I am looking to do a home birth with a midwife experienced in VBAC. I would like no medication and the least amount of medical intervention possible.
First time mom, have thyroid nodule from the past that has been in remission till now - 9 weeks pregnant - but want to give birth the most natural and non-medicated way as possible. Interested in delayed cord clamp (more delayed than 1 minute) and no vaccines. So far, plan to give birth in a hospital or birthing center connected or next to a hospital. Unsure the normal cost, but budget is 2k. Thank you,

I plan to have an unmedicated birth in the hospital (UTMB Galveston), I want as few interventions as possible. I'd like a doula's help at the birth, with starting to breastfeed, and perhaps a few visits postpartum. My budget is $2,000.
I will be giving birth at Baylor All saints in Fort Worth. Not sure about a budget yet I just want the best support. My first couple pregnancies were rough. I’m in a season of trying to enjoy it all and make sure this time around I have endless support through my process. I need help with a birth plan. I know I want to try unmedicated, I want to set the mood in my delivery room with blue lights, aroma therapy and white noise or nature sounds. I plan to deliver using the squat bar method and I do want to use a mirror to see it all. I just want to be present, safe, healthy and feel in control.
