I’d like to give birth at home same with my husband by my mom is very against it and currently am set to give birth in a hospital I like for help a couple days or weeks before the birth and I can’t afford anything more then like $600 total
Need someone present during labor as well as someone to give tips and advice to prepare for labor
I’m giving birth at a birthing center (Midwives+Co in ft worth) and I am needing a doula for labor support. It is my first time giving birth. My goal is to go natural, water birth with nitrous oxide for pain management. I am focused on staying as natural as possible, and letting my body do what it was created to do with only most necessary interventions.
Support for birth in hospital. Interested in delayed cord clamping and possibly laboring down method, avoiding c section unless medically necessary
I am in search of a doula and planning to give birth at Heart of Huston birthing center. I don’t really have a birth plan as I’m open to most things but obviously going through the birth center it’s all natural! Ideally would like to stay under $1500
I plan to give birth at a hospital, I would like to use as little medical intervention as possible. No pain meds, delayed cord clamping. I am high risk but only due to my age, 42. For postpartum we are looking for light cleaning and help with meals. We prefer a provider who has experience advocating for Black mothers. Also a woman of Christian faith is preferred but not required.
I am looking for a dula to support my hospital birth and advocate for me as I am from another state and have zero family here. Night Nanny I would like to find out my options and price quote a night nanny. I would like to consider a night nanny for my twins who will be born this fall.
I just want a different birth experience for my last baby Medicaid
I plan on having a home birth. I’m not sure on budget because I don’t know the average cost of a midwife. I would like someone with at least 3-4 years experience.

I am planning to have my baby at home and I’m looking for a midwife to assist with this.
I plan to give birth in a hospital but want to birth at home for as long as possible. I’d like to have a natural unmedicated birth. Our budget is probably around or less than 2k
I plan to give birth in a hospital, most likely within the Texas Health hospital system near Lancaster, Texas. I am currently early in my pregnancy and want to build my care team as soon as possible so everything is established well in advance. My estimated budget is flexible depending on experience, services offered, and whether insurance is accepted. Ideally, I would like to stay within a reasonable range, but I am willing to invest more for the right provider who aligns with my birth goals and provides strong support throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. I would appreciate transparency in pricing and payment options. I have TRICARE Select and would prefer a provider who accepts TRICARE or can provide documentation for reimbursement. My birth plan is very important to me. I want a family-centered, supportive, and calm environment. I plan to have my husband, my children, my mom, and my sister present during delivery. I want delayed cord clamping for as long as medically safe, and it is very important to me that my husband is able to cut the cord. I prefer minimal interventions unless medically necessary, and I want a provider who respects my voice, explains everything clearly, and supports informed decision-making. I am open to pain management options but want to feel in control of my experience. For provider requirements, I am looking for someone who is certified (doula certification required if applicable), experienced (preferably several years working with births), and comfortable working in a hospital setting. Experience with military families or TRICARE patients is a huge plus. Strong communication, a calming presence, and the ability to advocate for me during labor are very important. If a second language is spoken, that is a bonus but not required. The care recipient is myself. I am currently in my first trimester. This is not my first pregnancy, so I am familiar with the process, but I want a more supported and intentional experience this time. No special medical needs at this time, but I do want guidance throughout pregnancy, labor, and postpartum recovery. Additional duties I would like support with include emotional support during pregnancy, labor coaching, assistance with comfort measures, and postpartum check-ins. Light guidance with newborn care is appreciated, but I am not looking for full-time newborn care, sleep training, or housekeeping services. Overall, I am looking for someone who feels like a true support system, not just a service. I want to feel heard, respected, and cared for throughout this entire journey.
This is my 4th pregnancy, 2nd baby to make it this far. I plan to give birth in my local hospital with my Doctor who’s been there for me for my previous birth! However, I have a dream of having a more holistic birth and would love to have a home birth or birth center birth. Or have a doula present at the hospital if I could. I live in Port Lavaca, Texas so it’s kind of rural. My birth plan with my oldest was very holistic, no epidural, no intervention if at all possible. My doctor followed everything up until my placenta and I was hemorrhaging and was put on Pitocin. I would prefer someone who has attended lots births with different scenarios and in different environments. Someone who can be bold as well for family and friends when I can’t be. Advocate for me when I forget or am asleep or in event of medical emergency. I am 34 will be 35 years old by due date. I breastfed my oldest until 2 years and 11 months. I plan to also breastfeed this baby. Estimated budget: something reasonable. My husband is a Pastor and I will have to be out of work during my maternity leave. With already paying for the Doctor/Midwife, we’d hope for a reasonable price. I will do research for running rates.
consultation for pregnancy care and child birthing
1.) hospital 2.) Medicaid 3.) natural epidural 4.)
I wouldn't mind a hospital birth, but a water birth is my choice. I have insurance with Aetna, so whatever my insurance doesn't cover is my budget...? If you don't work with insurance, ideally I'm not trying to go over 6k. I prefer a holistic and natural approach. I need someone I can contact easily that will respond withing a couple hours and not 24 hours. I prefer a midwife/doula that is a POC, has a background in ancient traditional birthing, and knows herbs better than me. I don't want Westernized typical American care where I'm just another dollar to the facility and not a patient growing a little human. Ideally, my midwife/doula is compassionate, can be funny where space allows, and is very knowledgeable and can handle emergencies if the case cause for it rather than automatically pressing for cesarean.
