I quickly realized how much I didn't know about breastfeeding and the numerous options available to me during birth. This lack of knowledge was overwhelming, and I couldn't help but think about other first-time moms who might be feeling the same way. That moment sparked a deep desire within me to do more— to guide and support other women as they transition into motherhood. I am a traveling birth/postpartum doula who is also an end of life doula (helping others transition over to the after life). I became a doula after realizing nursing school wasn’t for me. I wanted to be a L&D nurse then a Nurse Practitioner so I could deliver babies. One day I was talking to my spiritual coach who told me my ancestors told her I was a medicine healing lady, and my life purpose was to be a midwife. I never thought to be one even though I heard so many people talked about having midwives and doula when I was pregnant with my son. I decided to do some research and I fell in love with the results and became a certified trained birth/postpartum doula through Madriella Doula Network. Therefore i have plenty of experience. I haven’t worked with any ages over 3 years old besides my siblings, so I’m not quite experienced with the older kids. I am however willing to give it a shot. I’m 20 years old( lol very quick on my feet to chase the littles) I’m currently a junior in college studying for my degree in early childhood. Your probably thinking A very young junior i know, but I graduated high school a year earlier than my class. Therefore I have all the capabilities to teach your littles and/or help with homework. However all of my classes are online so, I’m free whenever you need me to be. I’ve worked with children for years and I do it because it’s my passion.
