Hello there! My name is Sharon Jensen-Cody, and I'm thrilled to connect with you here. In my world, I share my life with my wonderful husband and our 2 kids who fill our days with joy and surprises. My journey into the world of birth-work stems from a deep-rooted passion for pregnancy and childbirth that took hold of me at a young age. The pivotal moment came when I witnessed my sister giving birth when I was just 17. The duality of the experience, both challenging and profoundly beautiful, left an indelible mark on me. My mission as a DONA trained Birth Doula is rooted in empowering women to shape their birth experiences according to their desires. I am dedicated to championing maternal-fetal health and providing unwavering support to women as they embark on one of life's most incredible journeys. I am here to walk alongside you, offering mental, emotional, and physical guidance to make your birth journey a truly empowering and memorable one. I am also a certified pediatric sleep consultant, passionate about teaching families how to gain restorative sleep with their little ones. I look forward to the privilege of being a part of your birth story and helping you navigate this extraordinary time in your life.

Working with Sharon was one of the most reassuring parts of our entire birth experience. From the very beginning, her communication style put us at ease. She paid close attention to the details of our birth plan and made sure our preferences were understood and respected throughout the process. One thing we especially appreciated was her flexibility around when to join us at the hospital. She checked in often, helped us navigate the early stages from afar, and arrived right when we entered active labor. From that moment on, her presence made a noticeable difference. She helped lower our stress, and we trusted her implicitly in how she advocated for us with the nursing staff. Her strong rapport with the team at Woodland Hills Kaiser Permanente made everything feel that much smoother. Sharon’s depth of experience came through in every interaction. She was calm when we needed calm, confident when we needed guidance, and always focused on making sure we felt supported. We’re incredibly grateful for her and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to any family looking for a doula who is both highly skilled and genuinely compassionate. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful experience working with Camila as our postpartum doula. She is incredibly sweet, sincere, flexible, and supportive. As my due date got closer, she proactively checked in on me and offered help, which made me feel truly cared for. When I was admitted to the hospital, she was consistently available and ready to support us which gives me so much peace of mind. Camila worked beautifully with our entire family, including my mom and my husband. She genuinely cared about our baby, and we always felt very comfortable with her. She brought a warm, calming presence into our home and quickly became someone we trusted. What I appreciated most is that Camila offers guidance from her experience while still respecting each family’s preferences and way of doing things. She gave us helpful advice on sleep routines, bedtime and wake-up routines, swaddling, bathing, breastfeeding, and pumping. When I considered pumping to get more overnight rest, she offered practical guidance. Later, when I had blockages and wanted to return to exclusive breastfeeding, she was 100% supportive and helped me work toward that goal.Camila is also very reliable and punctual. Despite she lives far from us, we never had any issues with timing. She was always flexible, dependable, and easy to communicate with.Beyond her knowledge and professionalism, Camila is simply lovely to be around. She is like a friend to the whole family (she got us the best egg tarts when she heard that I like egg tarts) than just someone helping us postpartum. We truly enjoyed working with her and would highly recommend Camila to any family who has the opportunity to work with her.

We are incredibly grateful for Leticia and cannot recommend her enough as a night doula. She was with us from the day we brought our baby home and supported our family through the first six weeks postpartum while we recovered and adjusted to life with a newborn. Her guidance, knowledge, and reassurance made a huge difference during a challenging time. She taught us countless tips and tricks for newborn care, helped us navigate reflux issues, and provided practical solutions during difficult nights. Her calm presence, experience, and genuine care gave us confidence as first-time parents and allowed us to get much-needed rest while recovering. My husband and I cannot recommend Luz enough! She was with us overnight from the day we came home with our baby boy until he was around 2 months old. We were very nervous to have someone take care of our little one but right from the start Luz put us at ease. She was warm and extremely knowledgeable. This was our first child and Luz educated us on so many things, without her we would not have known where to start. Our son is a very good sleeper and we attribute that starting with Luz. It was clear that she genuinely cared for our son and we will be forever grateful to her. Over 3 years later and she still checks in on us to see how he is doing. We would 1000% hire Luz again and if you do you will not regret it.

From the moment I stepped into the world of birth and postpartum work, I knew this was my calling. I’m a Birth & Postpartum Doula and Newborn & Infant Care Specialist serving families across the Bay Area and East Bay, with a background grounded in evidence-based care, cultural sensitivity, and a genuine passion for supporting parents during one of the most transformative seasons of their lives. My training includes Cross-Certification through ProDoula as a Certified Postpartum & Infant Care Doula, Hospital Friendly Doula (HFD) Certification as a Birth and Postpartum Doula, Newborn Care Specialist certification through the University of Colorado, CPR & First Aid through the Menlo Park Fire Department, CERT Member through the Menlo Park Fire Department, Child Development through Abilene, continuing education in Lactation (UCSD), Infant Massage, and professional development in Sleep Shaping/Sleep Training through Summer Sleep Secrets. I am also an active volunteer doula at Alta Bates Summit Medical Center, supporting birthing people and families from diverse backgrounds. Families often describe my approach as a blend of warmth, intuition, and grounded professionalism. I deeply believe in meeting each family where they are — without judgment, without pressure, and with a plan that reflects their unique rhythms, identities, and goals. I proudly support LGBTQ+ families, offering fully inclusive, gender-affirming care and language so every parent feels safe, welcomed, and respected. My philosophy is rooted in gentle structure and the Montessori method, encouraging independence for both parents and babies through simple, responsive routines. I specialize in newborn behavior, feeding, sleep foundations, and emotional support — helping families understand their baby’s cues and build healthy rhythms from the very beginning. One of my strongest areas of expertise is sleep shaping, using age-appropriate techniques that allow many babies to sleep through the night by 4–5 months, always with a respectful, attachment-minded approach. Clients often share that I have an effortless way of integrating into the home, anticipating needs before they are spoken, and creating an environment of peace, order, and emotional safety. Whether supporting breastfeeding, troubleshooting sleep, soothing a fussy newborn, guiding siblings, or caring for a recovering parent, my goal is always the same: to bring calm, clarity, and confidence to the postpartum experience. For me, being a doula is more than a profession — it’s a devotion to nurturing, empowering, and walking alongside families during a beautiful and vulnerable chapter. Every home I enter becomes part of my heart, and it is an honor to support parents as they grow into their new roles with confidence, joy, and rest. If you’re looking for someone who will care for your baby with tenderness, support your recovery with evidence-based expertise, honor your family’s identity, and guide you with compassion every step of the way, I would be honored to walk this journey with you.

I had the pleasure of working with Josy as my postpartum doula, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From day one, she was incredibly respectful of our family's needs and preferences, always communicating clearly and checking in to make sure we felt supported. Josy's knowledge of infant care is exceptional. She guided us through everything from feeding and sleep routines to soothing techniques with confidence and expertise. She supported me on my nursing journey and with infant massage, especially tummy massage in the early weeks. What truly impressed me was her commitment to continuously learning and deepening her skills—she stayed current with the latest research and best practices, which gave me tremendous peace of mind during those early weeks. Her calm and joyful presence and genuine care made such a difference during a vulnerable time. If you're looking for a postpartum doula who is professional, knowledgeable, and truly dedicated to her craft, Josy is an outstanding choice. Beyond her technical expertise, what truly set Josy apart was her extraordinary kindness and emotional intelligence. She understood that welcoming a newborn into the family is about so much more than feeding schedules and sleep—it's about navigating a profound life transition with all its joys and challenges. Josy met us exactly where we were, without judgment, and created a safe space for us to ask questions, express concerns, and adjust to our new reality. Her deep understanding of the needs of families with newborns was evident in countless small but meaningful ways. She anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, whether it was preparing a nourishing snack, tidying up the kitchen so we could rest, or simply sitting with me during a difficult moment and offering reassurance. She recognized when I needed encouragement and when I just needed someone to listen. Josy also showed remarkable sensitivity to the dynamics of our whole family. She understood that postpartum support isn't just about the baby—it's about caring for parents as they adjust to their new roles, managing recovery, sleep deprivation, and the emotional roller coaster of those first weeks. Her presence brought a sense of calm and competence that allowed us to feel more confident as parents. What I valued most was her genuine warmth and the way she made us feel seen and supported as individuals, not just clients. Josy truly cares about the families she works with, and that compassion shines through in everything she does. Having her by our side during those precious early weeks was an invaluable gift.

words will never do it justice to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to both Noa and Alex. Alex was our birth doula, but they both supported us immensely throughout pregnancy and helped us feel truly prepared for childbirth. their knowledge, resources, and guidance—especially when it came to navigating decisions and creating our birth plan—were invaluable. having Alex with us during labor gave us real peace of mind and confidence that our preferences would be honored. her calm, warm presence was incredibly grounding and supportive. her expertise allowed both my husband and I to be fully present throughout and after to delivery to enjoy those special moments with our newborn. as second-time parents, we didn’t have a doula for our first birth, and the difference was significant. having their support throughout pregnancy and during the birth of our second daughter made the entire experience feel more informed and supported. we cannot recommend these two human beings enough if you are looking for an uplifting and positive birth experience! – s & b
