I began my career as a postpartum doula and newborn specialist in 2009, and have since learned a thing or two about navigating this season of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. Over all, I have twenty years of experience in women’s health, postpartum mothers and newborn care. My name is Joy Lynn, a birth doula in DFW. I feel confident and called to support mothers as they birth their sweet babies; to empower women as new mothers are born. A little bit about myself: I recently began my journey to become a birth doula, with aspirations to pursue midwifery school and eventually become a Certified Professional Midwife (CPM).
