpartum doula through Madriella Doula Network. Being other women and families support system is my top priority. Rather it’s in a home, birthing center, or hospital I’m there!
