I’m Emilee, affectionately known as Nanny Emmy. I’m a career nanny with over thirty years of experience caring for children of all ages. For nearly the past decade, I’ve focused exclusively on newborn and postpartum care, supporting more than fifty families through one of the most important transitions of their lives. Working with families is not about showing up with a checklist. It is about walking into a home and immediately understanding what is needed. From the baby who is struggling to settle, to the parent running on empty, to the small details no one else has time to think about, I bring experience, confidence, and a listening ear. I provide a combination of newborn care and postpartum support, whether during the day, overnight, or both. My care is practical, intuitive, and grounded in evidence-based practice. Whether I am caring for your baby through the night, helping establish healthy sleep habits, or managing a few household tasks while you rest, my presence is intentional and my care is always tailored to your family’s needs. What sets me apart is not just experience. It is the ability to assess a situation, respond with purpose, and care for the family as a whole. I understand what recovery actually looks like. I understand what newborns need. And I know how to bring relief and routine into a home that feels stretched thin. My goal is to leave families feeling confident and capable without the guesswork. You already know you need the help. The next step is saying yes. Getting started is simple, and the support that follows brings real peace of mind. You can hand it off and breathe. I am ready when you are.

Hello! My name is Shannon. I'm a birth and postpartum doula serving the DFW and surrounding areas. I'd be honored to be considered as your doula. I am deeply passionate about helping every birthing person I work with feel informed and empowered in their decisions. I offer support for all types of births including but not limited to: home births, water births, vbacs, and more. No matter what you choose for your own birth journey, I will be by your side every step of the way. I will help you feel empowered in your choices, informed in every decision you make, medical or non-medical, and nurture your needs to ensure you can focus on your new motherhood journey. Please reach out to me for questions and concerns.

We hired Shannon as our doula to help with the birth. She was good about communicating with us beforehand, and had answers for all of our questions. She helped empower me during my labor and pushing, and I appreciated having her there to support, guide, and comfort me through that time. Once I had given birth, she taught me how to nurse my baby. I was glad to have such a supportive woman at my side through it all. She also took a lot of pressure off of my husband by comforting and encouraging me (since he didn’t quite know how to help me at that time), which we very much appreciated. Overall, it was a good experience.

Hi friend, I’m Prisca, the doula behind your birth friend I’m a certified doula, wife, and mama with a big heart for walking alongside women through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. My care is rooted in connection, the kind that feels genuine, grounding, and personal. I believe doula support should feel less like a service and more like a steady friendship. Someone in your corner who gets it, sees you, and walks with you through it all. I believe every woman deserves: gentle, personalized support evidence-based guidance and someone who truly sees her I also believe that knowledge is power. When women understand their options, their bodies, and the birth process, they’re able to step into this journey feeling confident, informed, and deeply supported. I’m passionate about helping women feel equipped and empowered every step of the way. Birth isn’t just physical, it’s emotional, spiritual, and sacred. That’s why my support goes beyond timelines and checklists. I show up with heart, with presence, and with care that’s built on trust, friendship, and faith. My faith is the foundation of how I serve. It’s what grounds me, guides me, and helps me hold space with love and grace in every space I enter. Whether we’re chatting over tea during pregnancy, breathing through contractions together, or unpacking the beautiful, messy layers of postpartum, I’ll be right there with you as your steady, grounded support. I serve families in Charlotte, NC, and the surrounding areas, and it would be an honor to walk with you through your journey. Got questions? Want to connect? Or want to say hi? I’d love to hear from you! I’ve poured a lot of heart into my website, and I would be delighted if you stopped by. I’d love to connect with you there.

Working with Prisca was the best decision we made for our birth. From the very first meeting, she made us feel heard and supported. She provided so much helpful information, helped us feel prepared, and was a calming, reassuring presence throughout labor. Her warmth, knowledge, and encouragement made all the difference. We can’t recommend her enough!

Blessings! My name is Carolann Rosso and I am a licensed massage therapist, certified birth and postpartum doula and momma of five. I live in Aubrey and serve the North Texas area. Although I am not actively serving as a birth doula in this season, I bring the mindset of pregnancy and birth being sacred and seek to use my skills to bring balance to the bodies of women getting ready for birth, in labor and recovering in their 4th trimester.

Recent review

We loved having Carolann as a part of our birth team! Through days of prodromal labor and a successful Vbac delivery, she was there to support, encourage, and answer all of my questions. My baby was stuck in my right hip and Carolann immediately came over and led me and my husband through different moves to encourage baby into alignment. Arriving to the hospital she advocated for my needs and preferences when I could barely talk for myself. She stayed by my side the entire labor and delivery, and I am so thankful for her consistent presence during that time. Postpartum, she was available for any questions I had, checked in on us to make sure we were doing well, and helped me recount my birth experience from her point of view to fill in details I had missed. After previous birth trauma with my first, Carolann helped my second birth be the amazing experience that all births should be!

Hello everyone, my name is Trisha. I live in Fort Worth, TX and I serve Fort Worth and Dallas. I recently moved here from New Jersey with my husband, 5 kids, cat and dog and I love it here! I have always wanted to be in birthwork, since I had my first child at 18, but never knew where I would fit in. A few years ago I learned what a doula was and knew that that was where I belong. I love all things pregnancy and childbirth and love to learn more about it. I have worked in restaurants my whole life so I am very good at multi tasking and thinking on my feet and solving problems. I am a newer doula, however I have been helping friends, co workers and family forever with childbirth. I love to be there to help during the most amazing time of everyone's lives and know what a privilege it is to be involved in such a emotional and private time. In my free time I love exploring my new home with my kids and finding new places to see! Family is everything so I love to spend all free time with them.

As a Certified Doula, I love walking beside families through the transitions of pregnancy, labor and postpartum. I believe having access to positive support during those times contributes not only to better birth outcomes, but stronger bonds within the family and community as well. A mother of six myself, and while I have many interests and hobbies, like gardening and reading (SO much reading!) my knowledge around birth and motherhood has been a constant thread of connection with those I meet. I am honored when families value my input by bringing their questions to me! I am always seeking to learn more and have no hesitation in pointing clients to other resources if I am unsure of an answer. I strive to encourage an informed, prepared, and calm birth environment for my clients, meeting challenges that arise with patience and proven techniques.

My background is education in many areas: home economics, child development, early childhood, special education and ended with school counseling for pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. I'm married to my lifelong sweetheart and I have three amazing grown children that have three amazing spouses. My absolute joy in life is being a Lolli to four precious grandbabies and more to come!!! I love birth! I feel that there is no birth story better than any other. My goal as a doula is to keep you calm, peaceful, and fearless with lots of love and positive affirmations. Let me help you make your "dream birth" come true.

Recent review

I wasn’t sure I would need a doula or not. This was my second unmedicated birth and my first went well so we questioned the value. When I tell you it made my birth experience tremendously different, it made a world of difference. My birth this time was about half the time of my first and the contractions picked up quickly. It was amazing to have someone guide my labor the whole way, time contractions for me, play my playlist, help do hip squeezes and comfort measures before I even asked for them. There was a point when I had stalled and my midwife suggested breaking my water to help progress things. I was in laborland and couldn’t think at that point, and Jody guided me through the risk and reward factors to help me make an informed choice. Having her helped my husband be less anxious because he had her knowledge and support to lean on. She knew when to step in and when to step back. If birth had a best friend, it would be Jody. I highly recommend her to anyone in or out of hospital for any birth, but especially if your goal is an unmedicated birth, book her now and thank me later!

We provide compassionate care that focuses on your emotional well being, physical recovery, and confidence as a parent. We are dedicated to empowering women, by providing culturally competent care that honors their unique experiences.

Recent review

We had an incredible experience working with Cortni as our birth doula for the delivery of our first child. In the weeks leading up to labor, she was excellent at communicating with us and made sure we always felt informed, supported, and prepared. She even followed up with me after each of my doctor’s appointments which really helped ease a lot of my anxiety as a new mom. Cortni’s background as a registered nurse makes her stand out amongst other doulas. Her medical knowledge of labor and birth was so valuable as she was able to read and explain all of the hospital monitors and machines and clearly communicate what was happening every step of the way. Having her there helped me stay calm, grounded, and focused on my baby and my body during labor. It also allowed my husband to fully focus on supporting me, knowing Cortni was there to help us understand everything that was happening medically. We are so grateful for her presence and support and cannot recommend Cortni highly enough to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly exceptional birth doula.

During the time, Ayanna was my doula, I was very thankful for her. She is very knowledgeable in her practice, and keeps a professional composure. She is trust worthy, and was a huge help during my last trimester (when I met Ayanna). I am grateful for her during pre-labor, during labor, and postpartum. I still buy her yoni herbs, which I enjoy. It really helps with soreness and inflammation, which is due to coitus. I love that she provides brochures full of information about each product she promotes. I trust her products, as they are holistic and natural. She does not compromise her ethics, nor her core values.
