My first postpartum client was when I was 18 yrs old - before the word doula was ever known. I have worked in the 3rd largest hospital in the country within the maternity unit as a nurse assistant/patient tech. I also sleep condition and train babies to sleep well at night as long as the parents follow through with instructions when I am not there. Baby can sleep between 10-12hr straight.
