I’m Savannah, a certified birth doula, lactation support, and advocate for empowering birth experiences. My journey into birth work began with my own pregnancies—one that left me feeling unheard, and another that healed me and changed my perspective. After experiencing how crucial support, education, and advocacy are, I knew I wanted to help other women feel confident, informed, and supported during their births. Your Birth, Your Voice
! I believe birth should be a respected and personal experience. Too often, mothers are told what to do instead of being given the information to make their own decisions. That’s why I’m committed to: * Educating mothers about their choices * Offering unbiased, evidence-based support * Helping families navigate birth and postpartum with confidence You deserve to be heard, and your birth should reflect your voice. Whether you’re planning a hospital, birth center, or home birth, I’m here to support and encourage you every step of the way.

Because of Savannah, I had the birth I wanted to have. She listened and remembered everything I said, going into detail in our conversations with me, making sure I knew that I could make my birth beautiful. Being so supported leading up to my birth was essential. This translated into my natural delivery by giving me the confidence to listen to my body. She is so incredibly gifted, I cannot imagine giving birth without her there.

My name is Genicia Battle, known in the Ifá community as Ifáfúnké Àṣọre. I am a Full Circle Doula and Birth Companion, trained through the SMC Full Circle Doula Birth Companion Training. A program rooted in the cultural, historical, and spiritual traditions of African American midwifery and birth work. I became a doula because every birthing person deserves to feel seen, supported, and spiritually connected throughout their journey. I know the difference it makes to birth in a space that feels warm, honoring, and sacred. My vision is to offer families not only emotional and spiritual support, but also culturally rooted healing tools that nurture the womb, body, and soul. Birth is not just a moment! It is a portal! My purpose is to ensure that every mother steps through it feeling whole, powerful, and profoundly connected to her divine nature.

Recent review

I am honored to have crossed paths with Genicia. She is truly a blessing in my life. I shared my pregnancy journey and expressed my desire for a holistic doula. Well, let me tell you, she was incredibly responsive to my texts and calls, no matter the time of day. She is incredibly knowledgeable and always has a listening ear, ready to provide solutions. She is not afraid to let me know that certain aspects of my pregnancy concerns do not fall within her scope of practice and that WE should discuss them with my OB. I truly appreciate her willingness to provide me with a curated tea I take daily, affirmations to boost my spirits, and a listening ear to my concerns. If you are in Texas area and seeking a knowledgeable, understanding, and holistic doula, she will always be my top choice. I still have a few more months of my pregnancy journey, but I am confident that you will see more written reviews from me as we explore the transitioning times of birthing and postpartum together.

Hello everyone, my name is Trisha. I live in Fort Worth, TX and I serve Fort Worth and Dallas. I recently moved here from New Jersey with my husband, 5 kids, cat and dog and I love it here! I have always wanted to be in birthwork, since I had my first child at 18, but never knew where I would fit in. A few years ago I learned what a doula was and knew that that was where I belong. I love all things pregnancy and childbirth and love to learn more about it. I have worked in restaurants my whole life so I am very good at multi tasking and thinking on my feet and solving problems. I am a newer doula, however I have been helping friends, co workers and family forever with childbirth. I love to be there to help during the most amazing time of everyone's lives and know what a privilege it is to be involved in such a emotional and private time. In my free time I love exploring my new home with my kids and finding new places to see! Family is everything so I love to spend all free time with them.

Hi moms! My name is Samantha, I’m a mom of 4, lactation enthusiast, pet lover, Army veteran and #DONA certified doula! I’m excited to be walking in my new found purpose of supporting moms through their pregnancy, birth, and postpartum! I believe every woman deserves to feel seen, heard, & held during childbirth. I show up to remind you that your voice matters, your body knows what to do, and you do not have to walk this journey alone. I, myself, have had 4 different types of births- emergency c-section, scheduled c-section, vaginal birth after 2 c-sections w/epidural, & an unmedicated water birth in the comfort of my own home. However you plan to bring your little one earth side, I stand beside you every step of the way.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Samantha. From the very beginning, she was supportive, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. She took the time to listen to my concerns, answer every question with patience, and make sure I felt prepared for each stage of the journey. During labor, her calm presence made such a difference. She advocated for me when I needed it, reminded me of my birth preferences, and offered comfort and encouragement that kept me grounded. Whether it was suggesting position changes, guiding my breathing, or simply holding my hand, she knew exactly what I needed in the moment. Beyond the birth, she continued to check in and provide resources that helped me transition smoothly into postpartum life. Her compassion, professionalism, and dedication truly exceeded my expectations. If you are looking for a doula who will not only support you but also empower you, I wholeheartedly recommend Samantha. She made my experience more positive, peaceful, and memorable than I ever could have imagined.

Synia and I began our transformative journey together in October 2024, when I was 8 months pregnant. We had just made the move to Cedar Hill and I was struggling to adjust to my new OBGYN office, but Synia's unwavering support and advocacy instantly lifted my spirits. She empowered me to take control of my pregnancy, arming me with invaluable techniques to remain calm and centered. Her wealth of knowledge and expertise not only benefited me but also enlightened my husband, creating a sense of unity and reassurance. As my delivery approached, Synia's patience and reassurance were a beacon of hope, even when things didn't go as planned. Her selfless dedication and energy were instrumental in ensuring a healthy delivery and a thriving baby. Synia's exceptional doula services were truly a game-changer, and I firmly believe that our connection blossomed into a lifelong friendship. As a Certified Doula, I love walking beside families through the transitions of pregnancy, labor and postpartum. I believe having access to positive support during those times contributes not only to better birth outcomes, but stronger bonds within the family and community as well. A mother of six myself, and while I have many interests and hobbies, like gardening and reading (SO much reading!) my knowledge around birth and motherhood has been a constant thread of connection with those I meet. I am honored when families value my input by bringing their questions to me! I am always seeking to learn more and have no hesitation in pointing clients to other resources if I am unsure of an answer. I strive to encourage an informed, prepared, and calm birth environment for my clients, meeting challenges that arise with patience and proven techniques.

I’m Em - mama of many, wife to my best friend and new homestead-er. I created my photography business in 2018 not knowing exactly what I wanted to capture, I just knew I wanted to help those in my community save their memories for a lifetime. Fast forward to 2021, I attended my first birth, a sweet home birth. After that I know that birth work was exactly what I was looking for - it has become my passion. In winter of 2022 I got my doula certification to serve local mamas during their pregnancy, labor and postpartum. Now, today in 2024 I have served over 19 mamas and counting and have been published for my birth photography workin a magazine and I have won awards on my work. I enrolled at MCU as a student midwife in 2023 with the intentions to graduate with a bachelors of science in midwifery in 2027. I am currently serving those in the Johnstown, OH + surrounding area.

Hello! I'm Melinda, wife to Seth, and mother to Abigail, Luke, Keturah, Naomi, Isaac, Elijah, and Mattias. While my family lived in South Africa(2018-2019), I was blessed to become a certified doula through their WOMBS (women offering mothers birth support) program. Along with in-person classes, I experienced hands-on doula opportunities with laboring women in 2 different hospital locations in Johannesburg. I believe this experience opened my heart to truly seeing the importance of having a strong support system during pregnancy, labor, delivery, and postpartum. Children are a blessing from the Lord and every mother deserves the best through her pregnancy/delivery. I personally have experienced 3 hospital births, 2 birth center deliveries, and 2 home births. I am here to support you and help you make the most memorable and peaceful birth possible. If you are pregnant and would like the support of a doula, please reach out to me. I would love to meet you and see if I am the right doula for you.
